13News Now (WVEC)

It still repeats stories all the time. One story could be seen at least 5 times. That is not a good thing! Even wonderful stories should only be shown once.

I like being able to review any news, weather, etc. from the day. I find the homepage cluttered and when I look for something mentioned on a broadcast, it is time consuming. Often in a broadcast they will say to go to the app and look for links, etc. but I usually give up when I can't easily find them.

I love this app! It keeps me up to date on the local news & weather! It's a very user friendly app so anyone can use it, plus I love 13 news & all the anchors. Their meteorologist are amazing and 9 out of 10 times are correct with the weather, they have always been on point with the storms & hurricane and you can easily see the weather with this app!

Weather radar is now unuseable. This app used to have the best weather radar available, with several different options. Now there is only one view, and the banner ad at the bottom completely covers the "Play" icon, rendering it useless for figuring out the path of storms.

News content is fine but the app needs technical improvements. Biggest problem is that it constantly crashes all the time, usually after loading a story and during the attempt to scroll down through it. Also, the initial "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening" page that initially comes up is totally unnecessary and a rather annoying delay.

The app was easier to navigate before the update. You open the app and click on where you want to go....very simple. Now you have to search for everything....getting to the 7 day forcast is time consuming. Love the older version so much better!!

This was a great app before the last update. Was easy to get the news and weather but now, its constantly running ads, and moving down what I'm trying to read.

Where is the live news stream on the app? That is what was great about the last app, actually seeing the live news, weather, and sports coverage as it happens. Give me that back with a full screen and I will be satisfied.

I grade to excellent score, because 13 news local station is deliver a non bias reporting but it's balance flexible. And, every minute or hour some followers are going to call 13News of breaking news to let them know what is good or bad situation happen inside the house or outside the Hampton Roads.

Would like to see the weather pictures that are uploaded.

The new app is way too busy. I just want the news and the weather. When I choose the forecast and then radar, it doesn't load.

I think the app is well done with one exception: it is constantly asking me to upgrade when I already have the latest version. I ignore it now (after confirming this so many times) so how will I ever know if a newer version ever is released?

Actually preferred the prior version. This version will not open promptly. I will try to open an article, nothing happens, then 5 minutes later it pops up.

Love the app. However still alot of buffering on the videos. But all around, good app and love my 13 news since I was a kid. The folks are awesome personalities and all around great news cast...

I think the new app is leaps and bounds above the last. I like the fact that you can watch the news but I wish you could watch missed broadcast (DayBreak, Noon, and 6pm).

Overall it's ok. Need a faster way to get to the interactive weather map. In the lawncare business, most days I rely upon the map

After several tries it downloaded. Five minutes later I decided the only feature of value is the weather. There are better apps for that. Uninstalling.

Curious to know, where did the WVEC 13 NEWS weather app go? I used that app every single day to get up to date weather reports. The app literally stopped working, I Uninstalled it just to find out, it's not even in the app store anymore.

I record this news channel as well so I can look at it after work. I do like the app, it's an opportunity to share with others, through social media! Thanks

I enjoy using this app because it is easy to access any part of the website. I can get the weather and the news when I miss it on TV.

Irritating to get notifications and then not be able to find the story. Other than that, it's okay.

I don't like this new app it is not to easy find other parts of the news like traffic, events or what is going on in a particular city like it was before this update

Won't work keeps freezing up. Can not navigate well. Older App was just fine.

Hello, I really enjoy the alerts. They keep me informed about events as close as my community and as far away as another country/continent.

Very slow app. Doesn't update election results every ten minutes. Hasn't updated results since 7:30 am on 11/03/21. No good app.

Love the weather n traffic reports. SOO helpful for me in my line of work in Hampton Roads. Wish the political narrative was a 🤏 more independent.

Always up to date & gives notifications on breaking news to my phone in real time.
