I had the same problem with the app not pairing because I got on the scale first and expected the phone and app to pick up the signal. However, when I first opened the updated app, it stated that no devices were paired with the app. I clicked the button to pair it, I was given several seconds to then get on the scale, it worked. I hope that helps.
I used to have this app when I first got the scales over a year ago, worked great. Now it will somehow and for some reason update, despite it saying its connected all the time. I have given up getting it to wait to update the records, I dont have 15 minutes to keep stepping on and off the scales and then it randomly asking of I want the data. Very poor on app developers, this worked, should roll it back.
Most recent update introduced at least two bugs. First, for those having issues connecting to their scales, Force Close the app, then turn Bluetooth on, THEN launch the app, and it should connect very quickly. The other bug forced the scale and app to use KG instead of LBS even when LBS is selected. Resetting the measurement choice in Settings doesn't always work.
Changed phone, can't pair the scale to the app. Edit: I see from other people's review that it's a problem of the update. Also, asking for the GPS coordinates doesn't make any sense. Hope for an update that fixes the problem, without asking for strange permissions.
This app is nice, I like the sync to my phone aspect. It was a little tricky to set up. You need to stay on the scale with your phone near by for it to connect. The only issue I'm having is that it will not show anything in history when I go there, just a gray screen.
Does not work since 2.0 update. GARBAGE! Will not be buying this rubbish from amazon again, does not sync with phone and bluetooth can't pick up the scales since they stupidly updated it to 2.0 version. Into the bin, do not trust this company.
No longer connects to the scale. The latest update is terrible. Seeing as this is clearly a consistent problem with numerous users, the creator should either roll back to a previous version or fix it.
Could be a good app, but it's only good for one weight measurement and then the scale wont communicate with my phone unless i uninstall and reinstall the app. Edit: now it won't bind to the app at all. I'm thinking it's an app issue cause it shows up in my Bluetooth devices.
It was great until it stopped syncing data with the scale. Tried to reset it by removing the scale and adding it back to the app and now it wont even bind the device. Really disappointed. Please fix it!
The app has stopped working. I confirmed I have latest update. It no longer pairs with the scale. It keeps telling me I need to bind it. But it's not finding the scale. It just keeps searching.
The app worked as expected until the new update and now the app fails to connect "bind" to the phone. Literally useless if you can't connect the app to the scale. 100% not a fault with my mobile phone
like others, this was working for me until an update. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. when it started, it wanted access to my GPS! its ridiculous that they want my GPS coordinates to connect to a bluetooth scale!
This app for 80% of the time better than the other app their other newer app but poor performance. I have to keep re-standing over and over until it reads my weight some times I have to wait until the next day. Doesn't make sense. You need better app development. I would say make improvements but you probably would make it worst so don't even update it. Leave it alone.
The previous version showed your loss. This one only says 0 gain. Not so encouraging It is much easier to stick it out through the hard days when see how much you have lost from you last weigh in.... PLEASE FIX
Android says it can't connect but the app itself does.. but how accurate are the readings? I have personal trained people for almost 30 years and competed in the Mr Universe (so I can judge fat levels pretty well) yet it keeps telling me that I am 33% BF! I know I cant be higher than 16% Also Visceral fat at 18 as well (danger levels) - I have a waist of 34". Confusing. It would have so much more potential if the readings were more accurate.
Garbage. I Can't enter my height so I can't move past the first page. When I tap on the height selector to scroll to my height, it closes.
AVOID! Pile of rubbish. App could not find scale at all. Scale itself only reads in kg or lbs, despite saying it has stone and.lbs option. Not happy at all that app requires GPS information. Scale will be returned.
I guess I'm the lucky one. Got my scale through Amazon today. App works amazing with scale. Never had a smart scale before. I'm low on water I see and obese. Everything worked out fine.
cant connect woth the scale! it scans and says its paired and then when i switch to Bluetooth to click 'health scale' it says it cant connect! FRUSTRATED.
Have been unable to get to work since using 3 times. Bluetooth on app open and still doesn't work. Should not be this damn hard.. waste of money could've bought a regular scale. DONT PURCHASE
I am unable to pair to device, which is compatible. It was paired before and somehow it got unpaired and I am unable to get it paired again.
A little tricky to pair but works fine for me now. You have to pair it while it's still on the user input screen, then hit submit and it will work (at least that's what worked for me) hope that helps others having trouble
Permissions are intrusive. App graph scales make it difficult to read. Very limited options.
This app works a treat. Simple to use, easy to read and follow. Appreciate the information as well so you know what all the figures and readings actually show. The only addition I would like is to be able to import data. All the readings from version one on a different device are missing from my new phone and version two. Which isn't really taking much away from the app, it still works and gets five stars.
