My go to music app for 90s Alternative. Usually works well (98% of the time), but once in a while has issues with loading. Being free I'm not going to complain since the music selection is awesome. Thank you 181fm and the makers of this app

Hasn't been updated in 5 years? The music selection is fantastic! Super easy to use - great for the car. I really wish there was Chromecast support. Commercials can get excessive at times.

all i get is buffering and ads hardly any music, cause I'm wasting all the time restarting the music. other errors are data connection or request timed out. not worth it when you spend too much time on restart and ads VS listening to music.

App crashes all the time. Quite a bit of the time when paired to Bluetooth device it will show now playing yet there is no sound. Will not continue playing if there is a short data connection loss(traveling).

Has a great selection, very easy to use and plays clear with no stutter. Been using 181 in one way or another for years and it is perfect for me.

So many different genres available from dance all the way to country and everything in between I use this app on a daily basis and so far no problems 😃

why are there commercials in the middle of the songs now. years with this station and now worse then local radio.

Worked OK, then started crashing whenever I select a radio stream, or during playback. Uninstalled

I've been using this app for about 8 years its the only music app i use.

Used to be great, now the there is more self promo adds than ever.

Would be 5 stars if it worked with Android auto.

I Love the music

I've used this app on, literally, every device I've owned. If you're into personalization, this app is not for you. There is none really. But what it does offer is wide selection of top musical genres with very good sound and very little ad content. If you're into really narrow niche genres, again, this is not for you. However, if you just want to pick a station and just let it play, you will very much appreciate this app. I've used many of the wider known apps (and still use some), but 181.fm is always the one I come back to.

Great app. Been listening to 181.FM for years. I discovered it using Winamp, which I still use on my PC. I now have this app on my old smartphone in the garage, where I just run it on wireless. Not many commercials, most of which are Progressive Insurance ads. Listening to "Chilled", I have discovered much, much talent; Delerium, Elohim, Lights, Sia (years before mainstream), M83, Beach House, Birdy, Trespassers William, Dark Dark Dark, Freelance Whalers, Thievery Corporation, Conjour One, Rae Morris, Poe and all of the other beautiful voices that sing for Delerium and Conjour One.

Just uninstalled this crap. The music selection on the genres are good but the app Lacks good functionality with car stereos. Doesn't transmit song info and will stop streaming frequently. They are only interested in the ads. Install one of the other apps that say 181.fm they are much better

I love this app for listening to the radio, the only problem is that I frequently get a data stalled message with some of my favourite stations and it takes ages for the app to fix itself. Also there is no way to report bugs to the dev team. Otherwise this is fantastic.

Stable quality connection, and the connection stalling issue is no more!!! Song tagging works well, but tags can't be removed/editted/sorted so it ends up being an alphabetically sorted list of songs you liked ages ago. song info/history/favorite stations work like a charm. Much faster and lighter than tunein app, so use this app now all day every day...

Well. I thought I had found the answer to my 181.fm listening pleasure. Oh dear everything looked cool but only some of the streams work and not enough background info on the the artist/show. Please improve for next update. Thankyou

It would be nice when playing this app that it would mute Waze when during navigation. If there's a workaround I haven't found one yet.

I like this app so much. However, it often stops working on my samsung j7 prime. I have to relaunch or just quit and play other music app. Hope they fix it.
