2D Wave Simulator
You must be careful when setting equation parameters. Too big values, or someparameter values combinations may lead to numerical instability (for example: big nonlinearityfactor: 2.0 and much smaller other parameters).
Using application:STEP1: you may change your equation parameters on Advanced tabSTEP2: you may change wave initial shape by tapping Define Shapeand changing this shape using your finger.STEP3: You may add some boundary conditions by tapping Define boundariesand tapping on places when you desire one.STEP4: Start your simulation by tapping Start Simulation button.
During simulation You may choose between three ways of visualization (Visualise tab):-spectral view-3d chart view-3d bar view
It is recommended to use tablet devices.

Great app a bit too advanced for me. Wish we could remove boundaries entirely, but assume that would defeat the point.
Won't function without internet access. Can't imagine why it needs the network, so it's gone.
it is a very fun game its so fun to make different patterns and watch the waves

Lovely 2D wave tank, nice access to equation coefficients. Would like to have better control setting boundary shape my fat finger isn't very accurate, and would love to have tied boundaries too.
Needs to have a 'Zoom' function after increasing X,Y segments. Also there is no 'Eraser' function if you make a mistake since you cannot zoom in.
