The app is long abandoned by the developers, but it's still one of the better options out there. Beware, there is no cloud support to backup all your efforts or access them from another device. There is no multiplayer support.. so the DM has to manage movements of all player tokens, which is a bummer. I load this up, and screen share on a zoom call.. it works pretty great, actually. Desperate for an update. I would love to have zone of affect, active sight.. so many things missing.
Hands down, the best tabletop app out there. If you're looking for an app with which you can render beautiful maps and miniatures with, this is the number 1 app on the market. It's simple and intuitive, where you can upload your own maps, size them to whatever works for you, and upload your own figures from just pictures. Works excellently projecting onto the big screen. Scenarios are an amazing tool which allows you to set up encounters before they happen, saving considerable time during games.
This app in its current form can breathe fresh and convenient life into a game of dungeons and dragons where it counts: the board. The only suggestions are that it needs more stuff. What me (the DM) and my party would like to see tweaked is: -tokens for "Area of effect" like as the ability to create a ring, or an image on the map which is X squares wide, and move it around like a token. -Add "Condition" to pc tokens and let pc tokens move over Fog of War without it engulfing their token.
i want the 3d version and be able to make my own maps sadly i havent figured out how to if at all in free version. needs a non u tube tutorial and a step by step howto i just fumbled around awhile till i figured it out. next glitch over cross scenario items not removing without total wipe. i like this app and if i can get the full one soon its number one for gaming number 2 overall. No help from dev so it's gone as far as she's gonna.
Absolutely amazing. Wish I had a touchscreen table to run game night on, but works fine to use screen sharing feature to smart TV or projector. Suggestions would be to allow multiple devices to access the same map on different accounts (i.e. a DM and a player). Toss in VOIP and dice roller and it'd be 100 times better than Roll20.
A literal GODSEND for peeps that dont use or dont like Roll20. Controllable Fog of War, importable tokens and maps, and preloaded with everything youll need to play 5e or something of a similar setting. Needs a subscription for multiple users to poke the same map, but to just screenie and text is totally free. I can see me getting a ton of mileage out of this!
Best digital tabletop app I've ever come across. Great to cast your d&d game. Import your own icons, tokens, NPCs, and monsters. Import your own maps. Simple UI, smooth interface, easy to understand and effective to use. Amazing app on all levels.
this is really good, but 1 thing. can u make a 2d top down version of this, or be ablw to change the default home view to suit us. the 3d effect really slows down my phone, and gives me a headache. but i appreciate the effort put into this.
App hasn't been updated since 2015. Author still wants you to pay for content? Requires access to calls? When I run it, I get a message that it was built for older version of Android, and may not work correctly. No cloud storage.
Exactly what I was looking for, only issue is the feature to create your own miniature seems to be bugged (I can create one but the picture I uploaded doesn't show in the miniature, it's always just blank) if that could be fixed I'd rate 5 stars
I like the app but, I wish there was an 'erase tile/add tile' button, that let you expand/shrink the existing maps as you needed. Because the 'Hide' kinda works, but not really, but other than that it's pretty good all things considered
If it had chromecast functionality it would be exactly what I was after. That combined with the multi user would make it so much easier for live sessions.
Great vtt plan on using it to mirror my device to the screen, wish there was a way to let other players have control of their token or some kind of dice roller or initiative tracker, also please update there is no Google plus anymore so I can't have an account. If you can add any of this I will give it 5 stars and rant about how great it is online. But for what it is it does a great job probably the best I've seen
Good concept, but I can't connect to my game cross-platform. I wanted to have a screen up so that I can DM on my computer and have my players use phones to access the map, but there seems no way to do this.
highly disappointed in this app. the moment I opened it up, I was confused. there was already a map with named characters and monsters. none of the buttons were labeled I had no idea what to do. worst yet once I did I realized all the good stuff was pay only... lame
Dev doesn't care about this app anymore. Just left it high and dry so dont expect a response from the dev at all if you try to message. Was a great app but now not so much. Good for mirroring but multiplayer online it's pointless. If the dev doesnt care anymore just needs to be free 100% and not have to worry about a subscription that doesnt work in the first place
The google+ accounts don't work anymore. How are we supposed to play together if I can't use my google+ to log in anymore? Please find another way to log in so I don't lose all of maps and minis!
This app is great. They need to come back and update it. Everyone can log in at the same time but log in doesnt work anymore. Please come update your app
One minor issue... I know the depictions are an artist's unique take on the creature, but among other things, the Rakshasa's hands are backwards, as directly quoted in the monster manual, and the ones your app has are basically tabaxi, as their hands are normal. Also, I could do with a temporary subscription option, instead of auto pay. I suddenly lose access to the internet and you're draining my bank without me getting any services.
Free, easy to use and upload your own extras and it comes with a lot of great monsters, could be D&D any edition, Pathfinder either edition or honestly virtually any TTRPG that uses maps with minis.
Awesome vtt for maps and minis. I love this app, but is there ever goinf to be an updated to get off the no longer valid Goolge +? I have players that want to be able to control their characters instead of telling me where to move them.
I have been trying to make use out of the app for ages. One of the things that I have never been able to find out is how to share a game? I make one but I have a guest pass that there is literally ZERO instruction on how to use it. I've been searching for hours and with such a generic name for an app I'm really just screaming into the wind. If this is a feature that can't actually be used on mobile devices then maybe you should remove it.
would give 5 star but unfortunately app needs a width and length of pawns, without this feature youre limited on the size. as far as everything else goes app is great and usefull.
All in all one of the best virtual table tops did have a little bit of trouble with screen rotation but was able to figure that out with practice

Does what it says on the tin. Upload your own tokens and maps, great for planning for yourself, only ok for actually running a game.
Almost perfect, all I could say is add a miniature section or like a dnd bag to hold dice, miniatures, and statuse effect tokens.
I absolutely love this app. It's perfect for tablet use for in-person gaming if you don't have (or don't have room for) a conventional battle map. Being able to save the state of a current map is super useful as well so you can pause the action and jump right back in later on. Features I would like to have: * lock 2d view and orientation. The 3d is cool, but sometimes(frequently) I just want to have a top-down tactical view with north fixed facing up. * more robust fog of war/lighting. It would be nice if a light radius around a character could be defined, and if areas could be designated as unexplored/light/dim light/explored but not visible.
