123SmartBMS
This unique system is called : '123SmartBMS' and it allows the end-user to store and fetch energy, without any worries. The system supervises the entire process, and signals with two relays ( charge y/n and load y/n ) if charging is allowed and if discharging is allowed.
This way, the lifespan of your expensive cells is greatly enhanced...no more over-charging and no more over-discharging.....voltage and temperature of each individual cell is monitored constantly.
But that's not all! Off course, going 'off-the-grid' means that you would want to be informed about the amount of energy stored. Right?
Or you would like to know, how much solar-current is flowing INTO your battery a this particular moment.....or.....how much energy is stored today, or how much you consumed....etc, etc.The board that is mounted on the last LiFePO4-cell has a Bluetooth-radio, and it provides all this information to you, wirelessly!
The 123SmartBMS-system is extremely modular.....whether you work with 12, 24 or 48 Volts or way beyond: it is NO problem. The storage capacity ranges from 0,1 kWh to 1000 kWh!
A standard set for 12 Volt consists of:
- one "IN"-board ( to be mounted on cell number 1 )
- two "CELL"-boards ( to be mounted on cell number 2 and 3 )
- one "OUT"-board ( te be mounted on cell number 4 )
- two 100 Amp current sensors
A standard set for 24 Volt consists of:
- one "IN"-board ( to be mounted on cell number 1 )
- six "CELL"-boards ( to be mounted on cell number 2 to 7 )
- one "OUT"-board ( te be mounted on cell number 8 )
- two 100 Amp current sensors
A standard set for 48 Volt consists of:
- one "IN"-board ( to be mounted on cell number 1 )
- fourteen "CELL"-boards ( to be mounted on cell number 2 to 15 )
- one "OUT"-board ( te be mounted on cell number 16 )
- two 100 Amp current sensors
Different current-sensors are available on request.

Using on an android platform, the app has been rubbish from the first instal a week ago. It constantly glitches on my Samsung phone and gets to the point where it completely freezes the whole OS to the point where I continually need to do a restart. Even when the app is connected and a page is swiped or the home screen times out then a full reconnect is also needed, ridiculous.. For such an expensive bms device, with no other means of control, the app is useless... would rather rate no stars..
The 123SmartBMS are easy to use and in general a very good product. However the current shunt is not sensitive enough <1A and if I leave the boat for several weeks the system drains slowly but the BMS don't detect this and still display 100%. The battery was close to empty... it would be good to be able to set the "start charging" parameter after ether time (like every 100h) or a minimum voltage on the complete pack. Please make an update for this to get a 5 star.
im an Android user... I have a number of different Android devices (4) and only 1 connects. All the others display differing problems. Some just refuse to connect, others connect and display garbage values. The display only displays in portrait mode, unable to rotate. Was not impressed, Hard to believe but developer say they coudnt replicate the problem. Just upgraded abd my display problem us now sorted on 3 devices but no joy on 4th but likely my problem. Well done you guys. More stars awarde
I have a Samsung J1 bluetooth 4 android 5.1.1 . When we connected the PCB's only the In pcb was working , the 2nd pc failed this one bypassed and all where working except the out pcb was not transmitting on 2 Samsungs and 1 new dell they recognized it but could not connect. No where is mentioned in the manuals that Android 5 does not work but 123Smartbms informed us. 2 Weeks later the 2nd pcb failed. A new pcb cost half of the shipping cost where it could easily be mail as a letter. This system is not robust enough ready to plug and play. and so far an expensive wast of money.
After the last update all connectivity to bluetooth comms non existent! Running android . Worked well before update . What connectivity improvements were improved???!!
Works very good! The new version of this app is improved. Well done! I am very happy with the override options for the charge and load relais.
Latest version (Mar 2020) keeps asking for PIN. Even after resetting using the bluetooth reset button on the Out Module the default 1234 PIN is not accepted!!

It started out with an unstable app that actually became pretty good over the updates. Since the last update it does not work at all anymore.. As this is for a house bank on a yacht I have no choice but to get this working ASAP or find another bms and loose my investment...
Works intermittently. Bluetooth connectivity issues. Even after sometimes connecting to battery BMS (green dot in app - indicates connected), then fails to read / report battery state. App reverts with an "error reading settings. Timeout stopping data" error.
The IOS version of the app works flawlessly, the android version does not connect, it keeps searching and trying to connect but doesn't work, tried with numerous android phones to no avail. Would really be great to have a fix
As with others, I found apple phones or tablets work OK. Android? Terrible connection problems. As a dev, I find Android and Bluetooth are just s**t. Bluetooth is total c**p. I mean .. can't these BT guys get their act together? As for the app itself,. when working it is great. Simple as anything. We use with 72V (24 cells).
Unfortunately I need to agree with other users. The system and the app are not reliable and it's very expensive. I am not happy with this system. NOT RECOMMENDED. ****It's better with the last update (15th November). Still, price vs quality is not good enough. Voltage not reliable from the cells vs boards. 😞 Why the voltage information send from the boards do not match with the cells voltage? ( This is not a problem with the multimeter). I already give up about the problem with current sensors.
