20/20 Life Count
20/20 Life Count is a Magic: the Gathering life counter for two players. Its minimal design allows you to focus on the game while delivering the necessary information about life and poison totals. The intuitive user interface makes updating the game state effortless: swipe up and down to change life, poison or energy totals and reset the duel by swiping left or right. The app stores changes to all the totals, giving you the ability to review the game's history in case there is confusion. Shake you device to throw a pair of 20 sided dice or time your rounds with the round timer.

Place the app between you and your opponent to give both a view into the current counts. Make your FNMs and other non competitive REL games a better experience!
As the developers of the 20/20 Life Count app for Android, we want to make the following promises:
1) There will always be a free version of the 20/20 Life Count for Android. This is a hobby project that was built to improve games of Magic. If the app becomes popular, we might introduce in-app purchases for things like additional skins, but core functionalities will always be free.
2) There will be no ads. The goal of the app is to be a part of the best possible Magic: the Gathering experience, and the addition of ads would hinder the experience.
3) The app will require minimal permissions. No permissions are currently required, but in case this changes, the reasoning for the requirements will be explained in detail. The source code for the app is available for review at: https://github.com/quarian/bugfree-happiness.
4) Constructive feedback will always be listened to and answered to to the best of our abilities. Since this is a hobby project response times may vary.

Best life counter! But please update for new android versions etc!
The best MTG app
Perfect, I enjoy this counter the most of all the apps I've tried. The gesture control is fast and effective. All the features are useful and there's no annoying extras. The only thing I want that this can't give me is an edh mode. Currently struggling with the edh counters available, really hope the multi-player update comes soon.
I love this app. Very simple and functional. The shake to roll feature isn't too sensitive, and I appreciate the color schemes and counting poison and energy counters. Checking life history is also very easy to solve disputes between players. Things I think could be added are more customizable color schemes, and the option to add more players, because I often play with three or four people. However, I do like this app and appreciate it. Thanks for making this!
OMG I LOVE THIS LIFE COUNTER!! I've been browsing for life counters for a while and this one seems to cover everything a good life counter needs, while maintaining a clean modern look, and it doesn't have corny backgrounds like the rest of them :D. This will be my life counter for a long long time.
This is almost a perfect life counter - it's free, aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and ad-free. There's just one flaw - whenever your device is shaken the app will automatically roll dice, which is irritating and disruptive. There's no option to disable this 'feature'. A simple toggle in the settings would make this a five-star app.
This is a great app, the only three critiques I have are: 1. The shake feature for dice roll is too sensitive sometimes 2. Sometimes I get stuck in the dice rolling feature 3. Make the shake and swipe features be able to be turned off
My friend and I use this app daily. It is amazed because it is plain. It doesn't have fancy art or live wall.
Single developer doing the stuff we don't know how to, and not asking for anything in return other then a like an a share. Simple effective even use the scanner works great for me. Good job. Great work. Can't wait for anything new.
I found this by watching Tolarian Community College. It's as good as he said it was. No special permissions needed by the app when you install it, no ads, just a simple app. Perfect.

Best 2 player life counter app for Magic: The Gathering! I'd love to see a dedicated EDH/Commander app with the same simplicity and style!
I love the app!! You should add the function of changing the color of the font equal to the color of the mana (red, blue, white, green and black). Whit this the app would be spectacular great!!!

Changed review to five star considering fast developer response and myself missing the one feature I wanted that was already there. App is great for a no frills life counter. Could not recommend more.
No ads, everything works there really is nothing to complain about here. Almost all the other apps are free and work too, but the adds are so obnoxious. I don't need a fancy background to play magic I need a life counter that works efficiently, and this is it. Great job!
Great app. Does what it needs to do, nothing more nothing less. 5stars if it had the ability to add more players.
What can I say? It's exactly what every MtG player would like in a digital life counter. Simple, easy to use and ad free. I dont usually give reviews to apps but this one deserves a few minutes of my time.
Suggestions for future: a little more colour schemes. Throwing dice by shaking doesn't fully work on xperia z1 compact. Portrait rotation and flipping the counters.
I love the layout. I also wonder if a solid black background would be of benefit to those using an OLED screen. Edit: It does!
Works perfectly, great UI and no ads. Black color scheme also helps conserve battery if you're using amoled screens.
Small footprint, no adds, 3 themes, spot on. Would be nice to be able to customise the colors though. Thanks.
Hands down, the best counter you will find on the app store. Don't bother with anything else. Just use this. No ads, and simple to use. Very clean interface.

Intuitive, simple and clean! I'd like to explicitly see the number of life points being substracted or added as you tap/swipe. Love the round timer! I think adding it a chronometer function would be great. Thanks!
