12 Step Guide - AA

While having my sobriety time and the useful links to many of the readings that help us go through one day at a time is good. I am not sure I appreciate some one else's interpretation of the steps. In breaking down each step text should be taken from the Big Book first with your strength, hope, and experiences as optional additional links. So not to be confused with the writings of Bill W so many years ago. That have not been vastly changed through all 4 versions of the Big Book.

Love that this app has all of the tools consolidated. Only issue I have is that it freezes up quite a bit, but the benefits outweigh the small freeze issue. Update: Still a great sobriety tool, but since the update, I noticed that the sobriety counter and St. Francis Prayer are no longer in the app. I'm sure there is a reason for this, but really miss the counter.

Great resource! The only issue I have is the ads screen that pops up when I open areas on the app. For free, this could not be a better choice

I really love this app. I can get to what I want quickly. I like the Daily Reflections, the different prayers, the steps are set up individually. I have not been able to find a page number yet. Is it in the settings? I was able to start a meeting using the preamble and then the home group members showed up. It's very useful. I show it to my sponsees.

I love this app, but the ads are just ridiculous!! You cant go to a different chapter/section/or anything without one popping up first! They are easily X'd out of though and you are able to experience great AA material for FREE on your phone, but it does get annoying.

I enjoy having the text at my fingertips, it's nice to be able to access certain points for instructional purposes in sponsoring. I would however love to see some of the stories such as "Keys of the Kingdom", that contain inspirational excerpts.

ads are blocking the text! You can easily change the ad format to closeable pop-ups, to avoid this issue. any chance for an update so I can actually use this app? I wanted to attach a pic of it happening but ill see if theres a dev email here somewhere.

Love it accept for the "hook-up" web chat advertisements that pop up. oh, and, i dont luke that when i want to read something i have to go through the audio books pop-up to get to what i want to actually read. It kind of seems like it's the opposite of "AA 7th Tradition".

This app is better than in even expected it to be. For people who cannot afford a big book this app is great because the whole basic text is on here for free. I still recommend it to everyone else in recovery because of that because it's to have the big book on you phone plus a sobriety counter, and the daily reflection is also here for free, the 3rd prayer the 9th step promises, as well as sooo many other reading materials. definitely recommend it!

It's a great resource but the ads disrupt critical reading including the bottom banner occasionally blocking text. I hope other apps have as many resources but unfortunately I cannot get the full extent of the app.

I think the material is really good. However I don't like the ads, the ads cut off portions of the readings at the bottom of the page. So when reading a prayer or anything, the last line is completely covered by an ad.

I downloaded another app so i could have the big book and it required a monthly fee. This app is free and doesnlt just have the steps it also has the traditions and the big book and other readings. Im super excited to use it. Glad they are passing along what was so freely given. Very appreciative.

This app is a great resource to have. I always have my phone therefore I always have the big book and the extras that the app provider has is great as well. The readings section is probably what I use the most in my morning prayers and meditations.

Something has gone wrong with the site! It looks like it has been updated and for some reason when I go to the daily reflection an lendingtree ad pops up and I can't get out of it. Very frustrating!

Daily reflections has not been working for awhile. This feature is one that I look forward to using in the app. I've emailed and haven't received any kind of response. Fix this please!

It is helping me reflect on steps of recovery to acxept things I cannot change and change the things I can. I am powerless over much and life becomes unmanageable and chaotic. Today have hope. Focus on solution, not the problem. Pray for guidance and take action leave results to God of my understanding. Continue share experience, strength and hope. Share my experience of this app. Try it. It is helpful.

All in all it really is a great app. Unfortunatly, the placement of the ads sometimes make certain lines of text unreadable.

Best free AA app I've run across. Includes a sobriety counter, daily readings, the text of the Big Book and lots lots more. Has ads on every page -- that why it's free! Click 'em and so the developer gets paid too!

I'm 2 years sober and I have been using this App and Love it. It's easy to use, handy to access anywhere, anytime whenever you want to connect AA support. I especially enjoy the relatable accompanying remarks that you can click on for the 12 steps and 12 traditions. Also instant access to AA links, literature, and support.

Before the last update, the app was nearly perfect; with the latest update, the app has lost its auto-rotate function as well as the range of page numbers for a each chapter in the big book.

Love it! It's making the 12 Steps alot easier to understand and take in. Especially with the lack of meetings due to Coronavirus. Thank you. Keep up the amazing work, and help that you are giving. I've been in and out of AA for over 5 years but I'm still trying and this app is definitely giving me hope.

Definitely helps keep you focused, it's always good to go back and read the steps over and read someone's personal experiences. Very helpful

Fantastic AA app with all the reading reference support material needed for recovery. I still mostly use my hard copy of the big book with all my notes, but it's nice to have instant access anywhere I might be.

I love this app, it allows me to get my Daily Reflections quickly! It's easy to navigate without too many ads and also has a time keeper for day sober.

Easy to use, well laid out. Great for travel and on the go! Adds are not really an issue.

I was recommend this app, and I still haven't finished reading it. So far it has been helpful mentally . I pick it every day since it's better to stay home because covid -19. I was at a rehab but not no more. So this app helps a lot and it has the steps I was learning at rehab.

I am happy to find an app that has anticipated my need with regard to all the tools in one place. Super easy and intuitive navigation. Straightforward and no nonsense. Well done.
