This piece of scrap has become so bad that not only can they not spell the word stream...it can't even rejoin a show on time and keeps playing ads well after the ad break has actually ended, absolute idiots ,so if you're thinking of downloading this woeful piece of a mistake,don't ,just don't!!! , Keep it to the old fashioned technology of TV because whoever the hell designed this needs to go back to primary school let alone college or university!!! Possibly the worst app on Google play

WHAT DID YOU FIX???🙈🙈🙈🙈 Worst app ever...seriously is that the best you can do.??? Can't even watch a box set unless you want to start at the beginning each time😡 with ads after ads and you can't cast.???

Player is atrocious. Drops out of an episode for no reason, and when you try to resume you get a ream of ads again. I've had 15 ads in 5 minutes, it's a joke.

App won't open. No idea what is wrong. Have uninstall and installed several times to no avail. Turned off device several times too. Nothing makes any difference.

Awful Doesn't cast on chromecast Anything you watch live is bad quality stop starts blurred (I have fibre connection) .. use channel 4 app all time .. brilliant and HD quality when casting Keeps crashing every time I try to open app even after deleting and installing again (April '22)

App won't open, my phone keeps freezing with a black screen when I try to use the app. Very disappointing & time wasting.

Terrible app with so many ads. Watch rugby highlights 60mins show and had 28mins of ads and there not even in sync with the adverts on and show in total 15mins off ads and missed all the match highlights.

Awful app. Often disconnects for one second and makes you re-watch ads in order to reconnect. Painful

A pretty useless App, slow to boot up any show, (if it boots the show up at all). Will be uninstalling, as fast as I installed it.

Android, S21. App won't even open. Reports there is a bug and closes. Tried reinstall. No joy.

Avoid!!! Absolute rubbish, i have full 5g signal. Live 6 nations match was painfully difficult to watch. Gave up.

No Chromecast support! Initially after downloading, I was enjoying the look and feel of the app. I like the animations. So, ready I was, to watch the news and I realise that there's no Chromecast support! What a shame, especially as its a fine app otherwise. I'll happily change my rating when this omission is sorted. *Edit: Still no Chromecast support. ☹️

Terrible app!! Ads on loop too much to even watch. 3 mins of repeated ads , 3 SECONDS of Big Brother, then 3 more minutes of ads for another 3 seconds of a tv show and so on. Mysteriously, it can play ads repeatedly without a glitch, but can't play a stream or catch up. Hmm. It doesn't matter which device I use, it happens on all my devices. It doesnt even function for an app. Very poor. Trying to catch up on a missed show is impossible, it tells me "Playback error. Trying to resume video from an invalid state". Very poor, unfunctioning space & time waster. Loading in the browser isnt an option as it forces you to download the app. Not good for ppl that don't have tvs!!

Worked fine previously. Now abnormally excessive ads compared to every other player app. Used to be able to answer a call on phone and go back to where you were in programme.... Now, all the ads play again....regular black screen when trying to view and now casting facility compared to simular apps. Ads replay several times over and over. It takes twice as long now to watch anything..... Moved to itv hub now to watch all my soaps..... Much much better service.

Brutal, randomly goes offline, let's you back into the player. However, you have to rematch the ads again. This issue could happen every 2 minutes or every hour. The WiFi connection is stable. No buffering, no drop in video quality, the app just does working.

Not great. If you watch live there are a lot of crashes. You get maybe 30 secs of program then freeze and you can't get back in without watching 5 ads. Neither can you join a programme where you finished watching it without watching innumerable ads. Ive just watched 10 mins of a programme but had to watch 24 ads. A group of 5, then 7 another 5 and a final 7. I just gave up. There has to be a way of watching without excessive ads. Then the app will deserve more stars

Ahhhhh such a frustrating app. Ok folks, I really did want to rate this above a 1, but oh my dear Jesus/Buddha/Allah/Brahma, the creators have made it IMPOSSIBLE!! My internet connection is Fantastic so that's NOT the issue. This app plays 5/7 ads in a row. Mine may get to the end of 7 ads and decide to play them for another 2 goes (21 ads) It doesn't download shows. It isn't up to date, it doesn't give the skip 10 second back/forward option, it doesn't give resume option. I'm moving to ITV

Dreadful app considering the company and its prices. Crashes constantly and even forced my phone to switch off. Only just brought in the ability to cast to chromecast which has been around for about 5 years on other players. Shockingly bad in the streaming age.

There are so many ads, it completely throws you off what you are watching. In addition to the 7 regular ads, there are 5 others thrown in between also. There is probably more ad time than show time which is disappointing. Will be deleting as soon as I watch the series, if I have the patience to keep watching.
