I got the app because I like the feature of the flip clock. The weather portion has a lot of information available that local TV station apps do not have such as barometric pressure, wind chill, dewpoint when it is below freezing and this is just in the free part of the app. I have not paid for the hurricane tracker or the 60-minute forecast which are several of the add-on features. I have no need for the premium features.
I really enjoy this widget, as it looks great and has the most alternate button options of any clock/weather widget I've found. HOWEVER, I've recently come across an issue where, at midnight every night, the widget refuses to display until I restart my phone. This started happening I believe after the latest Android update. I would appreciate a solution to this inconvenience soon because, as I said, I really do like this widget!
I like the widget showing the flip clock and other basic information, at least that part is accurate. But the weather part of the app is absolutely useless and unreliable...even more so than the normal ineptness of weather forecasters. The forecast is way off no matter which provider I choose to utilize within the app. Use it for the clock widget and ignore the weather part of the app
I've been using this app for a long time on a number of phones. It says you can change the color of the digits, but no matter what I try they remind the big ugly black digits. I can change all the back grounds and they are great but still the big black numbers.
Very good application (app) only thing clock not automatically keeping correct time ... still an amazing application.
Use it every day. Accuracy can bea little dramtic, not quite as cold/hot rainy/clear or whatever. I like it and love the clock, date, temp and all that great stuff. Definitely one of my most used apps..
On December 9th I reported that I couldn't properly size it on my screen. Samsung's forced update to UI 3 caused the problem. These guys were great in responding and are currently looking into a resolution.
Excellent app for accurate and reliable time and weather. I'd give it a 10 star rating if I could. Thanks so much for your time and hard work. I'm so glad I found this.
Using the 4x2 widget on galaxy s22 on a 5x6 grid the ends are cut off the city and high lo Temps.
The new alarm app is terrible. There is no clear indicator for saving a new alarm. The saved alarm is too big and makes it hard to see your list of alarms. There seems to be a limit to the number of alarms you can set, because as I was re-entering my alarms it just stopped allowing me to save. The update also erased all of my previously set alarms. Thanks for that, not. I've spent 30 min. trying to reset my alarms and I am not finished, but it quit saving. I loved the previous alarm app.
SEEMS TO USE TO MUCH PHONE'S SPEED/Memory (update: thanks for developer input. I have rebooted my cell countless times. The drag started with auto updates. To be fair, your clock may not be the cause, but it became a drag along with other apps, so I had to delete non necessary items. It did speed up when removed (more than anything else I did to address my phone's sudden change.) appreciate the contact.
It's really a nice-looking clock. Good options for font colors and clock display . I like the shortcuts built into the widget.
I would say the most important part of having a sense flip clock widget would be a actual animated "flipping" of the clock widget which this software seems to lack. Back on XDA in 2012 this actually worked it seems we have regressed in authenticity "sense" then. Nine years of technical progression and the result is that the animation does even animate. I have a Samsung A71 so i dout the issue is on my end if there is one. I Have the latest version before you say get it.
This is a great app. It is so accurate and gives you the heads-up so you know what to expect the weather to be.
You cannot customize the numbers or fonts and there is no transparent theme. Take a look at Beautiful widgets, that is one to beat. Even though the developer has skipped town the app itself was second to none. The customization options were the best yet.
Love it. Great format. ALL info displayed Clearly. You can Choose the display that best suites you. dot point, graphs columns ect. all aspects of the design can be personalised. Graphics, Fonts, Clocks, right down to the colours of individual widget items diplayed on the screen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
NEW PHONE EDIT: Just upgraded to a 2020 phone, Sony Xperia 1 ii to be exact, and the 5x3 option is perfect for width, but both 5x3 and 4x3 options take up a whole row space beneath the clock that I can't place app icons. The cropping option won't adjust for it either. 2018 Phone... perfect size. Tablet... too small. Dragging the resizing dots doesn't change the size... just accommodates more screen area without actually increasing the size of the widget itself. Tried both 5x3 and 6x3...nada.
I would have given this app a 4 or5, but it's too small . On previous phones it was a nice size(4×2) and you could see it easily before opening it. Hope you go back to the older version. My mistake .I forgot to ad widget to home screen. It a good looking widget.
I love this app. I like the ability to change the appearance in so many ways. I can look at the weather forcast hour by hour, see the moon phases, choose which agency to get my weather from & many other choices. it's very user friendly.
This is an app I've used consistently over the years, and it's only managed to get better... and better. It's one of the few apps I've used over this period of time who quietly and constantly improves upon itself, and remedies any errors presented or found. More important, it does so without forcing invasive access permission requests along the way as some other popular apps have done. Because I've used this app for many years since owning a smartphone, I can attest to the fact it is the genuine deal, and does its job with gusto. Well done MachhApp!
Described this originally as a dreadful app, being totally unreliable, with frequety incorrect weather details and forecasts..I gave it 1*. Now, I wish I could give MINUS ratings: a few hours ago, it said the weather was cloudy, rainy and 7C... BUT! it was dry, lots of sunshine and only 4C! This type of inaccuracy makes the app not worthwhile. NOT recommended.
Very accurate weather app & stylish too,I haven't got the premium version so I appreciate any free icons, widgets, fonts etc... Keep up the great work. Sorry to knock a star off but since the last update I keep getting a message on my phone saying "weather app keeps stopping", please fix & I'll redeem that 5th star.
One of the best app on the market. I discovered it since my first HTC phone back in 2012. I use it now whenever I change a phone. It was fully customisable before but now we don't have the option to customise the fonts anymore. Can you fix it please. Note 8 user.
It brings back memories of HTC and their BEAUTIFUL Designs. Please be Cautious that there is a Paid Version that is Very Easy to accidentally subscribe to. Buyer Beware! Otherwise a Good App (if they'd only add a Calendar Touch Area it would be Perfect and Definitely worth a buck, hint, hint Devs 👍😁👍)
Ok but no widget settings. Depending on where you touch it either vibrates, or takes you to alarm or app settings. The alarm displays as 0 00 in the widget, not the correct time. You can alter date in settings but style of the widget and the lack of its settings let's it down. This company has many apps, all similar, some with more options than others, they should concentrate on getting one good app.
