The two stars are for the content which is very good. Unfortunately though it doesn't work well on my phone, the strength exercise section has now frozen completely twice, rendering the whole app unusable. The first time it happened I had to reinstall the app, losing all my data, just to make the app work again. Its just happened again this morning so I may have to stop using it. Disappointing.

Poorly designed. The inability to enter data manually makes this app virtually useless to me. For one, I don't want to take my phone out with me on a run. You should be able to record runs using your own method (e.g. fitness watch) and enter your results into the app. With the strength tests, you can just end the exercise immediately and input your results. This should be the case with the cardio. I'm giving 3 * because the strength workouts are actually useful. I'd go on but I'm out of space.

Awesome app for free, the levels and the assessment tests keep you motivated. Would get 5 stars, but there's some bugs, for example in interval training, even if I didn't finish it, it said, I finished it and let me level up. At the moment I have the problem that I finished every exercise of level 4 100%,but it says I have only 50%cardio,and doesnt let me level up.

Same problem as everyone else. I had to run a total of 5k on my assessment, which meant I ended up at Level 1. On the app settings page you can now change your level manually within a certain category, so I can access level 3. However "intermediate" is locked, so if the assessment fails again, I will be stuck here. I often lose signal in my local park, but that has to be expected when you're running outside. Please - if it's a hard problem to fix technically, let us fix the problem manually!

Crashed twice, and the GPS froze a 3rd time while trying to complete the fitness test. It's a shame you can't enter you're own run time, but must use the GPS. Don't have any issues with other running apps which use GPS, so something is broken in the app. Also, even if your fitness exceeds the levels, you can't go past the first intermediate stage unless you complete the workouts.

It's an excellent app - when it works. Unfortunately since the latest update every time I lock my phone the app closes - which makes cardio exercises near impossible. there's no option to manually imput cardio assessment results either, which means I can't do any more fitness assessments. Also, the first second of the audio is cut off for every instruction. Also there's no option to report bugs so I'm having to resort to a review!

I have found this app to be really helpful in improving my all round fitness. I have started to use the app again after recovering from a knee injury and I am impressed with the new layout and the other few changes. My one concern at the moment is that anytime I press the train button it instantly crashes the app and I really hope that this issue gets fixed

Great app The app is great for training and hitting all necessary muscle groups without needing equipment. I woild definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to join the Army or even general people wanting to keep fit. Only one small complaint, after doing a session scheduled for a day, it sometimes does not save the progress in the actual schedule plan. Other than that, the app functions very well and is easy to use, great helper for training.

App is good in theory but practically it isn't! During my 1.5 mile run the app didn't measure the distance properly and so recorded a time several minutes after I had completed 1.5 miles. The assessment was a good process but now everytime I try to complete my training schedule the app freezes! All this said, it has the potential to be a big help to people wanting to join the military!

This app is a great idea and the support and guidance is brilliant. However, I have now attempted to do the basic Army assessment 3 times and three times the app has crashed and not recorded my results. There do seem to be several glitches in the app as well. For example, I am unable to alter my profile and the calandar in the app believes that i am a week behind. I was really hoping this app would help keep me focussed for the next 10 weeks as i work up to assessment.

It is a great guide and I can feel the improvements in fitness. 10 out of 10 would recommend: both to future recruits and those who just want to get fit. I give 4 star instead of 5 star because although the app can work in the background and audio still tells you what to do, at times it stops without warning or making sure you are still using the app… which means non of your results are recorded this session. If the app developers are reading this, try to change this for user convenience

like others have mentioned, this app has potential, but things like GPS not working really let it down. Both of my running sessions state that I have run 23 miles, which in 10/15 minutes is clearly an error. One quick fix the developer could easily do is to check if the recorded distance is realistic and if not tell user there's a problem and ask for manual distance. GPS distance is ideal, but at least allow us to override bad readings.

I really like this app, I use it 4 days a week and always feel like it not only gives a good work out but tells you to keep improving so you can reach higher levels and I'm liking the new assesment session feature to test yourself. One thing I am having trouble with is the running feature on the app, I turned off my phone screen when outside and it didn't log any of the distance I travelled until I turned it back on. Another issue I'm stuck on level 3 when I've reached 100% please fix this.

Love this app, just can't give a high score because the GPS is way off. Just did the 2.5km assessment run. The problem is that when I had finished the distance (which I know is exactly 2.5km) the app is only saying I did 1.8km and wants me to keep going. There's no way to stop it or adjust manually, so it registers a reduculously slow time because it's added almost a kilometre to the course, but only calculating for 2.5km... Very frustrating.

Does what it says on the tin. If the strength sessions could be a littlw varied at all that would be nice. Mainly though, it crashes quite frequently which can get frustrating mid run when you have to restart with the warm up. It'd be nice if you sync your progress with the cloud so you can use various devices (e.g. you have two phones or switch phones).

The only reason I marked 4 was because I increased the no. of times I train a week. I knew it would change the schedule, I did not realise it would start my training plan all over again. I was due to do an in-app assessment this week but because I changed the training, that's now been pushed back to three weeks. When I tried to change it back it still started it again. This was frustrating as I'm now not able to assess my progress using the app and can't do one whenever I want using the app.

The strength workouts are good . With good in app motivation. But the cardio is poor as does not allow you to put in manually.or link to Garmin or strava etc would be a bonus as goes into pause when screen saver kicks in having to keep stopping to check it during a run is a pain especially in the rain. Come on get this sorted and it will be a brill app

Lau. W. May 19, 2019

This app is great, HOWEVER after a recent update, its seen me lose all of the progress I've had over the past week and its reset my week to start on the 20th (tomorrow) for some strange reason, VERY annoying when you only had one cardio session left to move onto the next level. Especially when the app is preparing you for assessment, it puts a massive dent in the training, it would be fine if i could re log all my stuff again but it wont let me... Shame really.

Good but needs a few tweaks Looks good for absolute beginner, would be good to set your own standard, or see the standards to achieve the elite/ higher ones? Also needs a way to run the assessment over and again to count up until failure ? Tried using it playing out of a speaker to hear the cadence timings but stopped at 12! Needs a few tweaks but overall really good. Would love to help develop it further, rejoin time 😉 Billy PTI.HULL
