1942 Pacific Front is pretty fun for a mobile game. I would say the gameplay and mechanics are very well made but the AI can be frustrating in how persistent they are, especially when they have the ability to spawn limitless units in certain campaigns. The best aspect of this game would be the feeling of beating a campaign but the worst aspect is the lack of gold or units granted in campaigns, showing the push for microtransactions. I would recommend this for only the pacient man.
Excellent. More unique unlike most strategy games I played. Also the fact that there is a fog of war, most games doesn't have that, therefore scouting is really needed. My only problem is that the levels, are extremely difficulty. Always outnumbered. Large scale offensive but we are outnumbered by 1:10? It is too difficult.
This is a great game, but I have some ideas that can improve it. First I think the levels are too difficult, so maybe just lower the difficulty a little. Second, A level editor would be an amazing edition. All in all, great game, not much critiques, but some new stuff would be cool.
I would have given the game 5 stars if the icons of each character/equipment switches to the right direction. It's ugly to see the animation firing but pointed and attacking on the opposite side. I really love this game and has huge potential if played and developed properly. How I wish it has an online mode where I could play games with other players apart from a person next to me and switching turns. Overall my experience is really nice. Live the story and the pack from 1941 to 1944.
the game is good. but there are some issues. Firstly, the local cannot save into the cloud. secondly, it will be jammed once give unit supply. thirdly, it will have total different operation if I click on the screen.
The game is really well made. It would be nice if the AI wasn't able to have Infinite units because as I tend to push them back. It would seem more nice if there is a "Special" mission or objective in most missions of the campaign.
Great game.....and for those who are complaining about money.... I'd say it's totally fine. Try to complete the campaign with the money given, only then it's challenging and fun. Otherwise anyone can sweep through with lots of gold.
Uninstalled almost immediately. Even in training campaign the ad is 1/4 of the screen. I guess they want you to buy the game, but its really distracting for any new player. Shame as it could've been a good game, just can't really enjoy it due to very distracting ad
Too convoluted and too many ads to watch just to play the game. Very tired of games where you have to watch a 35 second ad (or 10) every single turn. The game has a decent setting that reminds me of some other turn based strategy games, but the gold aspect makes it unplayable unless you want to spend WAY more than the game is worth. Not a fan.
This game is fun but needs additional levels. Good graphics and game play but you run out of scenarios. Multiplayer mode there was no one to play against.
Pay to win. The A.I that you play against in the campaign missions has a infinite amount of money while you get a pathetic amount to start, making it extremely difficult to progress through the campaign missions unless you pay the outrageous prices for the in game currency. Other than the whole pay to win part the "pass and play" levels are very mediocre at best. However, to play the levels you have to have a second person to play against in real life, even then it gets very boring quickly.
This is a great game. The only complaint I have is that thier isn't enough units. I wish there were mainly more planes and tanks/troops as thier was more than just medium tanks. I also wish that the bunkers were be styled differently on Beach's over grass or forest over plains. And for planes I would love to see the B5N Kate and B-17 flying fortress or B-29 Superfortress.
This is a really fun turn-based strategy game, I've played it for a really long tine and recommend it for anyone who likes turn based games. While the WW2 setting is fun and interesting, I think a Cold War setting would be new and exciting.
This game is MAGNIFICENT! Very addictive and good graphics, it's truly a must play game. I also like this game because it's challenging and brings on different events in levels, like destroying a convoy. There is also a multi-player mode that you can play with friends, family, etc.
Its a bit difficult at first. And sometimes it wont select the unit im trying to select. And the free gold video dont always work. Which is a shame cause it takes a bit of gold to win each battle. But it cool cause you earn gold throughout the fight. Nice game.
It's actually four stars if you like a turn based war game with VERY little depth. It loses one star for overbearing ads. I'm okay with free ad based but this is ridiculous level. It loses another star for opening app store WITHOUT PERMISSION from some ads. Wow. How abusive!
Really cool game but it is kinda one sided. Damage is slanted in favor of the enemy,. Amount of gold won for kills/needed to effectively destroy enemy ratio could be adjusted. But given the nature of the game the odds wasn't always in ones favor in The Pacific. I like the game, but you will likely to spend money to win.
Had so much potential... Great mechanics and everything but they got extremely greedy by making the only way to get resources is to earn a tiny by by killing enemies or watching ads/spending money. You literally have to watch two ads every turn to fund your military cause guess what supplies cost more than the units themselves too...
It's a good game, because I've played it before(A Lot). It is a very fun game with many different ways to play and the missions are difficult, but not to difficult. They keep the game updated and make sure there are no bugs. I would recommend it to anyone who likes mobile Strategy games. it is a 5 star game
Well this game is the most intense when it comes to battles, where you can even move ships!, and the ships are almost like a real realistic movement at all!, I could also wish I can rate it higher like through 100 stars, cause it was also like the 1941 Frozen Front but this one is getting more intense.
It is good game, but pay to win. You can have entire fleet and exhausted money and you wont be able to do anything. No money/gold per turn, nothing. You cant reach enemy to kill to get money because you dont have money to move, so its all setup around you buying and it happens always on the edge of winning. Smart. Disappointing
It could be a fun game. Enemy unit count is far too high to complete a level. Player unit count is low and cost for new units too high. Makes the game frustrating and impossible to complete.
WOW really ads in the paid versions of these games but if you look now they offer a premium version for another $2.99 (already paid $2.99 but I guess with ALL THE ADS THEY WEREN'T making enough so....... What's after that the Super premium and then the Deluxe premium no doubt each new one will be to $2.99 Good bye for good
Cash grab. The first 2 missions are almost impossible to beat with out spending money for more gold. The ads are ridiculous, forced to watch 30 second adds with no skip options and the come up in the middle of a mission constantly. I suggest avoiding this game.
Old style board manoeuvre. Surprises during play. Better with intermittent free gold during turns(no pay to play). Unsinkable without that. Tricky learning controls and turns. Good after a few sessions.
Game has great potential but falls short in several areas. The ability to generate game currency is terrible. Without currency to buy and supply troops ruins the game. The learning curve on different units and abilities is huge because the information isn't provided well enough. It's pretty much trial by error. Tutorials are mediocre. They could be more in depth to reduce learning curve.
