30 FPS vs 60 FPS
This app compares different frame rates through multiple animations.
• Choose one of the five animations, and witness the benefits of higher FPS.
• Check your screen refresh rate and current frame rate with the built-in fps counter.
• Play a mini game where you must guess the current animation FPS. It will train your eyes to detect if your games are running at 60fps or not.
Higher FPS are best appreciated in intensive action games, where objects on the screen are moving fast and missing one piece of visual information may cause your defeat.
From now on, request 60 FPS or more. Your eyes demand it.
The difference between 30fps and 60fps might be slightly less obvious on low pixel density screens.

Super cool. It gives you frame rate AND refresh rate. but I don't think it checks the hardware. it just reads what the hardware says. sometimes it felt lower than 30 fps in the low frame rate mode but the app kept showing 30 fps with no dips.
Hey, this app is really good, I didn't even know that my phone can run 60 fps, now I can watch it all day, the smoothness of 60fps without any lags. But we 90 and 120 fps for phones which can run 90 and 120 fps, my new phone have 90Hz screen refresh rate I think we can probably run 90 fps in some of games, so to check 90 fps we definitely need some updates in this, yes it shows that my screen refresh rate 90 but only 60 fps shows, its definitely not nice that you can't show 90 or 120 fps.
Wow this is very good application to check whether my Pixel 4 xl is running on 90 Hertz display or 60. Screen info is very useful. But now you should add 90 fps animation so we can see actual difference between different frame rates.
Really cool and informative, but it would be better if you could set specific frame rates and see an example of a game with that frame rate.
Haa .. haa ... my phone display is 60hz and full of background apps, when changing from text to car the phone display fps drop from 60 to 52 and unstable, my another Android got a stable 60fps system display, nice to know, maybe this phone not good for watching 60fps video
Love the app, but the description is not true. The myth is that humans are tricked into seeing smooth motion after 30fps. It is not a limit, but our minimum to perceive fluid motion.
This is really a great app overal, it's a fun way to show the differences between different variations of fps by using mini games to test your knowledge about it. Good job on the Dev for the idea.
It's kinda cool, but not very useful. Not to mention that the 30fps one stutters in the middle.
Useful to show to my friends that says that the "human eye can only see 30fps", just to justify that consoles are better than PC just because they play on 4K/30fps and are less expensive than a computer able to play in 4K.

Very I'm formative and educational! I just happen to bought a gaming phone and was surprized to know it has a refresh rate 60hz, now wonder all of my games fps can reach 60
Garbage, its just a few shapes going from left to right, and the framerate is next to them amd always top to bottom: 60-30-15 fps
Does exactly what it claims. I was unaware that 60 fps was such a huge difference over 30 fps. Now it will be less annoying when people seemingly cry about a game not being 60fps.
Not working. And as a graphic designer i can say 30fps is more than enough if its not a game. ^_^ most cinema movies are 24fps.

this is really cool and effective! can we have a 120fps setting to test razor phones? or an iOS version to test the iPad Pro?
You don't even need an app like this to prove that we can see more than 60fps, but you need an app for those stupid people who have never even watched YouTube before. Still fun to use tho

FALSE!!! The eyes can only see 24 FPS and anything higher our eys can't process and RESOLUTION IS JUST A NUMBER
Really it is a great app for understanding how fps really affect in real life..... Loved this app
Even though I removed it right after installing it. The value the app gave me was tremendous. It helped me compare all 15, 30 and 60 Hz at the same time. The apps animation was in fact, better at helping me compare the frame rates than YouTube videos. I also wasn't aware of the fact how the readability of moving text varies according to the frame rate. 5/5 :)
