1st Source Bank Mobile

I have used many different banking apps because of living in different areas of the country and this by far the worst when it comes to taking pictures. Of checks. It always causes me to take many pictures because it seems to rarely think that the picture is clear. This time it kept saying to show the endorsement which was perfectly clear. I finally gave up and decided to send it with the "endorsement not seen" because of the frustration. We'll see it its accepted. It has been before!

I'm not sure if this is just a problem of my phone or the app but for some reason the app can't be opened it just says "1st Source bank app keeps stopping..." which was weird, so I tried to send some feedback and the pop-up for that also kept shutting down, might be the recent update for my phone that caused this, other than this recent thing the app has worked perfectly, just thought I would comment on here then call on Friday if the problem isn't resolved by then.

intuitive, efficient, and convenient. I do have trouble from time to time with the camera function: It is often hard to get the check in the right light so that the camera works properly. Also, wish it had a bigger deposit minimum. I live 45 minutes from a branch, so it's very frustrating to have to drive to the branch to deposit a check because it's $50 over my minimum.

Love that you can control your card. I had to lock my card to prevent anybody dishonest from using it when I had left it at a place of business. All ended up well. It gave me such peace of mind. I also like that it let's me know when a purchase has been made on my card. If I didn't make the purchase all I do is lock it and let my bank know. 1st rate app for sure!! Love it!!

app wont even load on new phone, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. when the app did work there was no option for account notifications and the text notifications they have online are a day or two behind. there are a lot of bugs and usability features that need to be looked at.

This is a terrible app. The deposit feature simply does not work; it does not recognize a signature. I have tried it on different devices...uninstalled and reloaded etc... I have never been more frustrated I feel compelled to write a review. If 1st Source sees this - please fix it!

For over a week this app crashed every single day. I haven't been able to check my balances (other than calling the # on my card) or do any kind of billpay. I have reported it many times when it has crashed and there has been no.. hey guys we're fixing the app or hey guys we realize there is a bug. Pissed off enough to think about switching banks.

I loved this app til today. Suddenly I can't do anything with it except look at my account balance. The options of going back to accts if I switch off of them is gone. I have to sign out and back in to go to my accts page. I no longer have zelle or transfers or check deposits at the bottom either. Just a bunch of buttons that are useless to me. Very irritated now.

Everything I use PC for I can do with this app, plus! Update: Since the added security measures have been active I have a LOT of trouble accessing my accounts. I dislike having to use texted code everything I use app. I NEVER receive the texts. The help person for the app was unable to correct that.

It needs to automatically deduct money from a bill pay payment, so you don't overdraw, everyone has issues with that, and anything you can do to help with that would be awesome.

I use it several times a day. It does what I need it to do. Except lately, (11/13/2021), its been coming up as the old version. The bottom row buttons are like the old version with "bill pay" on the bottom row, not under "more". The only thing that it will do is show transactions. Nothing else works.

Have had and still have many cards. This is the best app I've used. Simple and fast. Transferring money from account to account takes less then 1 minute and is usable. Card control on and off takes max 2 minutes to activate. Zelle capable and built in. Great app!!

Check deposit never detects endorsement on the back now that it has updated. I have to trace it over and over again until my signature doesn't even look legitimate and then it finally recognizes it. Hopefully someone can look into this and fix it. Before this it was a great way to deposit checks!

The locating a branch or ATM feature on this app is super cool. The app works well and is so far easy to navigate. Update: 3/23/2021. This app is very well done, easy to use and at a quick reach 24/7. Transfers are easy, it's well designed and easy to understand. 08.02.2021

For the most part, it's good. But for the last year or so (through several updates) every time I try to photograph a check, the app crashes.

The app functions to show your balance, allows transfers between a counts and mobile check deposit. It lacks the ability to show upcoming bill payments as pending for checking accounts. I also dislike that you have to opt-out for paper statements or be charged $3.00/month.

This application continues to be an exceptionally poor user expensive. I use three such services and this one just doesn't work reliably. I end using snail mail to deposit checks, with the unwanted risks of that. Non functional on a galaxy edge8. Selected checks work on galaxy s7 edge. ironically, unable to deposit checks from this very bank. With this dismal functionality, the app wants the user to write "Mobile deposit only at 1st source bank" on back of check which makes unpleasant

I do not like the change in the app where pending transactions do not show any longer. It just shows a difference in available balance versus current balance. This is somewhat confusing.

Overall it works fine. When photographing checks for mobile deposit there is an auto-capture feature turned on by default. It's garbage, but at least that feature is easy to disable.

This app makes everything that is complicated about banking quick and easy. The app is well organized and easy to understand. It's so awesome to be able to see how much is in my account, desposit checks form home, or tansfer money. I absolutely recommend this app to any new to 1st Source Banking.

Honestly, it's such a relief that this app worksnas well as it does. Being away at college, there aren't any 1st Source's around for a hundred miles, but the mobile app does everything a bank does save for dispensing bills. 10/10 highly recommend

I loved this app before the update. After it deleted my login information and got rid of my biometrics. Now when looking to put my biometrics back I can not find where to do that. I have looked everywhere and even Googled where to find them. It said to go to the settings but there is no settings only more and that didn't do me any good. Please put it back the way it was or fix it so I can use my biometrics as I don't like having to put my password in when other people are around me. Thanks!

This app is very useful and helps me control my debit card and set limits on the card. I can also block it if I lose it in a store or don't trust anyone and when someone tries to use it, DENIED! I recommend this app because with this app you are in control.

I appreciate the redundancy (double informational check) when scheduling payments in BillPay. The app is also more dependable than the website. I would like to see the list of bills PAYED in the app. At present, I only find the bills scheduled for payment.

The thing I hate the most is how long it takes to make a mortgage payment . It's a 1st source mortgage through 1 st source bank but it takes 4 days before the mortgage is paid . That's ridiculous . It's all electronics but if I want to pay 25 dollars extra it will go through the next day . . I think the app could use some work I actually should of gave it 1 star

Easy, reliable, fast, and as secure as you can get. I've banked here almost 4 years and have never had a moment's hesitation or fear of using the app. First Source has always been on top of things, and their customer service is outstanding!

I don't care for the bank much (not much for rewards), but the app is great! You can control your debit card (turn it on or off) from the app. Love that!
