Good app and works well but only ranks 3 stars because it only works in portrait mode with no option to switch it to landscape so the screen sits sideways on my setup.

it was good, but doesn't work anymore. got network error message. had to use the other 181 fm app. what's going on? EDIT: it's working again after being updated.

Needs an UPDATE

Note that my review is for the app itself, and not the content from 181.fm. I have found that this app handles cell signal dropouts VEEY poorly. It fails at automatically restarting a stream if the buffer runs out. Additionally, when I think I have stopped playback and closed the app I find that an hour or more later my phone randomly starts playing commercials and/or music. This is VERY ANNOYING when it decides to resume playback at 2:30AM waking me up in the middle of the night, more than FIVE HOURS after I *thought* I stopped playback and closed the app. When this Phantom playback occurrs, there is no icon in the notification bar, nor is the app in my app switcher list. I have to find the launcher, tap on it, wait for the interface to load, try to guess what station it decided to play, hit the stop button and pray it doesn't start playing again.

Plays bloody ads whenever i open app. Doesn't say contains ads 😡

Keeps stopping or shuts down. Not worth the trouble. Other apps stay up.

Quite good, but does not rotate horizontally 😞 Maybe in the next update? Then I would rate it higher.

The best oldies radio if it didn't keep buffering. Uninstalled.

Very bass heavy. Needs equilizer. Not sure what bitrate stream is at either? Could be low, hence bad sound quality

I couldn't shut off the app. All I was able to do was change my selection. Uninstall :-(
