I hate that the new option to "allow data processing for a better experience" doesn't allow us to opt out, if I click no it just prevents me from editing my photo. I don't want a "virtual try on and skin analysis experience" (whatever that even means) and I don't want you collecting my data. This app used to be good but you guys have ruined it by trying to make it into some sort of social media website, all I want is a photo editor.
Since they got my last review deleted I will rewrite it in a more detailed version. You have to sign up to a free trial before you can even access the app, much less check out the "free" content. There is no way to skip the free trial sign up, so you are forced to subscribe. Some people will likely forget about the free trial period and get charged. That's how scams are run. I am not opposed to premium features but there should be a free trial without my credit card info. Other apps do it.
I did a review earlier and can't find it now to edit it so I just wanted to say the one good and one bad of what I learned tonight is that this app is fun to use. I'm really enjoying it. Even the part of aging yourself is very interesting in a weird kind of way. I also thought it was very cool realizing that if I liked a color on my picture I could actually order it!! What I didn't like was that the hair styles don't fit on your head right to get an acute idea of what it would look like.
I've tried every makeup app in play store and this one is by far the best. Not just a step up from the others, more like 3 steps up. To compare, other apps look like my coloring book when I was 3yrs old. However, this app looks like my coloring book at 33yrs old. Thanks, keep up the great work!
I think that the filters are really good, but whenever I do the live cam makeup, it starts to lag when I put on more than 2 filters. But other than that, the it is one of the best things I have ever downloaded. I recommend this game very much for makeup savy people. Good job to the people who made this game. Also, I recommend that the creators take the body tumer off the premium. But awesome job. Brava, bravo. 😀😀😀👍👍👍
This is definitely the best face editing app I've ever used but I've been having an issue lately. Every time I do a body tuning, the subject's face gets blurry. If any face editing have been done prior to body tuning, they will be undone. My annual membership will be wasted if this continues.
Been using for several years an still do. I have purchased a 1yr plan once. Problem with that was every so offen they wouldn't let me use my up grades. Saying i needed to purchases it. I got flustered telling them I did py, they telling me thats not what it showed in their records. Long story short i finally figured it out myself!! U have to be signed in to correct gmail account before you open this platform up. My phone had several gmails. So i stick to the free one after that.
It's a good app for practicing face charts and exploring different makeup looks, especially if you're a pro MUA. Wish that we could access tools like matte and satin lipstick without the limits if you don't buy a subscription, but still has loads of options and colours either way. Overall, I 100% recommend <3

I am a full time college student with quite a bit of stress, so I use YouCam Makeup to just relax and have fun without having to worry a whole lot about what I am doing. It is so much more optimized then it was a year ago. The face, and lip paints are so awesome, and so unique!!! It is certainly my pleasure to participate (play 🤗) in your app..even at 44yrs old, I look forward to taking selfies just to see what I can do with them. Thank you again!!!
I've been using the paid app for about a year. I find it easy to use and I enjoy working with the effects. My only issue is, I have a new phone and the premium effects did not transfer from my old one to the new one. It's disappointing not to be able to use the special effects I paid for.
One of the review here was correct, you now cannot access the so-called free content of the app without providing an email and your credit card. The developers outright lie about the fact that you can. Your loss, youcam. This looks like a scam. You lost a client, I'll never buy from a company with shady practices like yours.
This app is fun! And absolutely free unless you want to use the premium edit tools. I didn't rate 5 stars because sometimes it's a little slow and there are some things I don't like about it, but overall it's pretty good and easy to use. There is no reason to pay for it when it is free, so all these reviews about having had to pay for it are ridiculous to me. I also don't like the fact that we have to accept all permissions in order to use the free app.
I don't know why they advertise something completely different. Makeup is good. But, the hair styles and colors are horrible. Stamp on hair, and color doesn't completely cover the whole head. Some color's makes it look like you have gray hair. Need a better way to apply hair styles, color's.( Blended in) There's other apps that will do that. Like add volume, bang's etc. Expecially if ur paying for it.
Best makeup editing app if found. It is amazing how well it works and how flawless it makes everything look. I've had the app for over a year and never a problem with it.
I used this app for many years. It was for free and I could use all the items. Then I realised the app size was too big and was taking too much phone memory space, so I checked on the app store and saw that the new version was much lighter. Uninstalled the old one and replace it with the most updated. Big mistake, now only few items are free and it's full of ads. Basically useless. Very disappointed I'll never use it again.
Well honestly I'm not as beautiful as I once was, but this app brings it all back with it's tools that help a girl ,(or guy), fine tune their looks really very easily but the overall effect is beautiful and dramatic. Then a person can just add in some background, or color, or both, add a frame and special effects and voile. Easier done than said, trust me! YouCam app even has animation! All u need in 1 app!
This app isn't the very best. Tho, it's not the worst either! But, the "Time Machine" -(Seeing yourself in future-years) is really bad, it doesn't really make you look old, it's like it's a joke, for the "Time Machine". The editing makeup and stuff, isn't still the best, I've definitely seen better editing-makeup apps. But overall, I don't really recommend! (Still as I said, it's not the very-worst.)
Not really free...I mean ya technically...but for most of the beauty editing tools you'll need go upgrade to Pro! And judging on the one tool you can use...smooth...its not gunna be worth upgrading anyway.
I love the game but it's a little too complicated but it's really good it's just a little complicated because there's so many buttons that you have to press and then it like reads the words like very quickly but I really do like it very nice game that's amazing for this game so maybe a little less like buttons are like stuff but other than that it's amazing is one of the best games ever I love it
I paid for premium like for 5 years ago and last year I noticed it charged me for a renewal fee. I stopped it this year from renewing because when I originally paid for premium, it was supposed to be a one-time fee. I think it's very unscrupulous of a company to change that or even make it an option that they're able to change it later on. I won't be paying for premium again And because the features in this app are pretty much unusable without premium, I will uninstall this app.

Just grabbed it to be able to c what my hair would look like before choosing a new color. This app did that amazingly.
I love the hair dye samples. It gives youban idea of what that color will look on you if you dye it that in real life.
I like it but I wish you had more hairstyles to choose from some are really outdated.
Amazing app deserves a 5 star rating but the only things are that for the zodiacs there are 2 lebras and 2 Capricorns but no leo and I am a Leo so I really have no makeup look and this one is really anoying for ppl whith 2 colered hair like me on the hair section it only dose my brown and not my blonde in the front and it gets really anoying and last thing is for the custom lips if you are smiling wen you put one on and if you stop smiling it looks REALLY weird. But amazing app 💯💯💯☑️
This app is difficult to cancel. I signed up for trial and I'm trying to cancel it and I see no options to cancel this. If I see a charge I'm going to have to debate it with my credit card company
Downloaded this to see if I should go with a silver color. While I understand even the best app can't show you EXACTLY how you would look in real life, it was unable to change my hair color at all. I'm a redhead, and when I picked silver, my hair became pink. Checked to be sure I hadn't picked the wrong color or was using a blend process. Maybe it can't go lighter, but it could change to bright green or blue. 3 stars as it seems to be 50/50 on what it can do. For makeup it was great.
