I reviewed this application back in 2015. Now it's 6 years later and the application is still poorly built. It doesn't add an Icon for the app. to your devices "Home" page after installation of app. I could list "more" but no point. Simply put Buggy! 👎🏻
Love the app. Would be nice if you could zoom in on an area and see sizes and times of the smaller quakes at their pin points. Other than that it is really useful.
This is a basic app for keeping abreast of seismic activity in general terms. Good enough for the layman, if you live somewhere more vulnerable to earthquakes...I have no idea. Worth your time at any rate.
OH Bam!! Thoroughly love this app! Runs at a pace the human brain was meant to think. Simplified to accurately locate current activity. Launches USGS page in a flash. You guys are really serious about what you do. Thank you for the streamlined version. Keep up the fantastic work.🌄❤️😄
This is a great app. It shows a rotating globe that you can see and control by spinning around to see the area ofit you want to see. Then there is a representation of an earthquake in the form of a pin that points to the epicenter and its length corralates with the magnitude of the quake
Slick and fast. Incredible how much info it shows in 3d and how intuitive the interface is. Touch and slide to rotate, pinch to zoom.
Very little info and very low quality graphic design on the 3D visualisation. It is functional so therefore 2 stars instead of 1.
Definitely worth checking out. Runs smoothly with simple self explanatory controls. Accurate, reliable 24/7 and customizable.
It's basic and fancy. As a Californian it's neat to see where all the action is here and elsewhere. I especially like the filters and 80s style pulse.
I dig this. THIS APP GLOWS With the Selectable Translucent Globe, ALL OTHER selectors ON, and BLUE colors. I Do Not have ANY ILLUSIONS about the Pain and Suffering the 'Spikes' stab into, but 3D EQ enables very UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES. A+, Dev's.
The free version is kinda worthless other than to show me there has been an earthquake. No information is attached unless one pays. Just not worth the space on my phone.
Love the 3D effect. Doesn't always follow parameters and requests. Not perfect, but who is? Enjoying most of it.
SURREAL, given I live in New Zealand as has fault lines through most of the country. And Adjacent to others. This app is nigh ESSENTIAL to learn and understand how the Tectonic Plates effect our Geological status and their movements. As often disrupt whole civilizations.
This is the most accurate and up to date seismic app that I've ever used. I've personally used it for 7 years now and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future as well. Great app!
I have the ad free version, it looks awesome (so far)☆☆☆☆ for now and if it works as good as it looks, another dozen stars!
I love it. Updates new info every time I open the app. Longer lines and redder colors denote stronger quakes. Very useful at a glance.
It is a very nice app. Love to use it daily. A bit hard to read the magnitude, and time stamp when there are multiple quakes in one spot. But enjoy having it.
It is a creative representation of data that makes it fun and easy to use. Locating seismic events is intuitive with the plus of visualizing plate tectonics.
This spikes could come farther away from the surface and the circle that denotes the quake could be a little slower. Thanks , I see you have not included the new Madrid fault, why???
As far as I'm concerned this app deserves 5 stars… I only put 4 because I know that you'll be upgrading periodically and I wanna make sure I'm able to show my appreciation when it's done. Thank you!
As a visual person this app is perfect. Unique, & accurate. I check it several times daily.
Living in a place that has a history of Earthquakes and having family living in EARTHQUAKE prone areas, I rely on this app to inform me of the severity of the quake. We had a few shakes and this app was very helpful. I get to see earthquakes from around the world.
Very simple, up to date, easily interpreted representation of recent earthquake activity around the globe.
Useful but sadly screenshots and video captures dont view as well as the app shows, shares dont look good at all.
Easy app to view EQs around the world. The ads are simple one-page ad with quick option to close it.
I really like the vector display lots, but the filters seem not always to filter, and filter parameters arent very granular. Notable is that you can't zoom in to a smaller region as close as other apps. Better data feed and adjustments (like most other eq apps) would be an app I would pay to own.
