Although it doesn't change the IP address, it's good to use, especially, when a game is showing loading sign, if this 1.1.1.1 is connected, it doesn't show any loading sign and the game runs very smoothly. Also, it also unblocks some locally blocked websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Just one thing. Since it doesn't change the IP address, I don't think it's very safe to use in some countries where there's no freedom of speech. Otherwise, it just makes a good app.
The April update was actually effective. I've been using this app for the past few days, and it's working fine. I can now connect any time I want. You can try using this VPN whenever whenever a website doesn't load or shows an error even when your Internet is stable. After I connect with this VPN, I'm able to browse websites that previously showed an error like "404 - Bad gateway". Thank you so much for keeping this app free to use!
I am giving it 3 starts. Because when i used it 1st time it was great but after a reinstall it the problem begins. It is giving me the msg "An unexpected error occurred" i jave tried everything. But nothing seems to fix it. Other then that the app is great. If it's a bug please fix this and if its a device problem then please send me a solution. Thank you.
Great for better DNS on mobile networks or when traveling. The Trusted Networks feature however is very unreliable. When I am connected at home or work I always want to use my local DNS. Trusted networks should allow this, but it often doesn't detect the SSID in use until I toggle the switch. Needs work.
The regular version works well. The VPN aspect allows me to play videos without my carrier throttling. There was no effect on ping while playing mobile games. I decided to subscribe to the $5 a month for optimized traffic the result was significantly higher ping. Immediately unsubscribed and had to reset the app so I could just use free version again instead of the one I paid for. I ignored the negative online reviews of the + version and it cost me $5
Sorry but as much as I want to love this app, especially since I am an IT professional, it's simply more trouble than it's worth. It constantly blocks me connecting to so many sites including the play store and general news feeds. It also hangs telling me my home network is waiting for authorization. Great idea but definitely not ready for the real world
2022 March - worse than useless - false sense of security. It just stops. So I've stopped using for now. 2022 - update - randomly disappears! Not good! Also status doesn't always show up on icon bar! As for functionality - consider one only wants 1.1.1.1 to apply to a small number of apps - there's no way to manage easily. You have to tediously (introducing possibility of error) click dozens of boxes to exclude. 2021 - Original use. Good idea. Credible vendor. Problems with stability though.
I love the app when it actually works. I have the Motorola Stylus X & It used to work much much better until I had my automatic software update on my phone and now many many times a day(10+ times)Apps won't open up because of something with the 1.1.1.1 But once I hit pause for 15 mins my app(s) will load up. I've even uninstalled & reinstalled it a few times and restarted phone etc and it has even began starting to show the apps slider bar shows it clear/see through. I'm android 11 too
internet stops working periodically when this app is enabled and I'm forced to reset the app to get it working again. In addition to this they've now added a popup asking how long I want to turn it off for or pause it which is annoying when I just want to turn it off and on again. what used to be a quick 2 click process is now 4
The NXDomain Fallback option returns, but now the ability to reset security keys fails no matter what the user does. Connections are unstable requiring the user to disconnect and reconnect. Additionally, after the last update, speed has tanked dramatically, making page loading and streaming annoying.
I subscribed and try using it. When I use it my signal became weak and I have to continuesly disconnected and connected it again to refresh. And for some reason I have to restart my phone then it stopped working. I have to install VPN profile again but failed. I sent feedback through app but for how long I have to wait I don't know.
May or may not work depending on what you were looking for, but definitely watch out before you subscribe. Better find friends to do the refer for trial program instead of blindly trusting Cloudflare. Otherwise you'd be stuck with a service that has no support, no customer service, no human or bot response whatever channel it is that you try to contact them through.
I used to use this vpn for gaming all the time. It was gorgeous!!! Sadly, since two or three updates ago, it doesn't work. Game ping is crazy high the whole time and lags become too constant. You should check it, because it's a real shame!
It has made a real difference! It turns off too frequently and when I'm in my car using my mysic app, I have to disable it for my music or audiobook apps to work.
Great. But slows the AccuWeather app and sometimes (not always) GasBuddy app. But I switched to WeatherBug (way faster launch) and GasBuddy sometimes through the browser (much faster there, but not as organized as it's app). Those are the only issues.
I have noticed a speedup on my Pixel 6 Pro on T-Mobile. I would have liked if the app also provided connection with 1.1.1.2 mal-ware filtered service too. That extra bit of safety would be reassuring on Android.
This is my last resort after sending emails to the dev team without getting any feedback. One would expect better from a team within Cloudflare. App disconnects my internet service intermittently, sometimes: 1. saying my WiFi requires me to sign in when it doesn't. 2. even when status says "Connected. Your internet is private". Sometimes disconnecting and re-connecting works, sometimes it doesn't. Then I have to restart my phone. And if that doesn't fix it I have to remove and reinstall 😟
The app just suddenly stopped working on my network. I'm not sure what's the issue but even after reinstalling the app, I can't get through the consent screen and it says "An Unknown error has occurred"...
It's a Good app I use it for unblocking anime websites to watch anime since I'm usually g my schools Hotspot. But the only problem is that the app keep messing up like you press to connect then it'll of a sudden say comnect but be gray when you switch it on.
It's better than lightsail and ultrasurf. However, the reasons I gave 3 stars is that after using about 2 months, I have to reinstall the vpn. Worse, I can't allow the privacy policy of New VPN. But all in all, I would say this is a good vpn. I liked it but not god level yet.
Hello 1.1.1.1 VPN's Developer . This vpn has won my heart because it's mini size aap and easy to use but someday this aap has a bugs . I don't know it's bugs or error .so please fix this. Vpn is not working.its showing only "update information". it's not connecting.so please please please fix this . And it's only reason that I am giving four stars rating
WRAP not connecting, Its status continuously keep showing connecting but when you tap again it show all option while disconnecting with latest version 6.14(2355). Nothing resolved in latest version but works fine with wifi network
After Releasing of PUBG Mobile 2.0 version this vpn is not working like before. It takes time to connect . In game ping shows 60-80ms but that is not the actual. Please fix these kind of issues.
(Good with tech) Downloaded the app in good faith and connection was blocked randomly at 11:30am today. It's off now, will allow it access at some point to continue testing it. Unless they resolve this, I can not recommend this app to anyone. Stop selling out to Google people, they don't have your interests in mind. Can't imagine what Google FI customers are dealing with lol
Greta gui. Easy to use. But the connectivity... Not so much. It's pretty slow. And connecting to some sites take even half an hour which usually takes 10 sec.
I noticed lately that my phone was losing internet connection many times a day, whether under wifi or isp. After scouring the internet for a solution, I didn't find any. People either suggested to check wifi network, restart the phone (that worked, but not for all day), check Sim card, etc... Nothing worked. Suddenly I had the idea to disconnect my 1111 app, and all works well now! I think programmers should look seriously into this matter asap. Until then, I'll stay disconnected. Pity.
