Very nice and important app, easy to use but it would be really great if it had a silent call function or emergency call could be placed via sms cause in case you need to call the police you might not always be able to make noise, so this would be a big improvement and very helpful
It would be useful to be able to select a language for the call, then the operator could know directly which language to use to communicate. The phone language is not always the best option. I'm a French speaker but I like to use my phone in English.
Is this app only for deaf users? I'm interested in using it as an option in case of harassment in public transportation for instance, where the user (for example, a woman traveling alone) isn't in a position to make a phone call.
I contacted the 101 using this app. My call was on hold fo more than 4 min... Welcome to emergency systems!
Stomach pains hurts
This is not a rating for usability, as i thank god havent needed it yet, but for registration process. Looking for a phone number to complete ice, the app shuts down and you have to start over. Also, it is not possible to use enters whilst giving extra information.
This is incredible, hard to read, difficult to enter details. It's a shame that this important service gets such a horrible old-fashioned app. I hope I never have to use it.
Entering your birth date is not practical to do if you are older than.10 year. Drop down menus for dd/mm/yy would be more.practical.
I have to enter all my information again for every device I install the app on, or when I reinstall the app, and if my information ever changes, that'll be a nightmare to update. I would consider cloud sync an essential feature for this kind of app.
Official emergency services chat and phone app for 112 calls
Cool app if it indeed works at CIC's (not all calltakers seem to know or use it). Since I upgraded my phone to Android Oreo, the phone app tries to dial a "//112,1" string. Witch fails. Isn't handy. Also a disruptive "turn on Wi-Fi scanning" message pops-up each time... Keep on going :) EDIT: Android Oreo 8.0.0 on Samsung S5 phone (SM-G950F).
