Every time I try and add a photo to an issue from my library, the app crashes. Unusable so uninstalled and will go back to just using the website.
Totally obsolete and useless! Should be updated or deleted from Google Play...
Now the location gets an address automatically, but my first submission with this version got the address wrong by over a block.
Submitted a pothole request and it was fixed a few days later. App is easy to use. Geo isn't perfect (my location was half a block off) but you can search for the address with the magnifying glass.
Submitted request almost a year ago, no response.
This app is inferior in all ways to SeeClickFix. The layout is disgusting and unintuitive. Creating issues is harder than before, and now I have to actually remember to use this app for Somerville instead of SeeClickFix that is used by all other surrounding cities and towns. The transparency of issues has become worse. Before I could see issues reported by others and get email notifications on issues that I have created/watching. There was even a website. There are more complaints, but I ran out of space.
If the GPS doesn't get the address exactly right, there's no way to just move the pin or change it did it. You have to type the entire address manually. This is a big step back compared to the Commonwealth Connect app.
Impossible to view city wide alerts, such as road construction conditions or temporary parking bans.
I have registered an account, but when I try to submit a request, I receive the message, "Unfortunately, 311 Somerville has stopped," every time. I have not yet been able to submit a request before the app crashes. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5.
It worked reasonably well but stopped working recently. (Update) fixed as described below.
I like how easy it is easy to connect with my city though this app. Works great and I like the design. Would definitely recommend!
Works great, Would definitely recommend! 👍
Very happy with the new app for 311 service
Slow and broken. Can't add photos, the app crashes. Seems like this app is no longer supported. I'll start using the website. SeeClickFix is vastly superior.
