13abc WTVG Toledo, OH

Until last week I liked this app. I am uninstalling it. The home page comes in fine tap the news and all that pops up stories on a site called out brain. No news. Here it is May 4 2021. I tried it again. Same thing happened. I just uninstalled it. This was the last chance. I'm very disappointed in the app I put the back on my phone it worked great thanks now trying to add it to my new phone.

Video automatically starts without the ability to turn off in settings. I just want to view the radar, and in occasion, news headlines. I don't want, or need the app to automatically launch the most recent weather broadcast. The app will be deleted.

The 13abc app is the most attractive, easy to navigate, user-friendly news app I've used. News apps always have a ridiculous number of annoying, unignorable timed and pop-up ads— but 13abc does not. I wish that there were more customizable notification options regarding each kind of specific types of severe weather alerts (eg tornado, fog, flood) I want to be notified about. Such as the NWS provides, I'd also like to know what specific portion of the county and cities that fall under the alert.

Loved this app until it quit doing what it's supposed to do. Many times the weather just cycles & won't open. Now all of a sudden I can't click on the 3 dots at the top right of an app story to save it. And sometimes it won't even allow me to save the story using any method. Please fix these issues asap!

The recent update has caused all of my preset alerts to stop working. They show they are set but I don't get a push notification for them. I don't want to use another app but I may have to unless they can fix this one.

The weather portion is terrible. I have been relying on the extended forecast to choose days to be able to visit my parents outside (because of covid) and have just realized it is just a repeating forecast from the previous week. Very disappointing, I frankly expected better from 13abc. Don't put it up if its not actual.

This app stinks! It gives me breaking news notifications then takes me to a different story and can't find the breaking news article. Navigation through this app is terrible. I think I will try channel 24 or 11 instead.

The recent update is horrible. I can't check the weather without the forecast video playing. You can't pause it and the ad is extra loud. FIX IT!

Always quirky now crashes all the time. I finally uninstalled. I've had this app for a few years now and last few weeks kept crashing and freezing up. Looking elsewhere for local news. :(

We enjoy your live broadcasts very much. But your website leaves much to be desired. If your going to continue it you need to dedicate the resources to keep it updated. Too many times the posts are 2 sometimes 3 days old. Either nothing is happening or your neglecting the online potential audience.

This app keeps playing the video when you open the weather. Please stop this!!! Takes forever to load and doesn't update very well. Older version worked better!!!

When I read an article news audio will automatically stay playing with no way to stop it. It even happens when I have my phone on silent. It makes this app unusable.

The app is behind on reporting the news. Storm rolls through and cannot get updates until after the storm passes. All that was received was that it was raining. Looking out the window showed that, and I could hear it. Duh. Please get people who know how to write and report immediately.

Every time I check the weather I get audio add after add. Very annoying. I am deleting the app. It's terrible.

Works well Monday -Friday but never updated all weekend. Basically you can watch Friday news and weather on Saturday and Sunday. I look elsewhere now when trying to get the weather for the upcoming week. 😡

overall the app is descent, but the daily update on high school sports is pretty poor. scores are shown on 11 o' clock sports. What's so hard about updating the app the next day?

I can't stand the stupid audio when browsing weather. It's so annoying i look elsewhere for weather updates. Who thought this was a good idea? It also takes FOREVER to load

This app is garbage. It opens straight to an add that I can't skip or even close. Can't even make it to the actual app.

This app. Eats data like crazy, I checked data used by this app at end of month and it used 21 gigs! Not mgb. Gigs!! I hardly ever use it, maybe 15 minutes in morning 5 days a week

Hasn't had any new news stories in over two weeks! And there were always misspelled words. Going some where else to be informed.

I can never find the story I got the notification for. Always some stupid click bait. If i could give 0 stars I would. Im deleting the app! 2 thumbs down!

This news station has really gone downhill. The Toledo Blade/Buckeye Cable has monopolized the entire news industry. Never get updates on anything that happens unless you give the Block's money.

doesn't always work the way it's supposed to. Doesn't open stories for the alerts received.

The update on the news is slow. I can see the same stories atleast 3 days in a row.

Never loads, have to relaunch 5 or 6 times. New news does not come through. HORRIBLE APP!
