Love the simplicity of the navigation and the ability to set favourites so easily. Works perfectly with Qnap/twonky
Great App for accessing our home NAS and playing mp3 over Bluetooth. Really happy.
Doesn't play .m4a files over upnp.
It wouldnt stream sound
Works better than anything else ive tried.
GARBAGE: UNUSABLE trial expires before launching 1 time.
Does it well
Only missing subtitle support to play my embedded mp4 subtitles. I purchased the license using the new in-app option at the great price too. I can't tell what the different display options do since both look the same.
It works fine on my Smartphone and Tablet, but doesn't work on my Minix Neo 5mini settopbox. I can see all my albums and albumcovers, but none of the m4a musicfiles can be played, and always gives the error "Unexpected error : The media server proces died", while all my servers are fine. MP3-files can be played though, but also play weird. Sometimes they are skipped halfway with or without the above error. Video's play fine. I tried to switch to WiFi (it's normally connected via ethernet-cable), but that doesn't bring a solution either. Also i tried the DLNA-UPnP version of this program (I see no difference except the file is double in file length), and the result is exactly the same. BS-Player works fine, but shows folders instead of albumcovers, but shows a cover full screen when a song is played. Shame since it works fine on Smartphone and Tablet and due to the albumcovers, gives me the same feeling as a kind of network iTunes. Pitty !
Paid and used other apps like imedia and flipps even used "my net" by Asus but this beats them hands down. Well worth paying for. Reduced to 4 stars as it has no equalizers
I did how ever pay the upgrade price but have not received the advanced features that you get with the paid version. Emailed the developer but have had no response.
No option to play with subtitles, it you add that feature I will change my review to 5 stars.
Wow. This is most amazing app and everything I have ever look for. What was the most important thing for me is that I wanted to streaming music from my NAS (MyBookLive) to my wireless DLNA speakers and when I found this app I can finally do that! So thank you all for this awesome application.
Only thing missing is a search option for music and a sort option for photos which I'd like to see.
Works well on Galaxy Note 3. Finds my DLNA devices and plays media without a hitch. Best feature and does it really well is creating play lists and queues from a mix of local and server media. Well done.
There is nothing about this app which stands out from the free options. It is a very laggy UI, even on Nexus 5.
I won't list all my "can't do that" software but this allows me to stream both ways. Had music on a Netgear NAS that I wanted to play thru my phone's bluetooth to a bathroom bluetooth speaker ... EASY.
The player works fine but takes a while when loading from a fast forward state. One of the pros of the 'trial' is that it's unlimited, not 48hours :)
Works out of the box . Simple straight forward interface. Add an equalizer please
Thanks very much for this app! I've looked at a few to do what I need which is controlling my dlna devices over my wifi network. This works very well. I would really like to see an option to select more than one device for output as it is limited to one. Also, while searching for albums or artists to play, when I go back to the main list, I'm forced to start searching from the beginning of the list. It would be nice to search from where I was previously. Would be nice to save play lists too. Love it!
Best of an odd bunch of media players. Not without its quirks but otherwise works well. My main niggle is going back to top of list when you return out of a sub-folder back to the main folder.
Looks nice and is very fast. This app needs bookmarks, hierarchical if possible, to be a very good DLNA/uPNP player. Also a dark mode (light font color) would complete it nicely.
Works really well using my smartphone to play music that is stored on my networked drive via bluetooth onto networked amp or smart tv
Working well. Streaming music from the WD wireless hard drive without any problems.
This is just as good as the 2.0 version!!! I haven't explored much of this version yet, but it looks like it has some more goodies. I had this program for years and I'm glad it hasn't gone away or been "too old" to use on newer phones. Keep up the great work and thank you for making music easy to navigate, fun to use, and all around user friendly!!!
