Except for search(which says it's only for older android), works mostly. Uses a bunch of images for the 3D view, which is a total ~14 MB download. Has 3D for ~30 different parts of the brain, using image transparency for improved visuals. In addition to the 3D, there's a labelled image view and a text description view. The image quality is low but that's ok. Works as a quick ref
Nice app, but would be much better with a zoom function and the ability to rotate around the X and Z axes. Being able to select brain areas by touch and updates with more areas would also be quite nice.
This app has just one picture of the brain, labeled only with the most basic divisions, ie frontal lobe. You can spin the picture, but not with labels. There is also one page of text about the brain. It could be a web page, but not an app.
This is great but I hope they add more features such as...1.) Ability to zoom in and out. 2.) A slider bar to toggle opacity of the whole brain except the system you're focused on.
The whole idea is very good but the images are of very very poor resolutions. Plus it's not 3-D rather 2-D as it only rotates in one plane. Plus it seems to lag as it isn't very smooth while rotating the structures. :/
Not much information. The pictures are about the extent of it. It is barely interactive. By the looks of it I thought it be getting something with a bit more in depth anatomy and physiology. I don't think you can even see internal structures.
Great graphics, but certainly incomplete list of parts of a brain. Please include more so this app would become an ultimate visual reference tool instead of needing to google up what's missing. 😐
Haven't used it yet but it is clean, engaging and informative. Great idea & setup. More topics should be covered with this concise format, seriously. Thanks guys.
Text's visual quality is average probably because it's implemented as image. Just using acrobat to convert it to text would solve the problem and it's annoying especially in tablets
More a child's play thing, little or no movement and few moves. Very disappointed.
I enjoyed this app for years. The graphics and info are useful, but an update for resolution would be nice.
This does have very thorough information about the brain. Yet it doesn't mention Epilepsy. A common, yet feared, neurological disorder of the Central Nervous System.
Overall it's fairly good, however the 3d brain itself is so low resolution that you often cannot distinguish separate structures.
I love this app, except I feel the resources used are outdated. I see most are before 2010. I would like updated information.
One of the best app to learn easily about whole brain thing.
Love this app it helps me to understand my ADHD brain an my sons Autism a little better and would highly recommend this to everyone I know. That you for such a lovely app.
Overall a nice app, don't expect much. It nicely locates different structures of brain
It would be great if it got more features like neurotransmitters, pathways and information updates
I love this app! It's so easy to use, MMU sent me a link to it for my studies, it works great on my new device too
Love this app. I'm a cognitive neuropsychology student and it breaks down everything really nicely!
Having a zoom and multi axis rotation ability would be helpful.
Great app. Information for areas of brain and their functions.
Best app for students. It gives a clear picture to understand.
Just the quality of images is medium. Can be improved.
The best description of brain: Very good... It is compatible with 5 stars rating...
Now i have the power to exact where my energy is to stimulate with this exact replica model for activation. This is what i call help
Would be nice if the images were a little sharper and clearer
this is amazing app i realy learning many things becouse of this app problem only with this app is zooming is not occur otherwise ot is awessome
This app is in no way 3d. It is just an interactive set of still pictures, kind of like street view on maps. Which makes it impossible to manually select a brain region and see what it is. You can only select from a list and I guess that is fine but 3D makes me think of an interactive 3D model which this is not
