This game is absolutely incredible. I love the selection of aircraft(although having more wouldnt hurt), the graphics are amazing, I love that it's interactive. The reason I removed 1 star is because I would like it to be cross-platform. I have an android phone, and also an iPad, and I'd like to play on both without having to pay twice. Phone for portability and iPad for easier control and overall better performance. If you could add an account thing, thay would make this game a 10/10.
It is a fairly good game, it would be cool if there were more free planes, as I'm planning to buy a plane but being limited to 2 smaller ones is a bit annoying. Also I'm having this problem with the Cessna 172P where as soon as I spawn in it tilts back, the only way I can get it to tilt forward is to move forward fast, turn on ground brakes, where it then levels but then when I turn them off to take off it falls back on its tail again.
This game is very good, but my only problem is that when I am about to land at an airport in freeflight or multiplayer mode, the screen randomly freezes and exits the app. I haven't completed a single flight on the app for about six months. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled it countless times, and nothing has changed!
just making a game huge in size doesn't give you a good game. having to look into those little dials to control stuff and the plane being so so difficult to handle just ruins the experience. people may say they want an experience as close to the real thing as possible but that's not possible on a phone and not ideal either. landing is difficult. poor graphics. I'm sorry.
I have downloaded this game before and it is excellent, the aircraft details are great with the interior and exterior. The physics an interactivity are also great. However, I have tried downloading it again and when I click on the app I allow the simulator to acces photos and data but right after I get kicked from the game and I get: "Unfortunatley X-Plane has stopped". Ive tried to fix it but I cant please fix it.
First off, the controls are utterly abominable. Rather than annoying impossible to stay still tilt controls. let's integrate joy stick controls, it's steady and easy to manage. Secondly you only get two planes for standard version? Really? 1 small commercial jet would be nice. There are plenty of other sims that offer the free of charge while being better than yours. The other aspects of the game are very adequate such as Sound Design✔, Cockpit Virtual Realism✔, ATC✔, Ground Options✔. Boo Hoo
I've just purchased the full world map and aircraft package. But everytime I try to download a route, it simply says "Bad Connection" once it reaches 100%. There definitely isn't any problem with my Internet connection because the download is always super fast. It's only after attaining 100% that I get this prompt. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
The 737-800 is very realistic but still needs a few improvements. -The FMC needs an update to set up N1 limits, take off and landing refs, etc. -The game almost always crashes when trying to set up a departure and arrival in the FMC (I'm using an android device, a Samsung galaxy s8 ultra with 256gb storage and 12gb RAM so my device is not the issue) -An option to custom map controller buttons -Make the boeing 777 and the airbus A320 as interactive as the boeing 737-800
Overall it's the best simulator ever, other games I tried are too unrealistic or too laggy. What left a star off is that it's super hard to control the 747's pitch and whenever I do a visual landing, I spawn way too high. One last thing, lots of the liveries are old, so please retexture the planes. Add a blank white livery too.
Really impressed with this so far. Didn't expect to find as much depth on mobile, but this is pretty realistic and it looks nice. Tutorials are really good for people new to planes too. I'd prefer a one time purchase over the monthly global fee, but you don't need it to play, so that's nice. I did find one bug: The Cirrus jet - The battery 2 switch can be toggled on but not off like all of the other switches. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or if I did something wrong.
Needs work. The physics are realistic and the graphics are very good. The new aircraft are excellent, but some of the older ones, like the A320 desperately need a rework. The camera and map controls are horrendous. They're fidgety and clunky to control. The cockpit controls are also very difficult to use. More aircraft, reworked aircraft and much more refined controls are much needed. The game would be perfect if you added those. Keep working on it. Good job on it so far :D
Amazing and very detailed game. I have never played other simulation games as detailed as this one. Almost every planes have individual interactive swithes, which is great for people like me who want to know more about planes. However it is not like the PC version, there is limited planes and maps to fly. And it is rarely being updated ( I don't know the reason why). Also a little storage consuming. But it's a small price to pay to get a quality game like this.
Bumped it up one star as now it is available for use on Android Phones, Tablets, and Desktop PC using Samsung DeX Mirroring software. This Android version is actually BETTER than the X Plane 11.XX PC based simulator. Here it functions reliably and is expandable! It is not plagued by the voracious appetite for computer RAM, to supplement its voracious appetite for Video RAM on a PC. Not to mention its desire to run only on systems with very expensive high end video cards! The PC version of this software is still plagued with frame rate problems, stuttering, and just crashing because that is what it wants to do at that time! To irritate and frustrate the user. I recommend this version of X-Plane, leave the PC Version on the shelf and perhaps by the year 2055 they will have the issues, bugs, frame rate aggravation, crashes, and a whole host of other problems resolved. I know, they have been around for years, and they are still having the same old problems! It's a never ending madness!
I love the fact that you can interact with the cockpit components and start the plane manually. However, scenery graphics aren't the best, even on high settings and I wish you could adjust the sensitivity, so you dont have to rotate the whole screen to fly the bigger planes. Also, the physics sometimes feel you're on the moon, especially when doing a heavy landing. Overall, it's a decent game because of the features it gives you for its price (free), like interacting with cockpit.
Holy beautiful work of art now -- I was hoping for this for over a year and I can't even deal with how amazing it is. Literally can't believe the interface and the nav and everything seems legit. I was using infinite flight for their global maps but yeah this is insane now. Some little quirks I'd say: I have the S10+ you CANNOT access the menu buttons on the right side of the screen with the navigation bar on the phone. So in flight can't use button top right. Not the settings on main screen.
It's the simulator with the best graphics I have ever seen but the controls are too complicated for tablet or smartphone. I wish it had the controls similar to Infinite Flight to be able to enjoy it. I couldn't even find the brakse for taxiing other than the parking brakes. If it wasn't for this I would have continued subscription. If also needs more aircraft options and liveries.
The videos look great. Finished the first tutorial, which also looked really nice. But after that, it won't load. It tries to connect to Google Play, but a symbol just kept spinning and never loaded. It just got stuck at the video trying to sell some kind of subscription to airports. Can't pause or do anything to the video, which just kept replaying. And can't click on the "not now" button to go on. And there wasn't even the button to buy the subscription. So sad.
I really like this simulator. There are a few bugs, like the game kicking me out or the plane just staying stationary in the replay mode after a "longer" (20+ minutes) flight. Also, this game needs an updated A320 due to there not being a lot of functional buttons like the game advertises. All in all, it is a good game, but it has its flaws.
It's the most detailed flight sim of all, although when they get to it they need to massively improve on their terrain, for example the barrier between land, and water, more buildings, we don't expect AI in the slightest but that would be great. A new map, like London, one that's big enough for a flight with a commercial jet, like London to Paris, even if that has can be an option to download in-app. They are slowly improving on each aircraft, making almost fully interactive controls.
Out of all mobile flight sims, this is the best I've used. The graphics are phenomenal and I'll spend hours flying. The only problem I've had is when looking around the cockpit of an aircraft the screen will move to another direction suddenly and I can no longer move the camera. It might just be an issue with my phone and it rarely happens so I dont put too much blame on the app.
Very enjoyable, great graphics and quite hard (in my opinion) but suddenly, after only passing the first lesson flight school the app decided to not allow me to load any of the levels. So I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app and it is still not working. Luckily, I hadn't played much so didn't lose alot of progress. However it would be very annoying if I had gotten further and lost all the progress. Error message reads: Unexpected Error Line:933
I've entered 4stars in the star bar because everyone say the game is excellent. In my case, I can't play, the screen just goes white and Grey and when I want to start a game mode, I need to wait 15min for the game mode to launch. (I have 4gb of ram). It is really annoying because the game seems to be perfect otherwise... Please help me if you know how to fix the problem
