Latest update: forget searching for custom workouts, the moment you select for specific things, it tosses out many workouts that would apply. It's better to not select any criteria for a search and then manually find the workouts that fit what you need. Audio workouts still have a LOT issues, like the audio being drowned out about half the time by your music (instead of the app lowering the music volume like it should), or the app falling asleep hallway thru a workout.
App shouldn't be forced on people who just want to check in and out without all the extra stuff. Should be able to screenshot the check-in barcode and use that instead of the app. Bad user experience design!
Update ruined the app. I used to use this for touch free check in and it worked great because it remembered my credentials so I just had to open the app and scan at the counter. After the update I have to log in to the app every other day which involves typing in a full username and password sequence. Every my bank app lets me use a finger print to log in, way faster. Now the app is worthless, it's faster to just use the keypad at the counter.
Suddenly couldnt get onto the app, it cant locate me at the right gym to do face recognition sign in and has an "update your app" error when i try to reserve classes so i can never reserve a class. All this despite talking to online service, 2 in club service members and removing then reinstalling the app. It is basically non-functional.
Like the app however this new update is not as friendly. It has smaller font when looking at class instructors. You have no idea if you are number 1 or 15 on the wait list. You may want to choose another class if you are number 20 on the wait list. When you tab over under coaches to look for a coach, They all are not listed. All the coaches need to be listed so you can find out where their classes are. Only way to look at where they teach is to click on the tiny font name.
I love the 24 to go virtual classes and have been doing them for over a year. However lately I plan to go to classes and then the link does not work or the class disappears from the schedule when I go to log in. I've tried to contact support but I was told by a 24 hour club that there is no support for 24 to go so I should post a negative review here and someone will contact me.
Getting ripped bro. Realistically and jargon aside, it has be easy to use the app to learn and schedule workouts. Alreadying feeling changes at 2 weeks. I have gone 9 of 14 days and want to go more. This app motivated me.
They changed it. Now it takes forever to sign in. Easier to ditch the app and sign in with your finger at the club. In response to your comment, your new policy of sign in credentials are exactly the problem. It's like you think going through the hassle of manually entering in information each time is somehow preferable to sticking your finger on the pad. Signing into a club should be quick and easy, not laborious to the point of having to enter in your credentials repeatedly every time you want to work out.Did someone actually think that was a good idea? I stand by my statement -- ditch the app. It's more painful than the workouts.
Devs keep deleting my review. Individual workouts reset progress and workout time when using a workout plan... This happens whenever I lock my phone screen and unlock to begin the next workout.. Very irritating. My review has been deleted two times already in the span of a week......
Constantly have sign in issues with app but not website. FIX YOUR APP you created bugs with this new update. Ive updated my password 3 times and still cant sign into the app. Deleting app, is less stress then using app.
Forced to use app to enter gym, 10mins wasted setting up an account. Supposedly, it's to "reduce exposure to viruses ", but it's a gym...no one is wearing mask and everyone is touching everything all the time. And only now, 2 years into a pandemic is it required 🤔
Update: logged in with credentials as recommended and it seems to work now. The ap should be updated to give this instruction without having to hear from the Dev team. So annoying to have to sign in every time now. Not necessary to log me out immediately. Is somebody going to steal my workout history or something?... It's faster to checkin in with the (non-contactless) finger print reader at the front desk.
The only thing worst than this app. Is the gym itself. Member of 24hr for yrs. Don't know what happened, they use to be a contender in the gym market but now they are a has been. This app keeps logging me out and not accepting my info to get back in. Just give door person your code and don't waste one mb of phone memory on this worthless app.
Well, this app used to be way better, but since the last update, everytime you go to the gym, you have to re-login. It no longer remembers you. As if we don't have enough passwords and user id's to remember. Before I could just click on the app, go to check-in, and bad Bing bad boom.... in. Now you don't even have the option for it to remember for you. Please fix!
App was updated recently. Went from touchless login back to using the keypad. You have to load ALL your info everytime and hope it works. They probably want to ditch the touchless login and this was the quickest way to do it. One star because it won't do zero. BTW team did contact me but nothing got fixed.
The whole having to use the app to login sucks. They say it is to create a touch free way to login but if your so worried about touching stuff then good luck working out! The real issue is that your gyms are filthy which is why I called the health inspector.
Awful...too many glitches!!! I've been a member for over 20 years. This app keeps locking me out and the support is useless! I'm unable to use it so it makes checking in at the gym arduous.
Since the update, you now have to manually enter membership information everytime you open the app. The point of the app should be making checking into a club fast, easy, and convenient, and this update now makes it the opposite. At least save the membership info and give us the option for a biometric login. Otherwise, there's no reason to use the app anymore.
Cant login with email or birthday. The lady at the front desk said everyone's having the same problem with the app and to not use it and just do it the old way. Why does 24 hr fitness always have issues. Planet fitness and EOS apps work perfectly fine, but 24 hr fitness apps are always problematic. You keep responding to all the reviews saying the same thing. That we need to log in with new credentials but you're not explaining how to do it. Now go ahead and reply with the same generic response
Used to work. Now Android app is buggy. Doesn't let me use my email and password to login. Makes me jump through hurdles and gi through "forgot/reset password" protocols to login...and logs me out after 5 minutes. App hasn't kept me logged in for almost a couple of months now....
Convient app, allows you to sign in ,keep track of workouts and even register for classes! Absolutely love it!
Claims I don't have an active membership when I do and isn't letting me reserve classes. There's also no easily accessible tech support- I've spent about an hour searching for someone to talk to.
UPDATE.... okay! Thank you for fixing it. Did you forget the link the username password database to the app? Please know that answering everybody's complaints with the same cut and paste answer that it was OUR fault, and basically saying we were too stupid to login, just makes 24-Hour Fitness dues-paying members mad. I'll give you one more star for now.
It sucks. If you have an android and have to add your birthday. You are screwed. Must flip month by month. Sucks!!!!!! Thank you for your response. Two team member and I spent an eternity trying to check in now that you have to sign in with the app. Maybe redesign the birth date feature so you can type it itln instead of scrolling.
There's literally hundreds of other people complaining about the same issue, get your act together! I have reset my password a million times, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and it's still the same issue. Since the update you have to manually add your information to log in and now it won't even allow me to do that! Listen to the feedback and correct the issue. It's really not that difficult!
My correct log in info doesn't work on this app anymore since the update. I checked with the desk at my gym on 3 separate occasions. Not one person could help me and now I sign in with my finger scan. Wish I could see classes and track my workouts like I used to!
Garbage. Forces me to sign in every single time I interact with the app, and the email address that it tells me it has on record for me it doesn't actually work for the sign in. So I have to use my date of birth, which means scrolling through a bunch of years since it won't let me actually type in a date. Did they even test this on android?
I want a specific gym to sign up for a class. I click "search gym", classes", get a message "there are no classes ". I checked all nearby gyms for classes and I get the same message. Had to call the gym to sign up for a class. Frustrating. I don't need to see all gyms in the county to search for a class.
Terrible. Go tv videos disconnect every few seconds. Says "no internet' even though I'm connected at 800mbps. Please fix.
Update is terrible. I can't see the classes I've signed up for in 1 list right off the home page. Before it was the "manage" button that took you to your schedule. Now you have to use the calendar and flip through until you find 1 at a time. It's difficult to work with not seeing your entire schedule and the extra mess.
