Digitale Medier 1881 distributes information services such as private information (name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail etc.) and detailed business information (name, address, e-mail, homepage, key financial numbers etc.) for different channels including Android. In addition to the traditional directory search this Android app also has an integrated dialer where an innovative interaction between the search queries and the call module provides high user satisfaction. Although the app doesn’t offer an automatic lookup when the actual call is generated, the user is provided with the caller’s information when entering the call list. Moreover, several other value-adding services are available.Examples of other smart and helpful features. Receiving an incoming call when busy and in the middle of other things, calling back is easily forgotten. Integrated in the 1881 Gratis Android app is a smart “reminder” feature where you can set the time for when you want the phone, by a notification on the screen, to remind you of preferred action for this call (call back, send SMS or plan a meeting). Another useful service is the included “timeout”. Never again miss an important call because you forgot to turn back on the call volume. Turn your phone on silent mode until a specific time and the app will automatically remember when to exit silent mode.
