- Schedule an appointment with the doctor you choose
Within 3 days you will speak directly with a top specialist who has all your medical records. Your doctor will provide you with expert advice and send you a summary in 24 hours. You also can request a list of local, in-network physicians.

Contact your human resources department.
If your employer doesn’t offer 2nd.MD, contact your human resources representatives and ask them to add 2nd.MD as a benefit. You may also pay out-of-pocket ($3,000) for the 2nd.MD service.

Great experience, easy simple instructions on how to get hooked up for virtual chat and great people to give instructions all along the way. Websites easy to read and understand and again the people I talk to were extremely nice! And I know the difference because I work in retail, these are nice people!

Easy to use and the staff at 2nd md is very courteous and professional.
Generally OK but a little confusing log in. I logged in 20 minutes early to be sure and just before the call it looked like it wanted me to log in once again. Also an incoming call disabled the speakerphone function. The small screen of my mobile phone distracted from the communications. if you make the app usable on a Desktop or laptop, unexpected incoming calls would not interfere with communication.

My personal experience was better than going to the doctor. I had been seeing a pain doctor from 2007-2021 and never learned as much about why I've been in so much pain. Started seeing a new pain doctor in October 2021 he's been a little better. I can't wait until my next appointment to give him some history about me.
