With the 1822TAN + process, you can share your online transactions directly through the app.

How does the 1822TAN + procedure work?
If an online transaction is waiting for approval, you will receive a push message on your smartphone via the 1822TAN + app. In the 1822TAN + App you can then confirm or cancel the order.

These are your advantages:
- Make banking easier, more convenient and faster
- No TAN lists or TAN numbers required by SMS anymore
- You receive transaction data via push message directly to your smartphone
- Execution of transactions on a terminal device (in combination with the 1822direkt Banking App)

How to enable the 1822TAN + procedure?
In your customer portal you activate the 1822TAN + procedure under the menu item "Service | PIN / TAN administration | 1822TAN +" for free. Follow the descriptions in the customer portal and in your 1822TAN + app to complete the activation.

The following permissions are required on your device:
- Access to the camera to scan a QR code when activating the 1822TAN + procedure
- Permission of the 1822TAN + App to send you push messages to your smartphone

System Requirements: You need Android 5.0 or higher. Basically, we only recommend using devices for which the manufacturer still provides security updates for the operating system.

Note about "Root": The app is not offered for devices with root access / tampering software. From our point of view, the use of rooted devices is a security risk that we want to exclude for your security in financial transactions.

You need to give your password in this application whenever you use the web version for almost any little thing and this happens constantly, not once per session. Tried to activate biometric password, then my password started to be shown in the request to the server. Finally got it confirmed, tried to switch to this password and got my TAN generation blocked out of nowhere. Then, my phone got blacklisted. Probably I need to get another PIN per post, because this is German banking service level.
