#1 Profile - Auto Tasker

The "Mute/Vibrate/Do not disturb"'s silent mode shut off my alarm too! I missed my work! Then I use "Volume", but it goes to vibrate mode, no way to switch to silent, my phone is vibrating when twitter got notification, can't sleep!

Absolutely love this app. Powerful, simple to use, and 100% reliable. Excellent!

Thanks for answering my last review, and made the usage even better. Sometimes I add two or more pause actions to make it longer than 3 minutes, and I'd appreciate if you could update it for a longer time. I'd also appreciate to at least have the option to immediately close the push ads which compromises the usage experience instead of being obliged to watch them for 5 seconds, which also obliges me to close the app at times or even put on airplane mode before opening the app.

Not intuitive. Like for why you should add a function into a main profile vs adding it to one you're creating to AutoRun. It could have little pop-up helps. Plus it doesn't really explain exactly how to use/apply Priorities. I stumbled onto it, like most things in the app. Looked at the FAQ, but no real help. It's written assuming a familiarity with the app's layout. Once learned, it's excellent though! Powerful! It does what it does well! I even paid the $20 Lifetime. (Ouch!)

A very good idea for an app and a quite good implementation. Anyway, sometimes I find on my phone (S7 Edge, Android 8) that rules are triggered unexpectedly, changing the status of the phone when it's not expected. I would consider buying the ad-free version if this is solved.

So far it's being perfect. I wanted a simple app to just set the ringer volume down and disable the vibrate when at home and at night. Set the ringer to a normal volume and enable vibration when at home at daytime. Set the ringer to a medium-low volume when at work and the vibration on, and set the ringer volume to Max and vibration on when outside. This app does that. Really nice one. Still testing it to make sure everything works as expected.

Doesn't work for me at all. I have to manually trigger the rules I've set, although it does seem to occasionally reset the rules when the conditions are no longer met. The fact that I need to trigger the rules is essentially a no-go for me (I was looking mostly to make my phone to automatically to Silent once it connected to my work WiFi, for information).

Very useful and user-friendly app. Reminds me of that era, jailbreaking(rooting) iphones and installing Cydia, activator etc. Not that much freedom but still makes life bit easier. Strongly recommend for all android user.

Makes this power user very happy. It takes a while to customize this, but once it's done it works very well. I can now press a button to set each of 5 use cases, and I don't need to fiddle with multiple settings any more. Would like to see a red screen option for night use.

Everything I wanted to do needed Root access. Enable Root access on your phone and the phone warranty is voided and banking apps stop working! Not much use then, so subscription cancelled and app uninstall.

Awesome app! It helps me every day. Easy to set up. Easy to use. It automatically silences my phone for meetings (by looking at my calendar) and for bedtime (by looking at the day & time), etc. It automatically adjusts settings when I get in any of my vehicles (sees bluetooth). I love it!

An excellent and reliable app. Well laid out and an app I would recommend to someone else. My complaint...the pro version is wildly expensive. $20 or some subscription? That's mental. They're likely pricing themselves out of the market and it's a shame. If it was a more sensible amount, I would definitely buy it. But the sale price of $15.99? A big fat "nope" from me.

Quite impressive that it really works and it's free. However, the app always turns on the Bluetooth itself in my Samsung S21+ without asking the user and surely the app doesn't require it for the functionality. It is a big concern for privacy issue.

Oppo Reno automatically change the profile from energy saving to max performance. specifically on screen brightness and idle time (auto screen off). I installed this app specifically to override that default behaviour. But after multiple configuration combinations during the last month of use, nothing works.

I had Phone Profiles Plus, which was good, but that developer insists on users getting updates OUTSIDE of the protection of Google Play - No No !!! So turned to aProfiles and it is brilliant. Like all phone profiles apps, you need to spend a little time understanding the app and experimenting, but you get the rewards. I paid for the lifetime license to get access to the 1x1 Quick Profile Switch (size of an icon). Also made an enhancement suggestion which was implemented in 1 week !! A++-+

Exactly what I wanted in a profile app, although some of the default setup was a little confusing at first. I'm not a fan of subscriptions, but it's at least a reasonable price here with an option for lifetime of that's what floats your boat.

I love this app! It is by far the most useful one I have on my phone. I first installed it about 3 years or so ago. At that time I paid for the pro ad free version. Now I have ads again. Does this mean I will have to pay a second time for pro? Update: My apologies! Thanks for the response Sam. Apparently I did not pay for pro on this app. Apparently the ads are a new thing... never saw them before. Anyway, I will upgrade now. Thanks for a great product!

Fantastic app and one I have been searching for ever since I came off Blackberry! Remember their profiles? That is what I have wanted on my android devices since then and this app does all of that and much more - plus it's very cleanly designed and just works - lots of customisations too. And if that wasn't enough, when I emailed the developer with a request to add some more icons for the profiles - he got back to me within a day and two days later he added the icons I requested! Amazing!

Interface is deficient and/or inoperable: can add times with one press but no option to delete it? Wanted something to toggle airplane mode on at night but it seems to strange to make it do anything. ... If the interface is such that basic functions cannot be located then how would log files help?

I started using this app because Tasker lately has a few things it won't do. This app is very basic automation and it does it well. My four star rating is due to just how basic it is. I may eventually find ways to accomplish what I want and completely replace Tasker however until then, only 4*. I look forward to watching this app grow.

No longer able to detect connected Wi-Fi. App struggles to function with the ads that were added recently (usimg pixel 3). All of them, even the banner ads, are loud and flashing. When the full screen ads kick in the volume is increased to max overriding profile.

Very good idea! But when I manually activate one of my custom profiles (low ringer volume for when I'm in quieter environments) it automatically reverts to the previous state after a few hours.
