101 - New Room Escape Games

Absolutely awful. I did the first 2 puzzles & it's just terrible. Trying to find what is clickable is so difficult, at one point I had to just start clicking the screen in a grid pattern to make sure I wasn't missing info only to have the hint show that there was a tiny drawer in the kitchen. In the 2nd puzzle it asks for a 4 digit code that you don't uncover anywhere. And another puzzle is suppose to be the number of books in each stack but the color of books don't match the input place.

I like the game. It makes me think and process information better. But, I was able to click on the coins button and get more coins on the first puzzle now it won't let me in. I hate having to watch the ads for a hint when, if I could, get coins this wouldn't be such an announce to me. This is the biggest complaint I have.

This is one of the better escape room logic puzzle games I have found that is free. I am only on the 30th level and I have been playing for over a week and plenty of more to play. I only give it four stars because there have been a few puzzles the do not make sense to me and had to use a hint. Plus the hint system needs some work.

I like the games concept. But it could make a little more sense. Meaning make the clues where we can actually find or figure it out. Also when I press for hints it doesn't work most of the time. Even if I have coins. Also when I try to purchase more coins I cannot. So fix them bugs and the game will be perfect in my opinion

Well, when I first started the puzzle rooms, it was giving me puzzles that I had to work at in order to solve. However, I'm now on room 119, and I'm finding puzzles that are way too easy to solve for the room number. I thought the difficulty was suppose to increase as the number increases, not the other way around. That's just lazy dev work. If you can come up with challenging puzzles for the lower number rooms and then run out of ideas, then maybe you shouldn't be making so many escape rooms.

Good premise, could be a great game but there are a LOT of gremlins in multiple levels. For example, not being able to collect each step without having to press blindly around the item would be appreciated. Also certain steps just plain won't work and you have to use your coins to get "hints" to make them do what they're supposed to.

Very frustrating. Even if you've figured out what needs to be done, you can't access most objects without buying a hint... and then magically what you've been trying to do or access can be done or accessed. For most objects you've got to watch a 30 second ad. Not a fair or fun "GAME". They're playing the game on YOU.

I really like the game, its challenging, the different levels are creative, and its fun finding little cameos of tv shows or movies. The reason i gave it 2 stars is because the game seems to be riddled with bugs. The sound and music you can turn on or off. Mine just doesn't work. When you have to drag a tool to the puzzle sometimes you have to drag all over the picture until its in the right spot to take. And a few other things. Its frustrating and makes me not want to play this game.

Very frustrating and losing coins too quickly. This 2nd version, it's layout and design are very confusing, hard to follow clues. Even the hints button is poorly planned. Before, you knew by seeing a close up that you could click on the clue hint for 5 coin. Now, it's too vague and I'm wasting too many coins on just one area in the room. This is happening on every level. I've had to skip a few levels due to Not being able to watch a walkthrough. Where is the walkthrough video?

Graphics need improvement. There is just too much that it is so hard to see what's going on with some of the levels. The hints are worthless and you should lose coins for it highlighting the arrow. That's not a hint. I love escape rooms and there are some good ones. But there is a lot of glitches. I have to click multiple times on one spot for it to open or grab and item. I've even clicked on a spot several times and nothing. Then later on it opens it up to an object. Shouldn't be so glitchy

Happy and sad. Some games such as the scientists/inventors was great, while other ones we not clear enough. It is quit the challenge. I like it. 11-7-19 Still playing. I skip some levels, especially the modern house escape. They didn't have many items to gather. I like gathering and putting things together. So... some are delightful while others are not as fun. To each their own style. Have fun with the style you enjoy.

The game is marginally interesting, as was the first edition, so I give it a star; but the syntax of the sentences in the first page and the sometimes confusing paths to solving a lot of the puzzles clearly mark the developers' english as a second language. No problem for me, but it might help HFG's bottom line if they brushed up on the language and thought more "american" in the US market. Great try, though! Keep growing and improving and you'll be fine.

Great game! Well thought out, not simplistic. Very clever, challenging, new avenues, a variety of interesting turns and scenarios. Never been stuck but thanks for the offer of help. Lots of avenues to follow through each level. Love that i can usually fit a quick game in here and there in my day, casually takes me from 10 minutes to 20 depending on the level's complexity. I'm be into level 116 next.

Thanks! Addictive game & mostly well constructed. No ads in middle of level play. Narrative could be better written. Clues are not always intuitive or feel related, felt as if developer wants you to see ads for coins. Some puzzles felt too much, but its too many coins to skip. Then there is a padlock you have to press most times after you enter an answer. It's very useful where it fills up & unlocks itself, but it is unnecessary where the player has to hit it. E. G. Entering a number code.

Most levels are good, some are great! However, (around) the last 100 levels have objects that are almost impossible to see and then the object combinations do not make sense. On the last 100 levels I was blindly tapping on the screen to find objects, and then testing every combination of objects until they combined. It was not as fun as the other 400 levels.

the game itself is actually pretty decent. each level has plenty to do in it but not too long that you lose interest. some levels have too much going on but there plenty levels do just skip the ones you don't like. I've just uninstalled it though as everyone i clicked a certain object in some levels, it froze. and on other levels it just wouldn't click. ended up getting frustrated with it

Fun and addicting. The only problem I came across was some of the puzzles wouldnt solve so I had to skip them. I know I put in the correct answer because I looked it up and also would use the hints. Other than that it was good. When I stated before that I looked up the answer I meant using the walkthroughs. I would use the same answer that unlocked the puzzle on the walkthrough but did nothing for me.

I am enjoying this series of games, great graphics and not too complicated. I have had to use quite a few hints to locate items which I seem to miss and some of the puzzles could do with an explanation of what to do in order to solve them. All in all though, for a free game, it is great.

Very fun and challenging! Some puzzles are very unclear even with hints. Ads are very minimal. I love how difficult it is so you actually have to try. Some games like this are so easy you are done with the entire game within a few days, not this one. I love it!

Better designed than some, but the screen is too often unresponsive to taps, and even when it does recognise that you're tapping, it's often far too precise in where it wants you to touch. I persisted until just now when it doesn't even acknowledge that I'm tapping the Hint button so I'm completely stymied - but funnily enough, it quite happily still shows ads when you touch the + button! No puzzles however brilliant are worth this much struggle, uninstalling. REPLY: Where? EVERYWHERE!

Reasonably enjoyable game however frustrating as clues are inconsistant. Either you get the answer immediately or it tells you a puzzle you know you need to solve without actually giving any hint as to how to. Asking for extra clues only ends up in it repeating without helping. Have left games incomplete level 35&47 (now more) for the same reason. *UPDATE* Thanks for your response but you clearly didn't look at the screenshots I sent showing you where in particular I was stuck.

It's fun but annoying at times. You waste coins for hints and it shows you what to click on but you can't click on it. It's a waste. I would've never used a coin because I already clicked on that area before but wouldn't let me. There's just some glitches in the game but I guess if you want to leave a few games left incomplete so be it. Plenty more to complete

This is the second best "escape" game out there. The first is the orginal 501. The only problem I have is ads freezing and having to exit the game entirely. I must do this several times a session and it gets pretty annoying. Fix this and I'll change to a 5 star rating. Great game though.

I love this game. It's fun and relaxing and makes me think more "outside the box" and I can solve the levels at my own pace and not have to start over if I leave the game. I'm giving it 3 stars because I was in the middle of solving level 76 and the game closed itself out and when I reopened it it had reset itself

I loved the first version of this game and am loving this new one however, i have used hints watched videos and on level 29 there is a section where there are 4 sections of 4 individual boxes that i must press certain boxes to make a pattern in order to open the cupboard to progress in the game, but no matter what i do it never opens. i have watched countless videos and have put in the same combination each time but it wont open. other then this little hiccup great game.

Got as far as level 2. To progress you need to use a stick to push a chandelier aside. I have watched walk-through video half a dozen times to see exactly where and how to do this. Impossible. After many many attempts.. Will uninstall - not worth investing more time.

I don't know what happened to my previous review. I enjoy the game, however it is set up to make you use hints. I can tap every inch of the screen, or tap on a clue and nothing will happen unless I use a hint first. This happens on almost every level. It's not difficult. It's a glitch in the game, or it's set up that way by the developer on purpose. If a corner has a clue, and I tap the corner, the game will sometimes show no hint in that corner unless it's shown after using a hint.
