Freeze's. Edit...Not freezing anymore after updating.. I was about to delete it when I noticed it was running quicker/properly... I checked it out and it was smooth as could be..thank you..Now it's a 6 star! Rock n Roll !!!..I use it everyday now. It has an alarm built in. I wake up to Dave n Chuck the Freak every Freakin' day! What more could ya want? Bunch of contests and what not... It's pretty sweet. I totally recommend it! If you like WFIF.. You'll like it more with the App.
The app is OK, but I have noticed that it auto runs whenever my phone restarts and I can't prevent it from running or starting in the background. Even after turning off all notifications and denying permissions it still shows up near my notification area. I feel that I should be able to prevent this app from accessing my device when I don't want it to and thus am not a fan and may delete the app because of this.
It freezes and won't play where you left off. This is a DAILY issue. I'm constantly Uninstaller and reinstalling. You have plenty of time to fix it during one of the MANY vacation weeks.
App sleeps while phone is closed. I'm not sure what's going on now. The app hasn't updated but my phone did. After about 30secs of the screen being off the sound cuts out. As soon as you turn the screen on it picks right back up.
App plays day old content!! I feel like I'm in groundhog day! It saysive but it has been a day behind. Also if your alarm goes off or anything else happens on phone it shuts it off. Wonderful when I'm in shower and my alarm goes off then I can't restart the app.
Constantly stops working. Whenever my screen times out, the podcast or live stream stops. Very annoying. I've adjusted settings but cannot fix it. Other apps I have for streaming content do not have this problem.
This app is a lot better than the previous one, but when I'm listening to the DaCTF podcast and pause it, it will restart the podcast when I hit play again. If this were fixed I'd give 5 stars.
I love the WRIF, but I hate their app! I keep having to uninstall and re-install it every 3rd use or it won't play the live show in the morning. It will continue playing what was on the last show played, not the current one playing. PLEASE FIX YOUR BUGGY APP! Thank you. Edit 10/25/2021 App won't download. Just sits and spins. Arrgh!!!
The only reason I used the older version was to download podcast. I can't do that anymore. Just use google play music or downlaod from the iTunes store. Probably wont be coming back to use the app again.
It was a 5 star app in my book, until it started opening itself and running in the background all day. It randomly pops up on my notification bar but never plays any music while being there? Uninstalling until this is fixed or explained
The app works, but I find it annoying that every day I have to restart my phone in order for it to work again. You can't just close it out and open it back up and use it like you should be able to do. It's like it needs a hard reset with each use.
Wish they would update this app because it crashes ever time everyday. I haven't even listened for 15 min and it's stopped mid podcast abut 10 times then it will start ever eveytime.
D&C podcast is always a pain to get working ever since they fixed the resume play issue. You would think a radio station would have a flawless radio streaming/podcast app.
How she goin' eh!?!? Having Dave and chuck LIVE streaming trouble? HIGHLY recommend this app👌🏿 " FM Radio: Live Radio AM/FM Simple Radio App " free and only seconds behind actual radio time... AND has a sleep timer up to 240 mins... (How appropriate...) Still love 101 WRIF and support u guys 100% for keeping the Dave and Chuck podcast alive in Detroit
Works half the time and consistently changes between two feeds usually during an epic song cutting it off for a meh one. Not impressed but least i can somewhat enjoy the wrif while working away.
I have this app only for Dave and Chuck the Freak, it's so annoying that I have to re-load it to the episode I was previously listening to every day. Terrible app, but great content
Starting a few weeks ago, I'm no longer able to download podcasts. I hit the download arrow, it looks like it'll download, then it goes back to the arrow. Where I am in the podcast gets reset to 0:00 all the time now. I deleted the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone again and that didn't fix it.
