This was my first evening in over a year of trying to increase my physical activity level by exercising. I have some physical ailments that I exasperate by pushing myself to exercise beyond my comfort level, but the exercises in this app were simple and accommodated the beginner. Also, I'm learning to stop/modify if an exercise causes a painful strain. The animation, the descriptions and the exercise demonstrations made it easy to follow and keep up. I will definitely continue to use the app.
really good for beginners and the timing in-between work outs is perfect compared to other apps that give only 9 seconds intervals. It would be perfect if there would be a humane voice to assist with the entire workout, like a trainer. But besides that, it really is very good.
The get ready flashing words block off a lot of what you trying to see on how to do the Exercise correctly. Without any verbal instruction sometimes it's hard to know if I'm doing things correctly. It would be handy if there was a timer letting you know how much time was left in your workout.
The exercises where not complete nor discouraging. I was able to get through the complete workout. the pace is great for beginners. I finished lightly sweating and actively breathing. I enjoyed the workout and best of all, you can do them anywhere.
Wow that didn't feel like 20 mins! I know I need to start exercising. I tell myself each day that I need to go to the gym or for a walk, but that motivation just isn't there yet. I spend a lot of time indoors and decided to look for a beginner's exercise app. I was able to skip the Facebook connect thing and skip putting my email in with no issues. I decided to hit Start. Each exercise was demonstrated then it was my turn. Each of my exercises used a wall or chair. I felt better after😁
Cant even begin a workout without signing up for a free trial! You have no idea what the exercises even are or if it works for you. Totally uninstalled immediately. At the very least someone should be able to see if they like the examples/guides and if the workout is for them before starting a trial!
I love that it starts off really easier for someone from doing exercise in a sitting position to be able to continue to do more at their pace...would like more detail or maybe a little stretching in the beginning and ended..if these are made I will go back and give it 5 stars...Also give a little longer trail would be good too..price is prefect...love this app..
The periods between the exercises are too fast, I maybe just have the wrong app for me. There's just a not time enough between each exercise. I am an older person with knee problems and hip problems. Maybe down the road this would be a good app for me but not to begin with.
I am flatfooted, but young. I liked the exercises. This is the only workout app that doesn't make my feet hurt. My weakness is my lower body, otherwise my upper body and abs can work miracles. I can do like 300 situps, without resting and can do at least 30 pushups, but I liked this app the best, because all the exercises, including the lower body are easier than on other apps. I wish this was all workouts for free. Yeah and also liked the fact that there's some kind of boxing and kicking too.
As someone with autism and coordination issues I've find all the workouts out there very hard but with this app they show you every exercise slowly and the exercises make you feel like your getting something out of it without being to taxing on the brain
Best workout app! I have tried several and even YouTube. Nothing compares. This helps with beginning and working your way up slowly at your own pace. The easiest excercises, especially if you have lived a sedentary life for any amount of time.
I am familiar with the workout and it was on point. I felt the exercises where I needed to feel it and my heart rate increased. I am looking forward to this 3 times a week along with elliptical and machine assisted ab crunches. My goal is to lose 20 lbs within the next 3 months. And away I go!!!
Looking for an at home routine? This app is ONLY FREE to download. It is NOT FREE to use. You get 1 routine ONLY. Do not download if you don't want to spend money. if you choose to spend the money the app is slightly more worth it. The exercises ARE GOOD for beginners who want to workout at home.
I just don't feel comfortable with letting any other app than camera apps taking photos and/or videos, or having access to my files...! (For those reading this who are confused about what I mean, please see the "App Requirements" section, under the "About" tab).
Why do all these apps say to subscribe and pay when it says it is free? Please do not keep doing this. I am searching for a free workout app that is for beginners, i have arthritis, fibro, and it is so hard to find a free app that is actually free. I am dissapointed again.
I am disabled and this is the 1st workout that i can not only participate in each task but actually finished! very affective and the workout seems effortless which makes it seem quick!
I love how accessible the exercises are! I've been searching for an exercise routine that goes at my own pace, and I've finally found one!
This app is not "free"; you can make a free account, but to access ANY workouts, you have to purchase a subscription. An app is not worth it if the developers sink that low to get downloads.
Really like the different levels. I would like the instructions for the next exercise during the Get Ready phase rather than the Exercise phase.
Awesome workout for someone who hasn't worked out in awhile. There are options for your fitness level which makes it adjustable.
To use a 7 trial you have to pay up front which is not a trial especially if you don't like the app you don't get a refund and the app developer wants to avoid responsibility of refunds, by getting you to contact Google Play Store for a refund. zero out 5 stars.
I enjoyed the workout and felt the effectiveness. It's the perfect beginners workout for me.
since it has been a while and I've had two simple hip surgeries, this is a nice way to ease back into doing exercises.
Easy to use. Clear instructions complimented by diagram. Ideally, having the verbal instructions during the countdown would enhance this app.
I love it. I have spinal problems and i had not been able to workout for a very long time until i found this app.
I have a severe back injury. I was able to complete the beginner workout using the chair. Very well thought out!
I DID NOT LIKE THIS APP! I was excited to try it at first but then didn't realize I had to put my card information in after I had gone through so many steps.
I was out of breath after 20 minutes. Very simple exercises that I was able to complete and super happy with it.
Great app so far. I've been able to do the workouts, but I can definitely feel it and the results. I'm gaining flexibility already! My only complaints are my daily reminder has just stopped on my Pixel 3. I've checked notifications are on in both the app and my phone settings. An if I go back one click to the Get Ready screen for an exercise it does that one, but then jumps back to the very beginning of the workout. I just click forward to where I need to be, so it's a minor annoyance.
