if you are implying this can be depended on for outdoor navigation I seriously disagree. in fact I would consider it dangerous. I understand the disclaimers you have about the compass being only as accurate as your phone, that is why I have compared it to other apps. When the phone is held flat it seems to get a true reading. but when I turn it at a 90° angle (upright) so that I can see the compass along with the landscape from the camera the reading is off considerably.

UPDATE: I just updated to Version 5.52 on my Android 11 phone.... thank you developer for fixing the frozen Marine compass issue I had in version 5.46.... the app is working great again! Here's my review of the app: I'm in real estate and use it for one of my listing photos.... really helps to differentiate my photos, and also looks like I hired a professional photographer : ) Gives buyers a great visual of which way the sun rises and sets in relation to the home.

I love so much I paid for it. Compass stays "on" even if I take a break while hiking. I text the screen shot to my wife when I leave on a trailhead.. The picture gives my GPS coordinates in case I get hurt or stranded. Love this app!

I've had this app for years and it just keeps getting better. You can pull up digital and satellite views where you're at. The compass points in the correct direction.

This compass has come in handy many a times! Merely having it on one's mobile can one realide it's innumerable uses. I would most definitely recommend having it always!

Just installed and it seems pretty good. Why doesn't the marine compass rotate automatically? I have to tap the compass to get it to rotate. The Rose compass rotates when I spin the phone around

This app has never gotten me lost. It always gets me to my destination even though I have never been in the area before. This is my favorite map app

The app was working great yesterday and today the compass is off almost 180 degrees. Very disappointed.

still cannot view in satellite view on Samsung Galaxy A8. I tried what you suggested and still no satellite map.
