I'm not going to lie but why would somebody upload a program without a necessary component like the bios file needed in order to use it. It's like saying hey man you can have this car that I am going to give you but guess what, you have to go find the key off in some distant land in some random field that I threw it into before you can use the car. And for that reason I give this app 1 star.
Awful. After downloading, you must download the bios for the app to work, so a link takes you to the developer's webpage. Once there you're asked to access many webpages with lots of annoying adds just to realize the downloads have expired. The worst. Do not download
Doesn't detect files even when present. Tried both zipped and unzipped, in both the "old" and new folders as instructed. Nothing works. Tons of skeezy adfly clicks.
I was hoping the one star reviews were just fibbing or users that didn't know what they're doing, but... This BIOS thing is impossible to find on your website, I've read every word on the page and found absolutely nothing to download the proper files. Please fix this soon.
a bios is required to run the emulator, and if you dont have one... youre screwed. the app claims all you have to do is click one of the links below, but tons of surveys and extra requirements pops out. until its fixed i gotta 1 star you, because I cannot do anything with the treasured bios file.
DO NOT GET THIS APP, many people even with 5 stars complain about the same thing. Don't even waist your time, but rather wait for citra to release their version. No matter how much searching you do you'll never be able to make this work. I personally even used astro and other file managers, but none of them will put the "locked" bios folder in. And to unlock it you must give out personal information and your time which doesn't work at all.
scam.... or mentally handicapped developers, either way total loss of time with a significant add revenue for the developers. It's designed to get you in a loop looking for this mysterious BIOS file to put it in a folder that does not exist.
Does not work, also does not allow you to manually open the file of the game. So if the trash scanning can't find it you will not be able to show it where to look and you won't be able to do anything about it. Save yourself some time. Skip these.
this just ask too many questions and not give the request of the people look for their favorite games, you don't learn nothing from this and they try to steal your information... ⚠️👈 If you own a phone, you should have full options for phone. Don't need a college survey to screw the access. These emulator have a cube or stretch cube format on x and y graph's. Who are the Nit-wit to mess with people whom already know this....📱
Requires an outside download from either a source that doesn't work or requires you to complete a download or a survey. A waste of time, I just wanted to play Pokemon.
The site that download bios is filled with ads and no links . Also for some reason , no app file was created . I quadruple checked and I couldn't find any .
It requires 3DS bios to run. What if you dont have bios? Well, they have their own website and there are links that leads to some of the most scatchest sites on the internet. What a disaster. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.
Requires bios? Lol yeah right all the links just take you to ads and surveys, the only genuine like says the file you're trying to download doesn't exist. I did look online and what I found is that a 3ds bio's doesn't exist.
Definitely a scam. Will not work even with the so called bios and as others have said the site you have to go to download is tons of ads to find out still doesn't work! Reporting this app.
Dumb. You need to download a bios not from a regular site but some 3rd party scummy download site. No other ds emulator needs this just a bad way to make money from the download. Never even got to try this emulator out because of the missing bio.
For some reason I can't play the roms I downloaded and It keeps saying I haven't downloaded the BOIS but when I go to the site it says that it already should have been downloaded with the app.
Needs a BIOS file and all of the mirrors on their website are particularly heinous wrt ads, and course if you finally get to the page to download the file had already been deleted.
i just wanted to let everyone know that you dont have to use the websites given and plus its hard to find 3ds games due to the fact that people still need to decrypt some of these games and then upload them wile under a vpn network so the file soesnt get taken down. but i tested the app with smash bros and its a little laggy but this is a demo app so all you one star raters cut the dev some slack cuz half the problem is you not knowing how to use the decrypted games. all emus work differently.
after an hour long struggle to find a bios file which should be included in the emulator to begin with, the instructions on how to load the bios didn't work which makes this app entirely usless
The BIOS stuff is too annoying and when I try to download the BIOS, it doesn't show up. Total waste of time.
It says "bios not found" as soon as you launch it and I know for a fine fact that the 3DS doesn't have a bios. Do not download this scammy app.
Guys the app works great and for the people who complain about having to download the bios files off the app A) you can just download the file on a computer and put the file on your phone B) every good emulator requires you to download separate links to play the games you want
Incredibly disappointing. These files need to be updated constantly but the developer clearly can't see that. All the links took me to a legitimate site with a download, but they had all expired, which is pathetic, especially as 3DS emulators don't need BIOS to run.
