I have used this app over and over again. Some times life gets crazy, and even though it's just a little each day, it helps. I use mostly all zenlabs free apps to help myself stay active.
Fairly basic but at the same time awesome. Gets the job done. There's ads but they're not intrusive.
All I need to say is that this app works. Stick with it until the end and you will definitely see results I promise you.
The exercise routines are great. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 starts is due to the ads after completing the workout. Specifically, any time a Quicken Loans ad opens, I'm unable to close the ad (other ads allow you to close after about 5 seconds). I end up having to completely close the app and reopen it, then mark the workout as complete (which sometimes needs to be repeated, if the same ad comes up). Having to do this, especially multiple times, can really throw off my routine.
I love these apps by Zen Labs, but sometime I've already done a warm-up and just want to move onto the sets. If I'm using more than one app (I also have the Sit Ups and Push Ups apps installed), it'd be nice to be able to pause the workout to move between the apps for circuit-style training and not lose the rep counts. Also, a pause option would be nice when I get higher up in reps in case I can only do 2 sets before a meeting, etc. Having a return point would be great.
Nice app works well, really pleased with it just it would sink with my watch
sometimes when you finish a workout an ad pops up preventing you from saving the workout forcing me to close the application and redo everything. happened a few times now with this and their pushup app. I'm using note9 with hardly any thing else installed.. I wouldn't have rated 1 star if this wasn't a reoccurring issue.
I love these apps! I use this and the 200 situps app. The pace is great - even if you only have time to do this once a week do it! You will see changes. It's challenging but very do-able. Stretch first! I like the stretching and warmup apps from fitify.
The screen no longer stays on during workout. Plus the way it ends doesn't make sense. Nobody does low sers then one big one at the end. Its suficiente for learning. But the app feels half baked and incomplete like an afterthought app to accompany the others
App is good but needs work. The rest times are too long and to make it speed up you have to press on it every time rather then just being able to pre set a specific time. But I've only just started using this so not sure what else you can do with this app at present
The is a great app. You actually start really small and build up to the pro level. For some one like me who never saw the inside of a gym, getting to knows sets really help and also make the whole process doable. So break a leg.
It's a brilliant app, it's great for a beginner. I totally loved it. I'm also using their pushups and 5k running apps. Two weeks left to complete those too and it's great. I never worked out and I came across this app in lockdown and it has helped me so much.
It's a great app, but I have some criticisms: #1: there should be a cool down. #2: there should be longer warm up for more exercises. #3: there should be a longer rest for more exercises. #4: it keeps crashing my phone and making me restart it. #5: it should have reminders for you to do exercises. All in all, it is good!
Great app. I haven't figured out the timing on the workout reminders though - it would be nice if you could set the alert time and it would recalibrate (i.e. delay all workouts a day) if a session is missed for whatever reason.
Deceptively Simple. One would think that this is a very long process for a simple exercise, but from someone trying to get back in shape on the wrong side of 30, this has a good progression that still feels challenging.
I really like this app. I used the Situp version and I went to this. It really motivates me. The badges are good to enjoy your progress. It's simple but effective. I highly recommend it, especially to beginners that want to improve their fitness levels.
I am just starting to get exercise part of my daily life and doing the Zen challenge is how I'm starting. It is easy to do...to easy, but for me it's about completing it. So fantastic app because it has gotten me started.
Only on week 4, but enjoying the app so far . Nice build up . Only thing really missing is a guided warmup. I'm experienced enough to put one together , but beginners might not be and squatting without a good warmup can cause injury .
I think the Zen challenge series is great for those who are busy and need help slamming in a few activities through out the day. Personally I use these and 5 min planks, pull up bar at work have yet to start that one though.
Started this program 2 weeks ago,. I enjoy it so far. I use this between doing other exercises so it would be great to turn off the warm up period. Hope I make it through the other 6 weeks.
I enjoy all of the zen challenge.series. if i had a pullup bar i would use them all but alas. Also even if you are already really good at normal pushups you can use the progression on the app for diamonds, pseudo planche, even handstand pushups. Thank you much
Brilliant motivational tool. If I don't hit the reps I just repeat the session again the next day until I hit it then move on. Might not be for everyone but I think it would be silly to ignore this app if your target is increase your reps in Squat. The same company also do pull up, press up and sit up apps as well.
So far so good. My mistake with other apps by developer is pushing harder during the earlier stages. Stick to the routine and it will all work out to your goals.
Great app for making a habit of regular exercise. I am currently using all three of their workout apps including this one and push up, sit up being the other two. It keeps me motivated that atleast I am doing my part.
I was enjoying using several of your apps but unfortunately i kept getting Google pop up adds even when I wasn't using them and my settings were set to block Pop ups. I uninstalled all of them and haven't had any since.
This whole set of workout apps are so amazingly helpful to me. I can take them anywhere, and I need that as I work some long hours and travel in healthcare. I can do this as part of my morning routine, or if there isn't time I have it with me to use on my break. It helps me keep limber and I need to be stronger to do my job better. Really cuts down on having sore muscles at the end of the day, love it, Thanks! (I don't have ads)
