10TV WBNS

Went into settings and I turned off auto play on videos. Worked for the news stories but there are flashy ads and of course ad videos still play. Way too much on screen and movement. In the middle of a story I have to scroll past a video. I do not like it. Would ONLY use for weather alerts, but I can't choose weather only. Oh and yes an ad is on top of the radar flashing away. Way too much. How many ads do you need? Do not recommend at all. Website instantly made me think of Channel 6.

The new app is finally available, days after they said it was and took down the previous one. But it still looks unfinished. The settings don't seem to change anything. The ads have doubled. The videos are slow. And the weird lined background is reminiscent of a myspace page's need to fill all space. It's organized and chaotic. I've used this app for local news since I moved to central Ohio but it's time to find a new source. I recommend spending the money from your extra ads on better editors.

Unsure of the new design. The old design, while not looking as attractive as the new design, was simple and straight to the point. Overall, not digging the new format. Also, make your setting toggles indicate on/off in some manner. Is the setting on or off? Left or right? It's the same color regardless of where the toggle is.

Not user friendly. The old layout was much easier. This one takes extra time to load and you can't navigate as easily. May we please have the old format back? I don't want to go somewhere else for my local news. Update: I had to delete this app. I tried to give it a shot, but the new app is just something I really don't like and navigating is just not user friendly. I love WBNS for my news and will still watch in the mornings, but can't do the app. Sorry.

After almost 8 months I have yet to find the site as easy to navigate as the old one. Granted, it could be used error but I don't find it as user friendly just prettier to look at. I have customized it for my notifications & interests. I know I don't visit the app as often as I did before the "upgrade". Guess "it is what it is" and will just have to learn to live with it.

This is not a user friendly app. It tells you that you can check out the top stories and swipe to the next story and just when you get to the story you want it flips to something else or changes to another pop up. I have uninstalled this app twice because it takes too much time and effort to get information that is needed.

When opened, app takes forever to load. With all the adds in app, I scroll down to look at more headlines and the app scrolls back up. When I go back after reading a story, the app takes me to the beginning instead of the article headline I was reading. I would expect more from the news leader in the area. Frustrating but informative

Where are the things we use a news app for? Live traffic cameras? The "breaking news alerts" aren't listed on the app even though the link from the breaking news takes you to the app. Things mentioned on the newscast aren't linked anywhere (the "lighter" side of things like recipes, local newsmakers, pets of the week...) - the newscasters trek you to go to the link, but nothing is there. The ads load/pop up continuously/randomly and move the screen up and down, leading to confusion and tapping on the wrong story or even an ad.

I want to start off with WBNS News is solid! The criticisms I have are strictly about the app itself. The latest app is garbage! The previous version of the app allowed you to see multiple sroties from the main page. Ads were a consistent size and at consistent intervals. It worked perfectly albeit not uber flashy and fancy. The version running now disallows you from seeing stories, pushes ads. I dont want flashy apps, I want the NEWS

The new 10TV App will not load on my Android device, says it's not compatible. I loaded it on my Samsung phone, now have uninstalled. I much prefer the old App. The new one is a resource hog with excessive graphics and slow. It's also pushing alerts out on my Samsung and all the notifications appear to be set to Off.

The new app is a big downgrade in layout. The old app was very convenient, allowing many headlines to be viewed on one screen, allowing easy access to the articles you want to view. Now you have to scroll endlessly to view the same headlines.

Love the news itself, but the app is unbearable. Stutters when scrolling due to constant barrage of ads. Sometimes I'll try to click on a story and end up selecting an ad that just popped up instead. Plz fix, it's been like this for way too long.

Notifications slow my Samsung opp system down, and the app makes my phone heat up. It's worse when I cut on my WiFi or data on after hours of inactivity. I often have to restart my phone because of this app. Despite that, I do like the timeliness of the breaking news delivered to my phone.

I follow 10TV every day. Since the new updated app, I have had a lot of problems with it. At least half the time I click on it, it begins to open, then closes out. Sometimes a second time. And WAY too many advertisements.

App for Andriod users is broken. Will not work. Link from 10tv site only brings Andriod users back to the old app page. Sent email to 10tv's Digital Feedback. Will still be watching 10tv news will just be on Facebook and television. Talked with a friend that has an iPhone and the new app is working for him. I have had the app for years and never had any issues with it.

Horrible news app! Don't waste time installing. Pointless side-swipes to see the next article. Too many disruptive commercials ads. Makes it tiresome trying to catch up on the real news. I liked the older version better.

New app is riddled with ads to the point that you can't even read the headlines without the ads refreshing and taking you back to the very top before you can even finish reading one. Also very disappointed with the categorized news versus latest news first.

I miss the old app design. This new layout is a lot more convoluted and redundant. It makes catching up on the news a lot harder and makes me worry I'm going to miss a big story b/c of the layout.

They said there is an update for both Android and iOS, neither seem to be good links. Was not a very user friendly app to begin with. Will be uninstalling permanently. Can't share news articles with friends or to social media. Waste of time to download.

As usual they can't leave a good thing alone. Bloated app with ads galore. The old app was much simpler and useful. Not a fan of the large pictures and having to scroll forever to see the news... Guess I'll switch to something else

if you want to see what the radar shows you have to suffer through annoying commercials first. this is a new addition to the app-which I recently deleted. I downloaded channel 6. no commercials! I also emailed the gm for 10tv about the commercial before the radar. he never responded. apparently he doesn't care.

This app only shows commercials when you click on the videos to watch a segment. It never goes to the segment of news just replays commercial over and over. Very disappointing.

Needs more features and controls to be more personalized to one individual's liking

It's terrible ! I get notification of important live info ...but to see/hear it there are at least 4 commercials before you get to hear/see what's so important ie...Gov Dewine on pandemic. He's been talking so you only get part of what he's saying. I should be able to come into what's being said immediately, but NO ! you have to watch commercials first & come in mid sentence/topic missing completely what was being said during those blasted commercials. VERY frustrating !
