Yelp for Business Owners

Ever since I beat a "dispute"through the bank I never again received notifications of leads. They somehow blocked my business account from consumers to be able to view or find on the system. These marketers are basically scammers! Very misleading and very unresponsive after the ordeal.

Bots. They use bots. People who contacted me within app, but no one ever called and that's how I was charged for clicks and them contacting me. Besides , the credit they offered me was stuck on "$81 of credit left' with no updates and then I was charged with payment the next day, why didnt it go down from $81 to lets say $50, $30, $10. I don't know how to describe it. Tech issues maybe

good afternoon. Why do I have to enter a password in the application every time? it's the same app!) always without a password. It is very uncomfortable. it is not possible to use such an application without knowing by heart a long password.

Yelp is terrible. $300 for a month of advertising and it resulted in a paltry 136 impressions, 37 clicks, and only 1 message. They offer no service or customization. When I called and started a dispute about the cost they said I was S.O.L. Total scam, don't waste your money. If there us ever a class action lawsuit against them, I'm IN!

The app is slow. The project specifics are now put in a separate box that needs to reload every single time you want to look back at the description which takes an unnecessary amount of loading time. I could tolerate it if the app sections load fast, but no, you had to make sure that everything about it is sluggish and sometimes even times out. I wish you would turn the app and the browser version like it used to be, because it is very frustrating to use.

Very very slow. Hiding the details so you can't easily refer back to them and have to bounce back and forth to make a reply with customer needs.

The app is great. However, have tried repeatedly to upload pictures and the app keeps dropping them. Am a crafts artisan & if fks can't see my work they WONT buy it -- thereby making YELP superfluous!

I paid $404 for 2 click, 1 call and a service request for something I don't even offer and my profile was optimized btw. I use 4 marketing platforms for my business and Yelp underperformed all of them by more than a %1000. It's hard to believe this kind of results at this level. I've never being ripped off so badly. Be very cautious if you want to try them, they sign you up for thing you didn't ask and the return of investment is worst than burning money for some heat.

Terrible app for business, does not notify when you get a message from a potential customer and highly doubt customer gets notified when you respond to their request for service, doesn't give them option to leave a phone number so you can only make contact through yelps terrible service, worked okay when I paid for leads, crazy how when I paid per visitor I had hundreds a day now that I'm not I might get one a week and don't get notified until weeks after they messaged, YELP IS A SCAM!!!!

Would recommend Insta,Fb, and Google. Got charged close to 300 for ads and did not recieve one client from here. Filled up a few weeks schedule just using Google for free, now imaging using google ads.

I'm recently started my new buisness and Yelp is an amazing platform for advertising. Very easy to set up an account and get going. Thank you yelp for making this process as easy as possible

I thought yelp was a great business tool, but it doesn't work for you unless you pay for ads to boost your page. If you get 5 star reviews they'll be taken down as they drive traffic to your page. You can't have your page removed unless you pay for ads. Cluttered interface, you don't have control of look and feel, you have to ask permission to change some things. It's frustrating. At least you get some traffic and can post photos. Ask questions before you list to see if it's a good fit or not.

I have 3 great customer reviews that were removed by the system without plausible explanation, when I called customer service the attendant said she can't unlock these reviews manually, disappointed.

A complete rip off service , stay away from these people and save yourself the money . First time someone called michael promised me he will not a charge me for a free trial , i found $300 something charges on my account. I disputed the charge and representative came with a resolution to refund me only half for no reason. I stopped the ads since its not beneficial and am not getting any customers from yelp , but i still find charges on my account . Very complicated service and unclear. 0rating

The app won't let me finish adding all my information then then information i do get the chance to put in doesn't save. My page also just won't publish or show up at all

3/25/22 - still unable to upload pics from gallery to the page. 1/14/22 Unable to upload photos from gallery using the app . Please have this fixed. please make messages so that unreplied messages are sorted to be at the top .

This app will take you to someone that you thought you were going to and they only allow you to choose from someone else that I guess is advertising for them. Very shady people to say the least!!

Was charged almost 300$ even though I was supposed to get that free. When I call customer service, no matter the time, it says I have contacted them outside business hours.

They said the ads i wont pay a single penny till my promo is up they gave me $900 for free ads and i pay out of pocket and still never seen the money they gave me pay for a single ad dont use this if your going to be a business owner your better off not buy anything from these clowns.

I have a licensed and insured llc. I have filled out the profile MULTIPLE times and it keeps running me in circles. It also asks for email confirmation. I have requested a confirmation email multiple times and have not received any. So at this point it seems that yelp business is a big waste of time. It is a pointless system !

App is very bad on android devices, it will not load up any messages. i have tried many different things to see if it will fix but does not. There is no point of using this app for your business, because you will not see messages from customer to even reply. stay away

Great app easy to use and great for Businesses like mine E3 Tree Of Life Mercy Organization!! I'm a new company and this has been a helpful app to getting my business off the ground running!! Plus staff is very helpful and informative.

New!! Now the text does not come thru properly. Figures the app starts acting strange when I'm no longer paying for the service. They constantly delete good reviews. I guess certain companies have them in their back pocket.

I don't care for these sites that want you to pay money to get a lead or possible lead before you even get a job. You should only be charged if you get the lead and if you actually do work. Google ads said we'll advertise for you but I got nothing but irelivant calls. I do lawn care and got 4 calls. One asking where my deli was. Another if I cut hair. So they didn't advertise but they sure did want 358$$$ at the end of the month. Yelp same deal

The worst experience and never thinking about using it again. They charge 6 bussiness for 1 possible job. Please they are bleeding money from bussineses people. And charge just for have the page open even without usin it arguing for the " possible customer" seeing your biz. 👎👎

I've been spending money with them for a year and the near by job was the only tool that was working and now doesn't work anymore because doesn't have enough people. Even their customer service said they don't have much traffic anymore. People are stopping using this platform and moving to another one. So don't waste your time and money. Luckily I realized that early and didn't spent much.

Waste of 💰. Reviews i am convinced that they play with it. I had more than 10 good reviews, and while i was paying for advertising, they were on and off. It's been more than a month that i canceled the advertising, and now i have 0 reviews in all. Better to use thumbtack, and hopefully, they don't become like yelp!!!

Not a good option for leads. They all for so much money compared to others apps. They also overcharged me $500. I disputed and lost. They basically said too bad even though there was all the evidence there that I was not liable.
