Zocdoc: Find & book a doctor

This app is useless garbage. The resulting providers of any search are always no-name, JV, Beta telehealth robot's that are out-of-network bc their credentials are suspect. You won't find any of your local reputable doctors through Zocdoc and I've tried using the app in several States over a period of several years. This app is a marketing scam. A Google Maps search would serve you better in at least showing you where your local providers are. Then just check em against insurance.

Not a reliable app. Will show doctors that do not specialize in the field. For example, needed a radiologist, zocdoc confirmed an appointment with an orthopedic doctor instead. The orthopedic doctor was LISTED as a radiologist on the Zocdoc app. (Unsure who is at fault; the app or the specialist not updating their info.)You may want to call the specialist, prior to your appointment, just to make sure.

great app, relatively easy to use. If you have insurance it's easy to add, so you can see which providers are in your coverage. Basically, Zocdoc connects you to a centralized library of many different kinds of doctors sorted by those in your network and those out of network. Making appointments with Zocdoc is easy and scheduling is accurate and up to date. No complaints.

I absolutely love this app. I stumbled onto it during one of my stressed-out-gotta-find-a-doctor episodes... I have memory/ organization/confusion issues, due to brain surgery. Going to the doctor will literally be pushed off for months, if not years, because of the scramble. This app does it all with my information. Within 15 minutes, I have three doctors appointments I have needed for months, booked. Thank you- this app is remarkable! I highly recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So far I have made 6 different doctor appointments on this app and all were cancelled. Just took a day off work to go to appointment and was told upon arrival that my appointment was cancelled "by the system." Very frustrating. Cost me a day off work, now I have to reschedule, and lose another work day.

Absolutely awful. Attempted 3 separate appointments, never had any of them. Tried calling the number I was given if having issues and it just rang- after the 11th ring I had to give up. I will never use this app again.

I have been using zocdoc for years and it's very helpful and convenient. I wish that I could store my immunizations and covid vaccine info in there as well as keep my old health insurance information. Tabs would also be very useful to switch between my daughter's information and mine. But maybe it will be updated eventually.

Haven't used the app. The commercial you are pushing on T.V is disgusting, and completely cringe worthy. I am trying to figure out why the money was wasted on this ridiculously retarded commercial, and not donated to help something worthwhile. Please find someone who specializes in creative development, because your advertising employee failed miserably. Everytime I hear this commercial I pray to ANY of the gods, that you may experience the digestion of a whole cactus. Sincerely, someone annoyed

OMG, I TOTALLY LOVE ZOC DOC!!!! I had the best expirence today with the most fantastic representative, I never used the mobile site before, and she guided me through the whole way. Zoc doc is so great! the easiest way to find and book a Doctor of your choice. The best part is their kind and compassionate customer service. LOVE ZOC DOC!!!!

So easy to look up the doctor you need who also accepts your insurance and you can make your appointment right then and there. Love this app. Will update review once I've completed my scheduled appointments.

Inaccurate. I booked a dermatologist appointment on May 18 I then get a call telling me that that date was already booked and told me if I wanted to cancel it or reschedule it.. then I chose to reschedule it for next week the 26th :// it told me the date was avaliable but I guess it lied??

Showed 1 doctor in my state. The rest were out of state doctors. The app is an amazing idea, just needs a LOT more data. There are thousands of doctors in my state. I was trying to use this app to sift through them. I tried reducing my search criteria, it still only returned 1 doctor in my state for "general practice". -Rhode Island

It's just a super handy app that does a great job at filtering doctors by specialty and insurance. Let's you book through the app and even sets reminders on your calendar for you. Five Stars!

Totally out of date insurance database, appointments seldom go through any more, a real shame. This app used to be excellent and really helpful, now it's a total waste of time and effort to attempt to search for in plan providers and the providers that are booked through here aren't only out of pocket despite being listed as in network, but the offices aren't even getting the appointment request from Zocdoc. Fix this or you will only have yourself to blame when your user base drops out entirely

After having such a hard time finding a mental health physician I was defeated I downloaded this app and within 5 minutes I had an appointment to a provider nearby that was highly rated. Thank you

I keep making appointments and the doctors aren't getting them or they change them without talking to me. Overall it's just being frustrating.

My appointments were cancelled twice. Seems like the application is not in sync with the actual availability of the slots.

This app is horrible. You don't get to talk to anyone at all. If your Dr forgets to call in your script your just up a creek without a paddle. Stupid to have to schedule an appointment thru this app.

I love this app. I didn't know something like this existed. I think this is really good for Americans. When you have a doctor who's not good you can always switch. You can also find doctors who accept your insurance plan. You don't have to go through the embarrassing encounters " oh I'm sorry we don't accept your insurance here" before you even book a doctor's appointment you can do a video call or phone call with a doctor to get consultation.

Very convenient! Makes managing medical care less of a chore. Some limitations as far as participating providers in certain specialties.

Great to find doctors that will take your insurance. Quick to setup, makes it easy on mobile instead of needing to book appointments on a PC or by calling everytime.

Booked a dr.'s appt only to be told by the office that Zocdoc never communicated the appt over to them, and now they were fully booked and couldn't take me. Wasted 3 hrs round trip just to go there only to be turned away. Never had this issue last time I used Zocdoc. What happened?

This is one 2 easiest ways to schedule, cancel and prepare for a visit! Questions are already in his hands when you are in your appointment, therefore, more relaxed and able to focus on your conversation!

Nice in theory, but apparently a complete failure in practice. I showed up to an appointment I really needed (booked and confirmed through zocdoc) for a doctor's office who had never heard of me! Not only did they not have me in their system at all, this is apparently a frequent occurance. The first thing I was asked was, "uh oh, did you use zocdoc?" Personally, I think doctor's offices need to stop using this service if it's flawed enough for them to not be surprised when patients get lost in the system!

Easy to schedule my apps in one place. I forgot where my last appt had been but the app had my old appts recorded so I don't have to stress about remembering where to get medical documents transferred to. Also it auto fills in the time and address to my calendar, 10/10 will keep using this app.

I used to love this app because it was so easy but now it doesn't work anymore. Every provider I select, their schedules all say there's no availability how've when I call their office, there are appointments available. The convenience is lost. It's pointless now
