3D Scanner Pro

Its ok. I dont know how accurate it was, but the models werent what I was expecting. Although I dont like their credits system, its very forgiving (dont like the model, they instantly refund the credits). Their 3d scanning app is easy to use, whether you use photos (at least 10) or a video (10-60 seconds). Its a good experience, but I wasnt able to generate a good scan of an art piece. Ill try it again in the future.

Great app! It took some effort, but it finally works very well for me. Few tips for those who have difficulties: 1. The less features your model has - the more overlapping photos you should take. For some figures I made 40+ photos and then it worked. 2. Use flashlight if you're not sure the lighting of the scene is enough. 3. Make sure your object is in the center of the photo frame and it is close enough. The support team is great! They answer quickly and provide real help.

I have tried many apps in this space over the past year. If you have a new-ish cell phone, 3D Scanner Pro works very well. The picture mode in Ultra gives very nice quality for my uses (AR). The video mode is fast and super easy. Of course, it is not perfect but the developers respond and fix issues if they arise. It is well worth the purchase price and the editing service (included) is a game changer for me (I just want to scan and use the model without ever opening 3D editor). Thanks for making 3D scanning easy and accessible!

Really good App. I am able to make nice quality 3D models just using my phone. Was searching for this functionality for a long time. It is saving me a lot of time. If you find reviews were people are complaining about getting bad 3d models, then they are not following the instructions to capture images properly. So far the app is really impressive.

Ideas nice. Process is very flawed. Had tons of problem to get it to accept very well done photos. But when I tried with floppy photos it suddenly worked. Kinda. Alot of artifacts where on the model. So I requested a clean up on the model. Got what I asked form... After a really long while, and missing textures. This is a novelty at best. And probably not very useful.

Initially I was using this to scan some 3d models and it was doing a great job, nothing changed in the way I was scanning these models but all of a sudden it was only texturing and painting one side, I wrote for help a few times (telling me oh you need better lighting, or oh your model is too small) all while I'm spending credits SCANNING not even downloading! It takes me 4-5 scans to get a good model, guess I have to pay $5 a model. Guess again! Do not buy! Go try something else. I am.

Although used only twice for scanning objects, I have zero results. I will give it another few chances more. Today, Jan. 15th, I tried it again without any result. (Box1 and holder1) Strange enough I noticed that the surrounding was captured in 3D and the object 0.0% although all pictures were in the square. Waste of time and money. In the past I used 123Catch and that app did work perfect.

Terrible, poor quality scan, unintuitive user interface and uses a credit system to use so you have to keep paying to use the app. Once a scan has been done you have to download and use credits before you can see your wasted money, next the downloaded file becomes impossible to find and you will end up wondering were your time and money has gone

I thought that I was over my amateur photogrammetry attempts after having been burnt out by the Scann3D app on phone and Zephyr and Metashape on desktop, but I bought this app on an impulse and tried it out. The model 3D Scanner Pro made was excellent, and it's rekindling my interest in doing more photogrammetry. My only concern now with this app is to use my remaining processing and downloading points wisely and not waste them on bad or stupid things.

Not going to pay for an app and then have to have credits to make a scan. Either make the app free and charge for scans or don't charge for scans. Did not even bother to test the app when I saw it requires credits. Won't even give it a chance now! Your greed is ridiculous, and I don't care if the credits are a penny each. Lost this customer. UPDATE: 4 months after writing this review, I got an email I didn't sign up for. This app is utter garbage. Still 1 star, but only because that's minimum.

Pretty rubbish. Paid €5.5 and doesnt get past the login page. If you're going to charge this way perhaps have a trial period so you know it works as I note there is no refund option as other apps doing the same thing have....

Does not work at all. Took 40 pictures. Let it run for an hour and a half. Only built 3 percent of the model then stopped. Also stupid that you have to pay for the app but then have a limited amount of uses before paying to buy more uses. That is rediculous. Stay away from this rip off off app. Compete waste of time and money!!

This app is able to provide some 3D scans, however quality is very very low. I did 3 tests and none of them resulted into model I could print or at least edit to be printable. Definetly not working as in promo video. Also, you must pay for the app and then you get some basic credits in the app, but you will run out of them and then you have to pay more to be able to scan... Im not happy and I regret buying it. Sorry devs

Seems it could work but my models just end up looking like garbage, I am also not a fan of the fact that you need to pay for credits, like its already a paid app and your competitors are free. Then ask us to pay for credits. Also scan refund didn't work completely. Do I need a blank background for a better scan?

1. Charge for the app, or charge for the scans. If you charge for the app then drop the credit based billing! 2. Took 87 pictures and the app crashed. Creating a model by importing the pictures worked. 3. I can't view the model in App. The model viewer doesn't load, so i downloaded the model. The downloaded model doesn't open in app as well. The downloaded model is 350mb big, that might be a problem. Opening model with blender on PC uses 11GB of RAM. Quality is fine.

Ive give this a 4 star as it was working well after 2 scans it now wont work.. it just hangs.. maybe an update has effected something. Maybe developer can resolve. Wont work to generate even if I use camera or load from gallery. Just sits with the busy circle going round. Was good when it worked and was hoping to get 3D printing etc. Help..

"Processing" images (while we wait for the refund period for our app in the Play store to expire so we can steal your money) Wait, I BOUGHT your app but I can't do 3D scans WITHOUT BUYING FREAKING CREDITS!!??? This app is a down right scam. To boot... It doesn't even work!!! Not even remotely close to working!! DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS APP, even if it's "free!" You'll need to purchase "credits" from them every time you want to create one of their schitty "models"

Quality of 3d models is something gave me the excitement to come and share here. I made 8models so far, out of which 7models came out of the box. Haven't seen such quality in any other app so far. Feedback to the development team - There is a space for improving in user experience. Great work.

Tried multiple times and it didn't work at all. Models come out completely different shapes and picks up random background objects. It also crashes when taking photos. I only get to about 50x photos and it lags and crashes.

Takes a few attempts to get it right but when you do the end result is amazing. When you scan the object it is better to over do it to make sure you get all the angles covered. 3D scanner pro is best app for scanning objects in 3D. "

I was unsure at first with the credits system but it all works, and my video scan processing completed in a few minutes. The models are clean and full color and you can download them to edit the raw obj files with texture packs as well.

first scan on paid app failed real bad, then couldn't get past the tutorial window. the trial worked so much better and the app is just too limited. Can't delete and need to pay extra for scans, that's just crazy.

Have done my first capture and uploaded the images, the processing is just stuck on 0%... Don't want to waste my credits (didn't know I had to buy the app AND buy credits....) on doing another one. Can't really give it anymore than 1 star as it doesn't work.

I am a 3D geek, I have a 3d printer..3d scanner everything with a 3d in the name .. and this APP is one of the best things I have tried... Create a video with your phone put it in the app get a 3d model.. yes you need to pay but come on! The price is totally affordable!! The app totally worth it

Do not buy this app. First of all you have to pay to own it and THEN you have to use credits I order to process AND scan items. Once out of credits you have to buy more. I went through the tutorial and then sent my item fir processing. It has benn sitting at 0% for two days. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

You have to buy the app, and it gives you some credits, but it uses multiple on a single model and multiple on a single download, after use the app requires another purchase to continue using it. Save your money unless you just need to scan a few things to make a model.

You aren't buying the app, you are paying for the ability touse in app credits. Each scan costs credits. Once they are out you pay again. Shame on this dev. Either charge the user for the app, or a small fee per scan, but not both. What a joke.
