Most always disappointing. Downloads are often unusable, can't usually be watched offline, audio and video out of sync by 5+ seconds, downloads can't be stored on SD card, ... This app should be a compelling reason to not "cut the cord" for cable but other streaming apps easily beat this experience. As I said - most always disappointing.

Very organized visually. I don't like how the automated texting works. (I mean doesn't work) It's like you have to ALREADY know exactly what question to ask and how to word it the way it wants you to word it. Also you would never know that you won't be able to, AT ALL, get a TV box from Xfinity, if you sign up for that Affordable Connectivity Program (free wifi). The only way, would be to cancel and start a new one and pay monthly. But you only find out after hours on the phone.

App channels freeze often. Used in a ones plus phone and also on Samsung TV, and a firestick. They all have issues with channels that freeze. Have to stop and play, sometimes to the point it's not worth the effort. Tried reinstalling. Tried cleansing cache. I don't want to pay for a second box and this app should be awesome withn Comcast's resources. But, no.

Like others have said, this app no longer works. Constantly freezing, and basically unusable. Takes forever to even sign into it. I had used it daily on my phone, for years, to catch up on the news in the morning while I was getting ready for my day. What happened to the app the last few weeks????

Xfinity stream If a show is on multiple times a day you can't record only one episode at a specific time each day or week choosing record series . It will record all showings. Even if you choose "just this time" and click lighted update it doesn't work. Still records multiple episodes a day Never has worked on the app from day one. Googling it it is a common complaint from customers. Phone techs read from a book and say choose "just this time" and click update but the app is flawed and broke.

this app is...... ok... yeah, just, O K.... takes forever for it to load, that's if it doesn't freeze up first. other times it goes directly to the downloads option & freezes there so that i can't use the app at all....the thing i hate most is the fact that you have to be connected to your HOME wifi in order to watch any of the good channels or programs ;what's the purpose of having it if i can't view what i want to see if i'm away from home..No, i'm starting to hate this.

Ordeal to use this. It often doesn't recognize its own Xfinity internet! So to change channels one must leave the app and turn the device's Xfinity wifi connection off and then on again so it recognizes itself. Then you can return to the Xfinity stream app to change channels! Station emergency test buzzing and alert sounds play even after app has been left! Why are you tormenting customers? Thankfully a new internet company is coming to my area so you're soon just a bad memory!

I could live with the streaming being a bit glitchy but I don't use the app for only one reason -- I'm unable to use PIP (picture-in-picture). If I have to do anything else with my phone (answer a text, use a calculator, shop), I can't continue watching while I do it. PIP is my #1 requirement for any video service.

I am glad that this app exist so that I can watch Xfinity on my phone. It does have some flaws, though. It freezes often when I am watching the TV channels that is so annoying. I also can't rewind while watching a TV channel and I can't watch the streaming content like HBOMax or Hulu content on the Xfinity stream app like I can on my TV. This app is still worth having but needs improvement.

App has gotten better over the years. App needs picture in picture option and ability to stream content to TV's. While on vacation it would be great to use smart view to stream to a tv in the home instead of watching on my cell phone. I downloaded content on cell and tried to stream it to my iPad and I couldn't. I tried to stream to a tv and that wouldn't work either. If I pay for the service I want the ability to watch it ANYWHERE.

It worked good for two years, now the app won't even start! I uninstalled and installed now the app will not even come on! On my other tablets it comes on after long time then stops constantly. It's the app because my other movie apps work. I called xfinity after 25 mins I finally got a live person, couldn't understand him and "for some reason" 🤣 I got disconnected

Awful app. We are using this app as our main live tv interface as an unwilling Comcast subscriber ( no choice in our apartment complex). First of all, the app freezes so constantly as to make watching some of the live tv channels next to impossible. I called Comcast and was told that unless I had an LG or a Samsung smart TV the app was not really compatible with any other smart TV's. I have a Toshiba, Amazon Fire TV which works just fine. Freezing aside, the app itself is horrible. You cannot navigate to a specific channel. You have to go back to the "All Channels" link and then scroll through the channels to get to where you want to go. It also takes forever to load the info and then you have to wait until that's finished before you click on "Watch". Switching between channels is a laborious and frustrating experience. I do not like Comcast as a company and this app is a good reflection on the myriad reasons for that dislike. I was told that if we wanted to use their "Flex Box" we would have to pay $8.50 a month which is why we did not rent their cable box to begin with. If we had bought the Comcast internet only package then the Flex box is free but if we we subscribe to Comcast cable tv which is what the Flex box is for then we have to pay....make sense to you??? it didn't to me either... I hate Comcast.

App is messing up lately. Fix it! The app plays then freezes on and off, especially during commercials and there is no update for it. For the price I pay for your service (almost 200.00$per month) you would think we would have properly working apps and equipment.

This app doesn't even work with Xfinity internet! Every time I try to watch live shows while connected to wifi, it constantly locks up/stops playing. So annoying! It also locks up/lags while connected to my 5g data. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and nothing changes.

No longer presents selected shows without "pausing" after five or six (5 or 6) seconds. I have to close out of the app and then reopen it. And, just like Groundhog Day, the selected episode plays for 5 or 6 seconds followed by freezing. Very frustrating! 😖😡🤬

This app is terrible. Certain channels refuse to load at all, when it is clear they are authorized. It is just as bad as the Xfinity tv app for Roku, which is terrible also. That app will force close on a daily basis, among many other things.

Missing basic features: no pause, mute, or fast-forward. Channel changes are very slow and tedious. Missed the live news broadcast? The on-demand nightly network news broadcast news is only from NBC, and you have to wait until the next day to watch it. Missed it? Only the 2 days are available.

After the most recent update, the app doesn't work. Nothing loaded for me after at least 5 minutes waiting, so I tried clearing the app cache and data, but now I can't even sign in. The newest version has completely broken the app. I hope the developers push out a fix ASAP because it was a good app before.

Mirror cast from Samsung phone to a Roku device does not work, only supports Chromecast which makes no sense. When we are traveling mirroring from phone tv is what we use in travel trailer the app is behind the time.

This used to be a good app no real problems. Then the update happened. I can't access any of the show I want to watch, When I am able to watch something it is very glitchy. I got HULU and Amazon prime intead.

I cannot watch my downloads unless I use Wi-Fi or data. Defeats the whole purpose of having a download to watch on an airplane! Does not work on my phone or tablet!! Very disappointing. I have contacted them several times, but the issue has never been corrected. It's Awesome otherwise. I am able to download Netflix & Amazon Prime to watch when I'm away. They work perfectly.

For a major communication company this is a lousy app. It does not allow you to pause or rewind a program. It freezes as a program is running and you lose part of it when it starts again. Can't view local programming when away from home. Cannot get program information while the program is running. We had to get a TV box for our main TV to get the features not available on the app. We have used You Tube TV and it is a much better app but does not have some of the channels we like.

This app works great on my laptop. It struggles to stay connected on my android mobile devices e.g., cellphone and tablet. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, adjusted settings, multiple times over the years and nothing seem to fix the staying connection problem. For reference, I have several other streaming apps, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, and more. None Of them have a issue with staying connected.

Been using the app for quite some time now, so I've used it enough to know.... Comcast/Xfinity should be embarrassed by this app... I'm using their app on their internet service and it is the worst at streaming of any streaming service I use. Watching sports it is very noticeable stuttering panning side to side, it often freezes for a few seconds, goes to a black screen, then comes back working. 100% better off using the networks app that is available because you have xfinity vs their app.

It won't let me add more than four shows to be recorded in a single day. I have two at 8, two at 9, and one at 10. No matter which one the.shows I try to add as a fifth, it always bumps one of the other four. When I go to the series to check if it's being recorded it says it is even though it does not appear on the schedule and ultimately does not get recorded either. Please fix.
