Having same trouble as others, app crashes when opening. However, training off data did not solve the issue on a Pixel 6 Pro running Android 12. Hopefully this gets updated to work with current versions of hardware and software. Would be a shame to think the drone is junk because of this garbage app not working.
App is pretty simple. Connect to the WIFI on your drone, be sure to forget the rest of the WIFI connections around you with internet so this app won't disconnect and connect to one of those. Film your videos, take your pictures. Not all files go into your gallery. So what you want to do is connect a USB cable from your PC or Tablet, then run the other end to your phone. Look under your phone folder, go to 360Flight, all of your files should be there. Drag and drop on your desktop and you're set.
Was really frustrated that I couldn't get it to work until I seen a review that said to turn off your mobile Data! Viola! Works like a charm! Distance varies with device of course, but you could use a mesh net/ repeater in some areas.
Turn off mobile data! Android has a problem in that when you connect to a wifi hotspot without internet access it doesn't use it. Hence, the app doesn't work for a lot of people. Turn off data and it'll connect to the WiFi.
Only rating 4 star because SOME, not all my videos are sent to my gallery on my phone, and the 1 video I made of a really good shot(29 seconds long) isn't in gallery and won't move to gallery like other videos that are larger or longer in length.....at this point I dont know how to do that, I even attempted to move all images and videos into my cloud and it STILL wont allow me to send it or save it......its aggravating, other then that it's a pretty good app
Been getting big into flying many different drones, The Dx4 is an AMAZING drone! The App is a different story.. It does get the job done but very sketchy at best. First it makes you go thru into turn wifi on and connect, many times unless you dont exit rather back-page to begining then it runs camera. Secondly, i cant get over 1 Block distance period. I been using a Galaxy S8 Edge Plus, going to try my Galaxy Tab A next. So yes it does work, but not well. The S.I. DX4 Quad on other hand... Amazing for the price, Any bad press on it can eat a Bag of D&$ks.
I've had nothing but a terrible experience with this app. I love how it says to enter the apps interface to enable streaming. Oooops, someone forgot to include a user-accessible interface. using an app I designed that has already proven to connect.
I can't even open the app. Anytime I click on it the app crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and it still doesn't work. The other versions (-L & -M) will open but they won't connect to my drone.
I remember using this with a drone I was repairing, but that was years ago, now this app just crashes out. I do hope it gets fixed, as it was simple and to the point.
Amazing This app is absolutely perfect. I got a drone today, on Christmas, and ive been fiddling around with it all day. The app makes the experience more astonishing. I have a DX-4 Streaming Camera drone like the other guy in the ratings. Fyi my guy, the drone has its own Wi-Fi, so yeah. But in all, the app is amazing.
App is junk. Will not work on my android based phone. Crashes upon opening as many have stated. Also appears that it no longer has dev support.
App no longer works. Crashes while opening and displays android message that it closed due to bug.
App now launches on my Pixel 2 XL but i cannot stream. I connect to the WiFi but the app says it's not. I've tried airplane mode & only turning on WiFi but it still won't stream. Thanks for the update but it's not quite there yet...
Haven't used it in awhile but I thought I would use it today and it connects to wifi but opening the app and trying to stream does not work anymore. No updates available.
App doesn't open and shows a black screen and force quits. I'm really disappointed and I hope this gets fixed.
When I tried to connect my drone it brung me too the internet. I tried to connect internet did not work. And the internet name was not the same as the app put it. Hopefully you guys can fix it. Thank you!
Just installed. Tried to open it several times with no luck. Kicked right out to home screen every time. Must not be for me.
Crashes when opening on S20+. It used to work fine for my DX-4 drone camera with a different phone.
it deos not work. it says to connect to the 360 wifi. dont even know what that is.. it comes up on my phone. but when i click on it. a message pops up and says "conncet to another wifi service. totally lost i think the whole thing is junk. waste of time
Worked great when I first got my drone but now the app crashes when I open it. Hope this gets fixed!!$)
Just like others, the app refuses to open on Samsung S21 Ultra. It doesn't look like the Company is looking at these reviews, as it seems this has been happening for a while now.
This drone and app were amazing. I haven't used it in a year and now the app keeps force closing before I can use it. This app needs an update desperately because it used to be amazing. Very dissapointed. Will update review to 5 stars if the devs fix it.
Latest update works on my Pixel XL now. It works ok. Not the best UI. Video could be better but it's probably just a cheap camera in the drone.
This app needs a major update. Does not work. Or a new one formed if you do not know how to program. Under a new engineer that actually knows what they're doing. Because they obviously don't do apps. Crashes immediately. As many others experience. Motorola G Stylus is one experiencing these problems. In reference. It is android. I did fix this problem on another phone I had years ago, I can't remember what I did. Something in manual boot settings. Had to change a setting. Might figure out again.
