An amazing game with an honest price, played it a while ago and recently decided to download again, truly nostalgic experience! I encountered a weird bug, selecting all potions at once (thought it might be an achievement) made the last one, Potion of Holdfast, impossible to disable. Can select every other option but not that one. Please fix it if possible!
Played ages ago, seemed ok, started playing again recently, thought I had no idea how to open all the doors, then realized its just a resource requirement. Got lots of upgrades and finally making progress and having a lot of fun. It would help if there was a screen for instructions, as there is nothing to tell you what anything is or does.
The games fun and all but the battle concept needs work. For someone who had a hard time with eyesight, it makes it beyond difficult to figure out which row/column needs to be moved to where
This game drives me bananas. I really want to throw my phone across the room. If the upgrades do anything it's unclear and as you move up in levels it just becomes annoyingly difficult. I'm not saying it's impossible it's just ridiculous. I thought maybe the game is just not my thing - but it has all the elements of casual games that I enjoy. The price is low, but if I consider the price of smashing my phone it's way too expensive.
This game absolutely phenomenal puzzle game with a really bad name. I highly recommend it for the innovative match-3 system that makes the game so satisfying to play. However, as I am writing this review in 2022, I have to mention that the sequel You Must Build A Boat plays incredibly similarly but is more polished and has a much more appealing flavor. Both of them are completely worth your time, but if you don't know which one you want to play you should buy YMBAB.
Almost perfect. The long, slow bars that fill up when I upgrade are entirely pointless and waste time. Otherwise, it's an amazing phone game.
Over the last few years I've downloaded this game on 3 different devices and play through start to finish. The gameplay is a fun twist on traditional tile matching games, the visuals are an interesting but simple style which I appreciate and there are no ads present when playing. It's everything I could personally ask for from a mobile games and that's why I keep coming back to it. This game is 1 in 10000000.
Pretty enjoyable game. Easily got my money's worth. (6-8 for main content, happy to return to the game to kill time etc.) More music/soundtracks would be nice. I hope there's a sequel one day. NOTE TO DEVS: I "finished" the game (purchased all upgrades and escaped) but didn't unlock ANY of the Google Play achievements. Any ideas why? (Account is linked etc.)
One of the best games I've played on a phone. AND it's done with ANY greedy microtransactions or "pay-to-win" nonsense. It's a great little distraction game for 20 minutes at a time. It is one of those games that is grindy, but the grind is fun. Bravo developer(s)?
The core mechanic is good but there's not much else to it. The main game lasts 3 hours and then it's over, basically a dollar per hour of playtime. It needs a new game plus mode and at least one other mechanic to be worth more than any other free game. 2 starts because it's a unique take on the regular bejeweled system that could be worth something if the entire game was just the first part of something bigger.
I keep coming back to this game because, frankly, it's addicting. Was put off at first because of the pixel art style that struck me as "cheap" but after playing, this game has tons of polish and the art style became more endearing over time. It's a solid puzzle Roguelike game, so if that's what you are into, then pick this up. Pros: +Great for short play sessions +Great blend of Puzzle and Roguelike +Music and Sounds are satisfying Cons: None
It's strange how appealing this game is to me. The matching, rpg element and progression is fun, and it has a retro look and sound that brings me back. Also like to be able to play it in short bursts when I'm not busy. So maybe it's just a good combination of things.
Very Good. A match-puzzle game that is good for turning off your brain and relaxing, BUT also certainly holds up if you prefer to focus on strategy and progression. Also no obnoxious ads or random notifications. Glad I gave it a shot.
This is a row/column sliding Match-3 game with fast pacing, RPG themes, and a large amount of progression. Only issue I've had is that none of the Google Play achievements unlock correctly -- litetally 0 of 14, likely an issue due to playing midair/offline regularly that the devs didn't anticipate. Still, one of my fav Match-3 games.
I played this game maybe 7 years ago and it's been the only mobile game to keep my attention to beat it. I got it for free through the Amazon app then, but buying it now just to see what they've added. Probably going to buy their other games if they're offline as well.
It's fun, challenging, easy to pick up randomly, and genuinely enjoyable. The retro throwback graphics and music is nice too, albeit not everyone's flavor. It's worth the price.
Same concept as You Must Build a Boat and a little richer environment but I got a refund after about ten minutes. The game layout is such a mess and very hard to see what's what. too frustrating to waste time with.
Good game, albeit a bit short. Kept me addicted while it lasted. The graphics are simple but who needs them? Gameplay is great, rules are simple and the UI is very intuitive. Great soundtrack too.
A fantastic puzzle experience with compelling gameplay and a defined ending. You can beat this game, and it's extremely fun and satisfying to do so.
Took ne 3 hours to finish, great fun all the way through. Despite it being random chance based gameplay, it was still great challenging fun. Definitely worth the price.
great fun. love the game and the developer. after unlocking the last potion, bottom right, you cant deactivate it. achievements werent unlocking either.
Pretty poor for a paid game. Unimaginative matching is the primary gameplay, coupled with pay-for-progress mechanics lifted straight from free games. Waited too long to try it after buying so couldn't get refund. Disappointed as this has a lot of praise for some reason. EDIT: emailed support and they told me too bad
One of the best match 3 games you'll find. The lack of microtransactions and RPG-like elements add a lot to the gameplay.
Awesome match game. No timers or health its about speed. Action plays out above your tiles making this like no other. There is a part 2 of sorts called You Must Build A Boat. I would say play this one first for sure, but the second is even better. 💙
Just finished the game in a few hours. It was a solid experience and it kept me hooked until I finished it. The goal is to get to 10 milion points so you can escape the dungeon. You have to match 3 or more of the same elements (swords, staves, wood, stone, keys and shields) there is a bit of RNG in it but if you think a bit before your move, you'll be fine. 5 stars.
