The real 15C is the best calculator I've ever owned. Its hard to tell how good the app is because the function of the free app is restricted.
I'm using it on a 5 inch screen and still buttons are small because wasted space around the keyboard. Also, display numbers could be somewhat bigger. Please don't spoil this wonderful design and use every bit of available screen space!
The shift keys are disabled in this demo. That would be OK if it didn't start up in scientific notation with one sig fig! It has been disabled so much I can't tell if it works! Furthermore, the display is OK at best - the keys are far smaller and wider spaced than on a real 15c.
There may be better apps out there, but if you really just want an hp15c, this is the app for you.
I bought this calculator when I was in college. I used it to get through a computer science degree and a master's degree. This emulation of it reminds me of how much I liked that old calculator. This is true to the form of the one I used for such a long time. Well done.
I have had a HP 15 since the early 80's. This is the closest thing to a real HP.
Demo too limited, F & G function keys aka 2/3 of the functions not usable
There is no point in evaluating a calculator app if two third of the functionality is disabled.
Absolutely a waste of time to download. Not even the most basic features work on this thing. Bad design and layout. AVOID!!!!!
I don't really need the scientific or programming features of this emulator, but I love that I can grab my phone/tablet and do some quick arithmetic in a familiar environment.
Had a 15C in college. This is the best Android emulator I've used. Very close to the real thing. Bummer about the disabled f and g keys...
Very pleased. I enjoy HP's RPN style. You nailed it. Thanks
Mine was stolen.... And this is the closest that I can get to the real thing. It was a priceless tool while tackling those engineering classes back then at Uni of Tasmania.
Fantastic calculator. Just like using the real thing, or close to it.
I'm using the Hp67 fully functional and for free. Why does this one need to be purchased to get full function?
It's like its original-the best calculator ever built.
Works fine on my phone, but the screen is not optimized for a tablet.
Perfect. Just like college, but now I don't have to carry around the other device.
I'm choosing neither.
Works great, does not have that classic HP button feel however
Works flawlessly on my Moto G 2nd Generation. Needs a phone at least this big. On smaller phones the buttons will be too small as the app accurately replicates HP's button spacing. I've tried several HP calculator programs on both Android and iOS. This is the first one I found that is good enough to use. The question is do I pay for the pro version or replace the batteries in my real HP-15C? My HP-15C is 30 years old and it still works. Amazing.
Works great, interface doesn't look quite as good as the payed version, but it is definitely passible.
Just like my old trusted 15c but a bit bigger on my 8 inch tablet. Love it.
Just like my old physical handheld calculator, but not as bulky!
Works just like my beloved 11C of 30+ years, and still kicking it. Now I have an HP with me always--RPN rules!
Great app! Highly recommend. I always want my trusty friend the HP 15c in my pocket. Thanks!
One of the better - if not the best - calculators.
Outstanding emulation of the original. Works just fine, I use it everyday
I got my 15c when I was in high school from the university bookstore. I lost it during graduate school but always wished I could get it back. This app looks and works like the real thing. The only thing missing is the feel of keys being pressed. Nice work!
