Easy to order but the self exam doesn't work with my phone. It will not go past the first set of letters in the eye exam.
1800 Contacts was so helpful when my eye doctor shut down unexpectedly during COVID and I ran out of contacts. Their customer service figured everything out for me and got my contacts delivered to me quickly! I highly recommend.
This app makes it so easy to order my contacts and sends monthly reminders about changing contacts. It's great!!!

Super easy! Real fast and real easy! My eye doctor told me I had to get a glasses exam that I didn't even need yet. Which I would have paid cash for because my insurance said it was to soon. Just to get a new contact prescription! This was so easy and helpful!!!
My first experience with this app went great got my contacts ordered easily and was able to quickly renew my prescription in the app.
Super fast self exam and refill of my prescription! Prices are same as going to the eye doctor but it much easier and no need to take time for drs visit
They were super friendly.. and shipping and delivery was very fast.
App was terrible to navigate. Used web browser, just as bad. Found it very difficult to place an order, save a reciept, and locate the out of network form.
App keeps closing. Says the app has a bug. Please fix!!!
Easy to navigate and responsive.
Quick and Painless. I really thought that finding the new transition lenses would take a lot of research, but instead 1 800 was quick on the uptake and I even got a hefty discount for buying in bulk. The app definitely sped up the already relatively hassle-free experience. The slowest part is waiting approximately 24 hrs to verify a prescription, which makes sense.
I really like this app because it makes ordering contacts really easy. The only issue that I have is that I no longer receive the lens gauge notification when I need to change to a new pair of contacts. I have to check the app every few days to see when my 30 days are up on the current pair I'm using. I've checked that all notification settings are on for the app and have tried disabling and reenabling the settings but nothing changes.
It was super fast, super convenient and just a tad cheaper than all other quotes that I had gotten for my very strong prescription right lenses. **UPDATE** Used the app to purchase, recieved an email saying couldn't ship until my script was verified, which I had already done. So signed up for texts and was able to get help with that via text. Also, the app wasn't appearing in my widgets, it is still running in the background though. So uninstall it as soon as you are done ordering. :)
Super Convenient and User Friendly! At the click of a button I'm able to order my contacts. The most impressive by far, is the quick and easy eye exam/scan feature! It helps avoid the hassle of booking redundant appointments with my Dr. and having to leave the comfort of home. This app is a huge game changer! Contacts always arrive at lightning fast speed (even with free shipping) which is AWESOME!
Excellent and flawless. Love the app and the service. Very convenient and not too pushy about reordering. Just right. Also an important note. My luggage was stolen and lost my contacts while traveling. I called 1800 Contacts just to reorder. When I mentioned my contacts were stolen, they priority shipped a 6 months supply for free! I cannot thank them enough. I didnt expect that for sure. Thank you!
It could be an excellent app if it weren't for connectivity issues. I had to try several times to order (no other device nor app had issues with our network and other networks the 4 times I tried). The express exam was cool, though. I loved not having to go to my doctor's as my prescription hasn't changed in 5 years. So, thank you for that! If you get the network issues corrected, I'll change my rating to 5 stars.
This app was very easy to use and it made finding and ordering contacts an easy process! One flaw is that I couldn't zoom in on the picture of the box of the contacts to make sure it was the right one, I couldn't see the tiny lettering and it wasn't in the title, so it took me a while to realize I'd found the correct contacts. However, searching, selecting, ordering, paying, and adding your prescription is an easy process!
First time using 1800Contacts, I've seen the commercials but never tried them out. App was easy to use, I'll update once my shipment comes in. There was a weird glitch in the app where I got stuck in a loop selecting the shipping method. I had to back out the app and try it again just to advance. Other than that everything was smooth.
Super easy to navigate and they did an eye test virtually for me because I didn't have a recent prescription. I only gave it four stars because when I went to reorder they automatically selected daily lenses(which I have never used) that would have cost 700 versus my normal ones that are 70 a box. I'm assuming they're trying to promote it or something but with one click to pay options since my card was saved and Google pay is also an option I imagine some people have gotten an upsetting surprise
This app couldn't have been simpler to use. This was my first use and I had a question about entering my prescription manually, so I called. My wait was very short for a kind, helpful representative whose first language seemed to be English! I went back to placing my order, which I completed quickly and easily. We'll see how the service goes, but one experience with the app was great.
Every once in a while a contact tears in the first few days. On occasions an entire box of contacts has done it. Proclear was difficult to deal with and the local vision office was horrible. 1800 made it right again and has been a pleasure to work with over the years. The new eye exam through the app is great.
Everything is excellent, except I wish the request for a picture of the prescription could either be the first big thing on the screen thanking for the order placed or we could have the option of taking a picture of the prescription before placing the order. I lost a month of contact use and had to wear only glasses because I didn't realize I'd neglected to send the prescription. Yes operator error on my part, but hopefully this fix will make it completely intuitive. Thank you!
I'll place my order then a few days later I'll get a call that I have to have their $20 eye exam AGAIN before they'll ship my contacts. I typically order every 6 months and they make me take it each time. Its not necessary to have an "eye exam" (which is an extremely loose term) every six months. It also bothers me that they don't just tell me that when I'm purchasing the contacts, they wait half a week and then tell me and will put the order on hold until the "eye exam" is complete.
