1C Big Keyboard

Very good now that the bugs in the dark mode are repaired. The keys however can become a minefield, if you hit the wrong key setting up, everything changes including the animal characters that you wanted. Overall a fantastic keyboard that can be customised and sized up to what you want. This is a better keyboard by far. Thank you developers.

Really liked it at first. Lost the predictive function and don't know how to get it back.

I bought a phone that has a common fault - it won't recognise touches on the very edges of the screen properly. The built-in keyboard worked fine...if you never use the spacebar, the backspace key or the letter p. It literally took the P. I downloaded this app and set it all up in about two mins. Problem solved! All keystrokes now register. Every lovely letter works once more. Many thanks! It was driving me insane.

This big key keyboard is terrific for us people who have large hands and find the built-in phone keyboards difficult to use. Even with the largest cell phone screen the standard QWERTY arrangement is a problem. This keyboard places each normal row of keys on two rows, which allows the keys to be bigger. It is similar to the Big Key Deluxe app, which is the one I used until a problem with the screen occurred. It is customizable with key size, color, languages that can be installed. Great!

Finally there is a keyboard that works every, single time on my antique Android 5.1 phone! It has never glitched out, as so many do.There are about a zillion customizations not mentioned in the Play Store write up, so it's worth installing it & exploring. Some of my favorites include: SIZE- I like a keyboard to be as large as possible, but in some apps, a giant size will cover the words I'm typing. The developer made changing the size ultra easy. Simply long-press the spacebar, tap the Settings icon & choose Keyboard View. Cool, huh? PREDICTIVE TEXT- The word prediction in English has been spot-on so far. (I have not tested the other languages that I know.) LETTER PREDICTION- This is one of my favorite features. The app not only predicts words, but anticipates the next letter(s). It greys-out the other letters. (You can turn this off separately from word prediction if desired.) LAYOUT- The common sense layout is easy to get used to. OTHER- You can put a shortcut to the settings menu on the home screen for easy access outside of an app. I use this because I know what size works best for Messaging & what works best for Mi-Moment, so I can pre-set the size before opening the app. You can also swap languages quickly. (Download the dictionaries separately) And a fun item to mention- When the keyboard opens the animation is quite cheerful as the letter populate the keyboard. So I certainly recommend that you try this application & explore. If you dislike it, it can easily be uninstalled. For me, it is the best of the many keyboards that I have used. The only change I'd like is that I wish I could store the app & dictionaries on my SD card to save phone storage. If I put it on the SD card, it gets de-selected on every phone re-start. (This might not be an app controlled item. It might be an Android short coming.) Thank You for building this app!

This keyboard has MANY great features, which make it very desirable, however it is so buggy that it makes typing messages ten times longer than necessary. The cursor shoots all over the place; words in random places get changed when typing. Its a mess. I really want this to work. One feature that would make a huge difference would be an undo button, so i can undo the mess this keyboard makes.

I tried the app, and liked it immediately, except for the ads which took up space. I then purchased the app, and worked well in getting rid of the ads. Much easier to use with out them. But one big problem...I am unable to use the emoji icons in sms text. Instead of the picture, a small black triangle with a white question mark inside is shown instead. I have tried all different ways to get it to work, but to no avail. Settings are no help, and help button gives contact information, but unable to send an email,(on website, it is in Russian language). I would like to know how to fix this, then I will give it 5 stars, when I can use the emojis.

The app does what it says. It works. It's very customizable. Its also slow and clunky, has tap animations- probably can be disabled. Too much going on for someone who simply wants to pop up a big keyboard, type, send, and move on. Messed around with it and uninstalled. Costs $9 US to remove the ads forever. $2/Mo subscription

I've been using 1C keyboard for a few weeks.I liked it at first, but then I must've hit a wrong key and the keyboard organization switched from the usual QWERTY key order to ABC order. I've sent a help request twice but have not gotten a response. There's a help link but there's not much there. There are other settings also, but you can't tell what they do. This really needs a good help section and messages sent via the contact link should be answered Too bad, good app otherwise.

I liked this app at first, but lm extremely disappointed ln their failure to fix some of the obvious shortcomings. One, seen above, is that it doesn't recognize contractions, so you have to go to the 123 screen to insert an apostrophe. The worst, though, is that if you enter "i", it autocorrects to "it", rather than "I". That is totally idiotic programming!

A must for us cursed with hammer thumbs. Wide keys (not merely tall) and the option to make the letters blaze orange if you like (if you have failing eyesight to go with your hammer thumbs). The ads are annoying, but then again, they're supposed to be. 10 bucks is steep, the devs know this, which is why they allow you to 'rent' it at 2 dollars for 3 months. The typing speed is a wee-bit sluggish, and some symbols are missing (like dollar signs). Yet, I've never texted quicker

I don't have large fat fingers but being a very senior citizen my hands shake a bit. I have installed this keyboard on my car after market Android media unit and it helps enormously. The other issue I have is because the car is right hand drive, you need to use your left hand to control the media unit. I just couldn't use the standard keyboard with its small keys. Now I can. Thankyou, thankyou.

I assume that this keyboard would be useful to people who need larger keys for dexterity and/or sight reasons, however those of us that are used to typing in a qwerty keyboard the positioning of the keys is very awkward. I found myself making more errors because keys that are normally on the same line are spread over two or more lines. I found that my physical memory of where keys are supposed to be in relation to each other required too much concentration to overcome; this slowed me down.

Overall a good concept. Sometimes you press a key and get a different letter. For me the 'n' is too close to the space bar. No microphone to voice to text. Has issues and if you don't pay 6.95 you get ads. Guys you need to work on this. Your nowhere close to a 6.95 app price yet. Just saying. I uninstalled it.

I'm not sure why this happened but recently if I go back and read over my message... If I spot a mistake and click somewhere on the word... It used to give options of words to replace it. No more! I get a gear icon, smiley, microphone, left arrow, right arrow, and what looks like a keyboard with a down arrow key when pressed it collapses the keyboard. This never used to be the case. I have tried all options. Have I missed something? Thank you, James

Only had it for a few days. I like a lot of the features - predictions, screen with arrows, etc., custom keys. But I just can't get used to where the keys are placed. I wish it had the option to have a regular keyboard layout for those who don't need the fat finger layouts.

This actually is an excellent keyboard. However, why is it that when I'm about to text on the Messanger app, the keyboard letters are all over the screen, from top to bottom, and from side to side. The texting letters mingle with the keyboard letters. How distracting and confusing, to say the least.

Need key sensitivity to be more precise, less generous area. Make person touch key in middle of key and not also touch dn extraneous key near it when entering a given key. I don't use predictive mode, it is very disconserting when keys appear and disappear.

I really appreciate all the work that went into the making of this fantastic and much needed keyboard. Best of all, it is FRENCH! Great features and it automatically puts in a space after every comma and capializes after every period. Only keyboard I will use on my Android.

The reason I gave it one star, the concept is great and needed.Anyone who has held clerical positions, like myself, always commanded outstanding wages, especially if one could type 120wpm which I did consistently, with very few errors. My point, when I was taking the usual steno subjects...typing (on a manual typewriter), shorthand (no recorders), and intense grammar!! We also had to learn the QUERTY KEYBOARD, that you could type WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED!!.YOUR app fails to measure up in that area!

I need to write in French and Portuguese as well as English. The touch/hold facility for bringing up diacritical options is spot on for me. I try to hold the keyboard view at 50% but it occasionally takes itself to 100% which is a minor irritation but quickly sorted through the easiky accessible options. Very happy, thanks. David

I like the concept, but the layout is too dissimilar to US keyboard layouts, and I have great difficulty finding certain symbols, such as @. But that said, it's very geared towards international symbols, alphabet letters, and accent marks.

Like EVERY other keyboard app, the devs of this one also miss the point that accuracy isnt about making the contact size BIGGER - on the contrary its cross pressing that causes the problem - what we all NEED is a keypad design where the contact area is a tiny spot in the middle of each button - so cross pressing / mis pressing is much harder to do!!!

I like it for the layout , but not for the colors schemes. Need more choices. Dislike how the ads bar scrolling above it seemingly causes delays in typing letters. Pay $ 9.99 one time. no ads for life. BUT is information stored in a secure manner ? Uninstalled it 20 minutes ago but it's still there?

Like this keyboard app not intrusive with its adds whatsoever. I can change size of board and colors and shades of color of keyboard manually and in 8 different areas of the whole keyboard. Like the key pad color the color of the letters the backround color the option pads on its settings whenever i want to keep things different or match a new phone case color. Love the way it helps on spell check and suggestion and corrections never had to argue with this keyboard and retype what i already typed cuz of some keyboards auto correct is over aggressiveness. Try it its a good fit for me at 6 foot 3 240 and broad with sausage fingers. Okay okay and chubby😉
