1998 Cam - Vintage Camera

Edit: Would certainly give 5 stars if the problem is solved. Is there any way I can recover my pictures? The filters were on point and the shots were amazing. I'm looking forward to see the improvement. My photos all disappeared. I was able to view my photos right after I took them. But after a few months, I cant view my photos anymore as the file format was not supported. I can neither export or edit them. The album is just full of black screens and all my taken photos are gone.

Probably not a bad app but unusable as ads popping up forcing you to watch them before you can continue. Imagine you are about to make an awesome shot but you have to do it now - and then an ad appears! When the ad is gone, so is the moment! My advice: Use your normal phone camera and get an app that lets you add filters to pix afterwards, there's plenty that are way less intrusive.

Allows shooting with any preset on, which is one of the main features missing from a lot of editing apps and makes this more fun to use. I think the presets look good and often quite convincing for film, and there are a lot of them. Very high level of control, down to orientation, color and saturation of the dust overlays. Not annoying with ads, the free version is very full and functional (and the upgrade is cheap!). It works how it should and isn't totally annoying. Kind of a marvel.

I really like this app and the PRO version is very reasonably prices. This app reminds me a lot of another app that I used to have on my iPhone, before switching to Android. The one feature I really miss is the ability to apply random filters to photos that I take with the app (not just the light leak and dusting, but actual filters). I know it might sound like I'm giving the app to much control over the end result, but I swear, I took some of my favorite pictures that way!

Honestly, one of the best camera apps I've ever used. The free options are all amazing and they work well to create great photos. Also, there's a 'shuffle' feature that allows you to randomly make combinations of filters, light leaks and dusting until you find one you like. This particular feature is helpful if and when you are not sure how to edit the photo best. I definitely recommend this app over any other of its kind.

Love this app so much. It has lots of gorgeous filters and gives you the control over the image settings. I also like the random filter option, and the way you can develop your photos again if you're not happy with the result. The first time I installed it I had some trouble with it crashing, which was due to a faulty memory card. By the time I got the refund, I already managed to solve the problem, so I bought it again haha.

Love using this app. Lots of filters and its easy to make photos interesting. However, the app seems to have a lot of difficulty saving photos based on what filters, grain, and lighting effects you use. I've had a lot of instances where no changes were saved to a photo if it doesn't happen to like something you picked.

Fantastic choice of filters and effects, but some things don't seem to work for me: favouriting a filter doesn't move it to the top of the list and turning on 3D has no effect (is there any help built in the app?). I am using a Huawei P20 Pro. Also, it would be great if it is possible to add a convenient feature: press and hold on a photo to see None effect (this will allow us to see the before and after effects of a filter). Thanks!

A perfect app... Almost! i love the editing styles, along with the filters and dust effects, however i can no longer edit certain photos! Everytime I now edit, i select all the effects/filters/dust etc confirm the selection and the app just goes white and returns to the images screen with no changes to the original photo. I would love to give the apo 5 stars but, unfortunately, I cant!

I'm impressed, good filters app, worth paying for the pro version. Android 10 problem reported and fixed within days, well done to all. I'm still confused as to why you have to export each photo, rather than the image automatically being saved to the gallery. Take a few shots with the app and it gets annoying. Also sometimes takes several attempts to export. Only thing that spoils the app imho.

Used to be 5 stars and used to be incredible, but now it just keeps crashing and doesn't save the pictures after I've spent an hour or longer tweaking them. I end up having to take a screenshot so that I don't lose the work I have done, but this sacrifices the quality of the picture. So much of my work and effort has been lost because of a few bugs that needs to be fixed by the developers. I will change my rating once the app starts working like it used to again.

This app is okay and has potential. The filters are a little too high contrast for me, and I had difficulty understanding what made each filter pack a category because they all look very random (except for b/w filter pack, of course). The one thing I would really change though, is to remove the flashing filter's title over my picture. It made me a little dizzy going through the whole reel of filters, plus it disturbes my view when it comes to comparing. Hope that can be changed in the future.

Great app but Very Broken!! it has the best light leaks of any photo editor on android but the past few weeks the app freezes and breaks my phone every time I try to access my photos to upload. If i leave the app, it also entirely freezes and I need to force stop, but still can't use it when I open it back up. Nothing works. I cannot do anything. I miss it a lot, please fix these bugs.

Best editing app I've ever used, especially when I combine it with other editing apps and finalise my work on here: simply amazing, cannot fault it; the countless options leaves me indecisive, which is essentially what I want and look for when it comes to editing; my work is always unique. Thank you. Have more options! Maybe more access to locked content may encourage more users! Just a friendly suggestion. Keep up the outstanding work!

Easy to use. This app really allows it's users to create beautiful pictures with that vintage 1990s vibe. However, it would be better with more features. Here's a suggestion: Please allow us to adjust the 3D glitch level. It's not very noticeable. The ability to choose the colors of the glitch would be cool too. Overall, great app. Good job, y'all.

I used to love this app and even bought the premium version. I had a favorite filter and all of my photos were perfect because of it, but then suddenly the filter was.... different. The colors changed, I don't know. It would be great to create our own filters as well. But it is great to be able to take pictures already visualizing it with the filter on, and then adjust it later if necessary.

I bought the premium version because I enjoyed the wide range of effects available for video editing, but I was disappointed to find out that after editing a video to perfection that I couldn't save it afterward because the app kept crashing. I tried several times to close and reset the app to no avail... I'm hoping there's just a need for an update as I was really excited about my edit.....

The app is super great when it works but when I tell it to select a photo from my library, it goes black and then freezes. I can reboot the app, but only to experience the same issue. I'm on the app store looking for another film filter app right now lol. I love the features on this app but I can't use it, so it's sort of pointless.

This app is visually stunning and amazing for my photography. Not only can you take pictures in the app, you can also import photos! You can also customize the year on the timestamp which, for me, seals the deal. Bravo, this app is fantastic. When I get paid I will be paying for the add removal to get a great experience.

great app! it works amazing and the ads are really short they don't even bother me. they even have an option to remove ads for $2 so if ads bother you that much you can pay to take them off. this is the best free vintage photo editing app ever. it has lots of options and different filters and layovers. totally does the job, I would 100% recommend.

It's all Neat & Beautiful. Straight-forward, neat and user-friendly interface. Love the filters. So does the editing tools. Especially having the edit tools with already controlled-edit-range, which are all so well-set-prepared for user to achieve desirable results, subtle and beautiful. Very good app! The best vintage app there is. Hopefully we get to see more light tools like Flares added, then the tint, skin tone , crop, skew and Hsl tools to pop out colours in images. We need quality filters(improve the quality of the filters) Also, we need a better layout! Just the way it is in the iPhone, Please.. spice up the app. Thank you. Well done!!!

Really vast range of subtle film filters, and easy to use, if that's over whelming just hit the random option and get a nice surprise. The various filters model how the old chemical films would develop images and when combined with dust & light leaks and other controls, images take on an absolutely great vintage vibe. I bought the pro version very quickly. I have tried many, but this for me offers an unbelievable range of choices.

I really love this. I really do. ❤ But can I save on my SD card? My internal storage cant handle anymore stuff. If not, can you add it as a feature? Edit: I believe I found a bug. Apparently, the flash wont work if you took the picture in succession. For it to work again, you need to turn the flash off and on again. I hope you fix this.

I wish there was a way of seeing live before taking a picture what it would look like so we can change the filters and an option to turn off immersive mode would be great for me to quickly back out of the app after taking a picture. I'm not going to drop 5 stars as I'm still quite happy with most pictures and videos made.
