I began writing I as part of my psychiatric therapy and found I could communicate more easily in writing than verbally. Unfortunately, daily events intruded & my writing nearly stopped. When recent events seemed to overwhelm, a friend suggested writing again. I felt stuck without inspiration. This app was suggested as a starting point & it has been wonderful. I'm finding my voice again. I would recommend this for beginners or others who need a nudge to start again.
Prompts are good but as is, this app would probably function better as a website. It's all static pages with no interactivity. Even if there was an option for the user to check off that they've completed a prompt or automatically move to the next prompt each day would be great.
Just started using it but it's very good. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because they is no option to remove adds that I can find and an add pops up every time you move to a new page. This gets quickly annoying. But the app itself is great.
Simple set up, but very good. A lot of prompts to choose from. Isn't colorful like the pics show, but since it is like a list I think that's better than the pics.
I usually don't rate apps but this one is really, really useful. I don't do writing prompts but these ones are great, insightful, and creative. I thank you so much for the assortment you gave and all for free. Truly an app worthy of keeping.
I opened the app and was given an ad Not going to even explore the rest of the app given that opening it gives you an ad That says at lot I'm sure it'll be helpful to some one else Edit It's not helpful to me It's well written in a "you're a beginner in writing and I know it's hard when your not a professional" sort of way but it could be helpful to some Just not what I was looking Also explanation on how to use a writing prompt doesn't count as of writing prompt ITS EXPLANATION
Unbelievable disciplined daily motivation for any writer who stalls. I've tried so many tools over the years to no avail. This one works and it works well. Highly recommended!
The prompt sections are not labelled by genre type. A lot of the prompts are cliche or cringe-worthy. organisation, layout and look could be greatly improved.
I love love love this app. It has helped me write so many short pieces when I was stuck and frankly sometimes I like to just scroll through the ideas to entertain myself. Some of them are actually so good that I can't even attempt to use them myself because they are too good for me 😂. I really do recommend this app. I have had it ever since I first downloaded it and I really do love it
It breaks down writing from basics to advanced. The prompts are creatively engaging. Wish the promos come with the space to write within the app.
This app has a lot of good ideas to get you up and writing again. Even a chance of a single idea behind this app to give you an idea for a story. I say that, like that for a reason. By this app it's a good idea maker. For a thought to create a story to write or other pieces of literature to write like a flash fiction piece. It deserves 5 stars. Thanks to the creator.
The app doesn't even match the pictures shown. I was expecting to just be give a prompt not a page of 50 and it looks like something a teacher would hand out with 0% creativity with the design of the app.
I like this app as it gives me the option to think outside the box and helps to me with my writer's block whenever I happen to get stuck with any idea.
If it weren't for the ads I'd give a better rating but the ads make this app annoying not useful. Otherwise prompts are interesting and kinda cool to work with
So many prompts! So many in fact that you can cycle through them and get ideas from ones you didn't get ideas from before.
I love the varied topics and kinds of writing sections. Would love a favorites button to save prompts I'd like to come back to
Clickbait (or download bait I guess), the images shown for the app is not what it looks like for the actual app. It makes no sense whatsoever and yeah
Love the idea behind the app however there are so many ads you can't explore the app to find a prompt to use

I love this app! 😍 You can pick and choose between countless prompts created by fellow users to write a short story to, and get feedback and praise once you do. You can suggest your own prompts, read others' stories, and contribute to a small but wonderful community of budding writers. Everyone's very kind (including the staff!) and all in all it's just a lovely place to create and experience stories and more.
