I am unable to place order in Zomato...when the amount in the cart is eligible for Free dal. It shows a message saying items are out of stock. If I click on either of the option it removed the items that I have added. Please fix this as soon as possible. Please find the attached screenshot. This is really frustrating. How the app is released to Play Store without proper testing.

It is a wonderful app, and they have come a long way from being a restaurant rating company to food delivery. Constantly adding user friendly features. The plastic recycling initiative is a step in the right direction. Only request is to figure out ways in which we can return the used containers, I know there are logistical challenges but things like areawise Dropbox could be explored.

Overall experience is good. However a lot of opportunity to improve user experience in search and filters to reduce time taken to place order. Over the last few instances, the ETA has been incorrect. After the ETA expires, it continues to show a constant 'reaching you in 22 mins' perpetually. Wrong status updates. Order picked up automatically moves to 'order is on the way' status. However the delivery partner is still waiting for another order to be picked up. This is PRO Experience.

Helpful app but the rates are too high, overloaded with taxes and delivery charges. Sometimes taxes and other charges are more than the item itself even though the restaurant is nearby. Its better to collect the order from restaurant or use restaurant's parcel service. Alternative app is much required otherwise there will be a monopoly of this app in future. Also, couldn't understand their pro plus invitation system. Pro uses are also limited to only a few restaurants, sometimes seems useless.

Horrible experience with delayed deliveries. Last few months have been a nightmare with every other delivery being delayed especially those that has delivery partner assigned. They even cancelled one of my orders after waiting nearly an hour. I had raised concern with chat support and asked them to escalate as well, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. This is now the breaking point and I think it's time to uninstall this app.

Very nice service. Carefully chosen hotels with ratings make it easier for customers to choose from. They give good discounts comparing to swiggy. Delivery partners are well trained. They deliver straight to your hands. Like other food operators they don't disappoint the customers. Really good job done. App is very easy to use. 👍 Great.

I don't like using apps like these, super buggy. I'm checking the dining options, and upon pressing back (the one on the bottom part of the phone, or the arrow that the app has on the top left), the app takes me back to the delivery side. I don't want a delivery, I WANT TO CHECK OUT THE SAME FILTERED LIST OF DINE IN PLACES. It is super inconvenient.

Horrible. Everything went downhill after I bought zomato pro for 3 months. I've ordered 3-4 times since and every order was late. I understand that the job of delivery is very hard and taxing. My most recent order is delayed by over 40 mins it still hasn't arrived. I've never experienced this with swiggy, ever. I trusted this platform and this is what I receive. I talked to customer support and that wasn't of much help either.

Customer service has degraded massively. Been using Zomato since years and a pro user. With bad service very conveniently they say is that it's the hotels fault where as it's actually the delivery partners mistake. Very disappointed with recent experiences and will look for other options. PS: Already mailed you and contacted customer support. No response either.

They don't seem to treat their employees well. Their delivery drivers go on strikes. I have been waiting since yesterday for an order that was marked as delivered but never arrived. Customer support not available because apparently they also go on strikes. Restaurants marked as open when they are really closed. Orders are very often late, if they arrive. I would literally pay to install an alternative application, but I'd never reinstall this one for free. Completely unreliable. Uninstalling.

My review is of the app experience alone - I'm impressed! Loved the dynamic notifications on the Homescreen (eg. informing me of distance limits due to rains - it was on for a relevant period of time, and then disappeared!). Also love the addition of voice instructions for delivery. The "eat what makes your happy" section appeared to change order of display based on time of day, which I appreciate as a customer. Speed of the app, interactivity, and transitions are really good too!

Yes. I totally want to give 5star but it really really hurts me when I check and compare the home delivery order price and the price directly from restaurant. It varies n varies a lot. So I am reducing the rating. I may order in utmost emergency or from far away places may be,but my orders from Zomato won't be within the radius of 5km. The price variation really hurts. 😭

New method of begging - you place an order for food. They deliver it, with one or few items missing. They'll give you an option for refund or promo of full amount of that item. If opted for refund, they'll again deducted an amount of Rs. 2-3 from the total amount. I am simply asked for the amount of the item missing, to be refunded in full. And for that your company couldn't do that. Already having an earning system, never knew it had to have such new ways of side-hustling of begging.

Even with a pro subscription they are charging very high delivery and service charges even on the pro supported restaurants. Their pro plus membership is invite only and I don't think anybody gets the invite ever. Swiggy is good. Atleast on their swiggy one supported restaurants they offer free delivery. Also, if you compare prices of the same food item on both zomato and swiggy, you will find, that Zomato list price is 20-30₹ higher than swiggy's price. Zomato is a total fraudster and cheap.

At first the app was amazing it got some good deals, offer but after updating it does not allow you to use coupon shows coupons can't be applied and it becomes really expensive to order something without any discount before it used to give 60% off now nothing moreover, delivery charges and taxes charge are high too making it unaffordable. Really disappointed with Zomato this time.

Other things are okay but sometimes people order just simple snacks to have it fastly. But it only shows the time to be taken after confirmation of the order. And even if it shows like 50 min or one hour to just have your ordered sandwich or pastry, you cannot cancel it instantly. Which is such a disappointment. It should provide a 1 minute window to cancel the order after knowing the expected time of delivery.

After years of being a power user of the app exclusively, I think I'll need to now look for a viable alternative. Recent issue with items getting added automatically due to a faulty algorithm. When I asked for a refund against the same (since order had been placed), they try to pawn off a promo code, problem with which is that it is just too cumbersome to remember and use. As such, it's as good as giving up your money. Earlier, at least customer support was helpful, but now acting as crooks

Poor service. I accidentally placed an order. Accidentally meaning it went to the ordered screen directly without that 5 second buffer on the screen where we can cancel. So I quickly went and cancelled because I didn't get chance to apply promo code. Moreover I cancelled the order within a minute. There was no loss to anyone. (That restaurant always delays with my order) Either way I contacted Zomato and asked to make an exception, nobody was willing to help. I asked for supervisor calls no sup

New version of app is worest and showing wrong delivery time. Actual restaurant rates and Zomato rates both are different. Costs are too high compare with hotel. After taking pro membership, I am unable to get all the restaurants, only few restaurants are showing and some times no restaurants too, but In the same time in my wife mobile showing all restaurants. I have contacted customer care too regarding this issue, no luck. Better don't take pro membership. Finally worest experience

Amazing app, but it is a little difficult to navigate, especially when I need to order food. Update: Tech feedback: the app when minimized, just disappears, you have to go to apps and open it again, though context is restored, but everytime you have to go open it again, if you minimize. Which most people I think do a lot.

Nice app but cash on delivery option not available on order above 350. Other apps like swiggy are providing this option. One more thing I would like to point is that whenever you apply coupon on an order in cart and in case you move away from cart to other screen like viewing more itme to add. Your applied coupon are automatically removed and if you forget to add the coupon again you will miss the offers. This again don't happen in swiggy.

I don't even feeling like giving them even one star. Worst app. Recently I had made an order and there were items missing. I tired to reach out to the delivery guy he didn't pick the call. I tired the online support where they asked to email and reverted after 4 days, where their revert says the delivery guy and the restaurant gives them an confirmation that all the items were delivered. But I had the proof that the restaurant itself has missed billing that item where zomato has looted money.
