After the most recent set of patches the app no longer works on the Samsung galaxy 9 note. When you try to open the app you get a message that is barely visible that states that the app has violated security and will be shut down and all you can click is ok and get no other information as to what the violation was or is.
App is now crashing on some Samsung s21 and s22 phones. Reporting security violation. Really expected better from the CU and IT dept. App has been troublesome for past year. Cannot depend on a stable experience. Hate being forced to use web App to get basic tasks done. Really poor performance 1st Advantage!
This a great app! You can see the pending payments and makes it easier to plan around my finances.
Absolute junk!! It won't even open since the upgrade. I've reinstalled several times and no luck. Thanks a helluva lot!!
Newest update doesn't work on Note 9 or Galaxy Z Fold 3. The app displays a message saying it has violated a security policy and then shuts down.
The app CONSTANTLY crashes! Can't even look at the remaining balance on my account. It's a mess
I like the fact that I can check on balances and do transfers easily. I would have given a 5 star, but sometimes when trying do make a deposit, even though it is in small amounts and the front and back of the checks clear, the deposits get rejected. There is never an explanation. Not sure what is going on in this department. -------- Update: Someone from the mobile app department emailed me and said that I needed to add " for mobile deposit" on the back of the check. Thank you!
Very happy with this app. Can do all I need to here, or otherwise online.
In my opinion its pretty easy to use and transfers very fast
Credit Card transactions no longer show in the app. When you click "show transactions" there is a message that says "no relevant transactions". Super bummed, I now have to log into the website and click a bunch of stuff to review my Mastercard transactions. This is far less efficient than the old app.
Found out that I have to go to 1st Advantage website to find out my credit card balance as it will not show up on the app! on the app it says minimum payment $0 this is a major problem that needs to be dealt with immediately it can cause a lot of people to be late on their credit cards why this hasn't been escalated as a number one priority is beyond me!
I'm not sure who heads the IT department that spearheads the 1st Advantage app project, but... as patient as I am I'm getting close to reaching my limit. Currently it tries to open then crashes without showing any account data. It's been buggy for several years now. Not a fan. Free Advice: Check out the Capital One app.
The app is awesome. Everything works just like it's supposed to. Great job.
The app is good for many things and I normally have no issue with it. My only issue currently with it is that when you have a credit card also, you will get a Constent scrolling which makes it difficult to see if you have made a payment without going to the actual web site, and you also cannot see what the current payment needed is for either Loans or credit w/o going to the main page.
The phone is saying that the app keeps crashing and using up the battery... When I close the app, it still sits in the notification section at the top of the phone screen until I hit close all... Hope they fix this problem... I should give them 1 star but I'm being nice. (had to put it in deep sleep)
I have used the app for years, but during the past several days the app won't even open. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app at least two times, but when I click on it, I get a white screen and then it closes completely. I can access my account only if I go through a browser.
This app should interface with Android OS so that when you hold on the app it brings up options like the "instant balance". Similar to how other apps like messengers work and you can press and hold to bring up a new message or a specific contact to text. Would improve the experience for sure! Edit: Now I can't see my 1st advantage credit card interactions? Lowered my rating because of this I have to go to the website instead of this app now.
The set up of this app is poorly designed. It is difficult for me to find what I am looking for. It needs to be completely reprogrammed to make it easier to see the items that I need to see. For example. I look for the amount I need to pay on the HELOC loan every month. I cannot find it on this app. I have to go back to the main set up to find it. The credit card information what you have charged is printed from oldest to youngest. It should be the reverse.
Great place to bank! But can't check my account out half the time on the app. Constantly having to Uninstall & reinstall the app. Sometimes even that doesn't work so I have to go to the bank to get it worked out.
There's nothing wrong with hiccups and errors, it happens all the time with companies and with growing technology but maybe next time don't make it so close to the beginning of a new month or near the end of a month, not sure how everyone else works but those last weeks and beginning of the months are important for balancing and budgeting especially if you're the type of person to deal with it electronically. Everyone was so kind and help was great but just maybe next time think about timing?
Crashes the moment you click on it for my Samsung s20+
App hardly works, infested with error message or limbo loading screens. It provides you with the local branches number when these error happen. Which is pointless because they aren't the techs who maintenance the actual application and can only forward the issues on, not actually solve them.
All of my online interactions with 1st Advantage are some of the most consistently workable and swiftly responding of all of my online experiences. This app is another example of a well structured IT plan, capably staffed and closely monitored. Thank you.
The new interface is definitely a step up from the previous. To date I haven't had any issues with login which was a nightmare before, so that's good. Like that I'm able to pay my car note with a simple transfer.
I like the convenience and of using app, but I would like for it to have the ability to lock card or control notification of travel instead of having to always call the credit union.
Was great... suddenly won't even open. An error message pops up and disappears so fast I can't even read it. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Total bummer.
Have had nothing but good service from 1st Advantage. The app can mess up sometimes, and I have to look up my username and password when the app decides to "forget" them, which is annoying, but otherwise it is great. Was even able to hit a few buttons and make my car payment on a day the bank was closed.
