The ads.... I just watched a 30-second ad to watch a 12-second clip. You get unskippable extremely long ads before any news clip, no matter how important. I do like the notifications (up until I click on one and have to watch aforementioned ads), and I like the actual anchors. That's about it so I'm deleting.

The app works, but it's slow, takes a long time for live weather feeds to load, and you have to wait 20-30 secs-it feels like, for an ad to play. Of course the app uses a lot of battery just playing an hour's worth of weather feed. When you're in the midst of severe weather and you're looking for updates as to when the tornado will pass by, you don't want to be looking around the app for the live feed, and then when it finally opens, you have to wait for an ad to play. Bad user experience.

I hate the new app. The old version was so much easier to use. The new one is hard to navigate and find the stories. Yes, it runs more smoothly, but that's the only improvement. The new video-heavy layout is terrible for someone that prefers to read the stories quickly.

I gave up local news yrs ago. Terrible, exploitative, racist frankly. When Covid hit, I started trying local news again. 11Alive is seriously the best--fact based, very little editorializing and sensational garbage. Surprisingly I've stuck with it. Really the best local news, even better than national news (gave that trash up yrs ago, too.) This app is pretty smooth and easy to use. Could use hella fewer add pop-ups.

The app is good when it works properly. Many times I tap on the story notification that pops up and when the app opens, it takes me to a totally different story and I have to search to find the article I was trying to read. It's frustrating.

App takes too long to start, scrolling is very cumbersome because the app tries to scroll up while the user scrolls down. Far too many long video ads compared to competitors. Stories repeated multiple times wasting users' bandwidth. App development was very amateurish, many standards ignored.

Uninstalled. Can only access and read the limited number of news articles on the initial home page. Any additional links inside of each news story (which is where you can gain additional insights into the story) just give you a spinning circle. Aggravating!

This is the first time I ever written a review for an add. usually I wouldn't take the time. this app has so many adds that you cannot finish reading a story before Amazon or Samsung pops up and takes over your screen. good riddance to 11 alive and its pop up adds

Playing videos is horrible. I try not to with this app. Because the news station forces a ad down your throat and half the time it locks up the app or freezes for a few minutes.

I used to have the 11 alive app when it was just fine then you changed it and now it doesn't have the live traffic. this version don't have the live traffic telling me where is wrecks and how much is the backups going to take to get past it. You ruined it for me!!!! I will dump this app and just use Waze.

This new app is a mess, and the switch from their original traffic map to waze was a huge disappointment and a big mistake. Checking out competitor apps and will be deleting this one.

The old app was great but this new app is terrible. It takes too long to load and it's pretty annoying that a picture has to load before any news stories. It's also no longer a user friendly app.

Loving this App! it allows me to stay abreast of local, national, and world news in real time. 😁. Now when I vlick on some news iyems, a different story appears. It happens frewuently. So Im downgrading my raying intil issue is resolved.

New app is awful!! Constantly crashes as soon as you open. Wondering why you release an app with so many problems. Ugh, I'll be uninstalling!!

Too many pop up ads. Very frustrating. Especially on older phones like mine. Slow and complicated. I liked the old app much better. Stop "improving" on a good thing!!!

1. App file takes up way too much storage space on phone. 2. Too many Ads 3. Misleads ads as News. Click bat, not news 4. Out date News Section photos. Braves section photo header is of Turner Field. That was so 5 years ago. 5. Seems like ever story is written by a liberal GenXer

I like the in-depth coverage of the news, as well as the well written articles. Often when I click on "breaking news", I don't see what I'm expecting. It seems to take a while to actually see it.

Every time I try to read a story, the app closes about 5 seconds in. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still did the same thing. It's worse than the old version. Hence the 1 star rating.

Very easy to navigate. And everything is at your fingertips! One of the best local television apps in Georgia.

Why you're using this app a giant advertisement pops up and covers a third of the screen. The App takes too long to load also. I'm deleting this obnoxious app. goodbye

absolutely hate this app. it forces you to watch a 30 second ad for every single video you want to watch. It's ridiculous

Very easy to use. the notifications do not override anything on my phone. I works great for now.

I was never able to view any video coverage of the election results. Either the app is broken or they didn't buy enough bandwidth for election night.

I like the way they tell the news and weather. They tell it where I understand what they are saying.I have watched the news and weather on tv for years. And I really enjoyed it.

Best news station in Atlanta. If im not waching it on tv then im waching it in this app every day. Either way i never miss the news. Awesome app.
